Deleted Scene: Take Root
For those who love the "Cling Fast" / Hob Adherent series: this is, regrettably, not a new story. The series still ends where it ended.
However, it used to have a different ending. In that different version, instead of "Hold Tight" and "Keepsakes: A Plane Ticket", I planned to resolve the Daniel Hall and Orpheus storylines by writing a much longer multi-chapter fic about Hob finding out he still has living descendants through another TV show. In this story, Morpheus would have gotten jealous of Hob's living children, and spend more and more time asleep, with Daniel, until Despair & Desire finally came to Hob to tell him the truth about Orpheus.
I wrote this first chapter and then really, really struggled with the story after that. A long conversation with @late-to-the-magnus-archives led me to realize that if I did the Walkers/Daniel/Orpheus thing this way, by making them a negative thing in Hob's life, by choosing to stretch the trope of miscommunication between lovers, and by basically reverse-uno-ing all the work Hob did to grieve his brief mortal family, then I was doing a disservice to events and character growth in "Cling Fast".
Thematically it might have been a good fit, but it was perilously close to manufacturing unrealistic dissent for the sake of drama, and not because this is how the characters would have actually reacted in this situation.
So, I abandoned this tale, found better, kinder ways to resolve the Walkers/Daniel/Orpheus storylines, and reworked the series to be as it currently stands.
However.
I am still a little in love with this tiny fragment of a tale, and wanted to share it with you. Just for funsies.
Happy reading!

TAKE ROOT
When the camera crew walks into The New Inn, Hob assumes it has something to do with Cardenio. The filming request had come through Harriet, and as Hob trusts her not to chuck him into any situation that would endanger him, or his husband, and their secret, he'd said yes without really looking into the details of the television program.
They'd asked to film inside the pub, and to interview him on camera. As this was just one in a long line of such requests, he'd set the date, and thought nothing more about it.
(When this lifetime was over, Hob was going to have to ask for a very heavy favour from little Daniel Hall, to ensure that no one remembered that his face matches that of Robert Gadlen the Sixth, sometime media darling of the mediaeval history studies world. Dream of the Endless had already pledged to make his uncles' transition as smooth as was in his power, thank goodness, but Hob was still nervous about all the footage floating around out there.)
What Hob didn't expect was for the crew to come in full guns blazing, so to speak.
"Oh, hello," he says, standing up from the banquette as a steady-cam, followed by the operator holding it, enter the pub.  "Welcome to The New Inn."
The red light at the camera's lens is on, warning the world that it's recording. He's suddenly very glad he let Matthew talk him into wearing his hot-professor outfit, and the very light makeup required for this sort of thing. His hair is still shorter than he’d like, the scar on the left side of his head from a gunshot wound finally hidden by the longer style, for which he’s grateful. He wouldn’t want anyone to see it and worry.
Hob had kind of assumed that the crew would be dolling him up, but in the years since Elizabethan Manor he's learned that it never hurts to be camera-ready, just in case.
A man in a wireless headset enters behind the camera operator and waves at him, then points at the red light.
Yeah, I got that, Hob thinks but doesn't say. He's not sure why they're filming right away, but he doesn't want to spoil whatever shot they have planned. Maybe they spoke to Surinder and found out what a terrible actor Hob is, and have decided that it's far better to get his First Reactions on camera than to ask him to pretend.
Hob doesn't mind, but it would have been nice to be warned first.
Actually, if he bothered to read Harriet's email with any kind of depth, he probably was.
Patrick, the only other person in the pub at present, drops behind the bar like a WWI private tripping into a trench, and then scuttles into the kitchen, presumably to warn Destruction to stay hidden if he doesn't want to be filmed. Dee is in the middle of making the day's crusty loaf, so nothing will pull the Endless from the kitchen, unless it's serious.
Dee means business when he bakes.
"Thank you!" a young woman behind the PA says. She ducks around the other two folks, who are lingering in the doorway, and moves purposefully across the pub. Once she's firmly within the shot, she sticks out her hand. "I'm Maisie Hampstead."
"Hi Maisie, I'm Bob," Hob offers, shaking and then holding out a chair at his usual two-top for her because he's a gentleman, and old habits tend to kick in when he's wrong-footed. "What brings you to my humble pub?"
Maisie sets a heavy leather folder on the table between them, and for a second, Hob is terrified that this is a set up. That someone had hacked Harri's email, got him cornered, is about to reveal his terrible truth to a live-streamed audience, with a phalanx of nondescript cars and government scientists waiting in his front garden if he tries to run.
He reminds himself that the literal god of warriors is just one wall away, covered up to his elbows in flour, and that even if he was taken out of here against his will, his inlaws are the most powerful and immutable forces in the universe. Nothing and no one can harm him. Also, he can't die, which makes him ruthless and vicious when it comes to protecting himself—he doesn't have to avoid injury the way other people do when engaging in combat. While bullet and stab wounds hurt, they can be ignored in favour of finishing a fight.
But Maisie just smiles at him, flush with genuine excitement, and flips back the cover of the folder to reveal aâ€Ķ a family tree.
Okay, so not a clandestine setup or sting operation.
But something just as fraught.
Hob's eyes go wide as he skims the names on it, he knows they do, and he's pretty sure he must look absolutely pole-axed, because that's how he feels. He knew the BBC Historics department had mocked up a family tree for Elizabethan Manor, but he's never had occasion or desire to sit down and study it. He was already chastined enough by the fact that they found him in the first place. He had no patience to read in black and white where exactly he screwed up in hiding his past identities.
Hindsight, as the saying goes, is 20/20.
But the cameras are on him and he can’t exactly snap the cover shut and shout them all out the door. Not after he’d told Hari that he’d be game. So he reads on.
At the top of the tree, in computer-generated font, it reads:
Tumblr media
Hob's breath catches in his throat as he runs the tips of his fingers over first Eleanor's, then Robyn and Wee John's names. It's taken a lot of work, but he's proud that he's able to have this out-of-the-blue reminder of their love and loss, and not immediately react negatively. He is joyfully reminded of that time of his life, seeing their names, instead of triggered.
Butâ€Ķ no, wait, something's differentâ€Ķ
"There's aâ€Ķ there's another line here," Hob croaks, following the dots downward from Robyn's box. This wasn't part of the graphic when they shared it on the show. "There shouldn't be another line here. He neverâ€Ķ" Hob flattens his palm over the next row down on the family tree, not ready to read it yet.
Instead, he looks up at the young woman across from him, drinking in the sight of her like a parched man at a wholly unexpected, but nonetheless welcome, oasis.
She's blonde, hair flaxen-yellow and straight as a pin. But her eyes are dark, soulful brown, crinkling just enough at the corner to put her in her late twenties, he guesses. Detached earlobes. Complexion a few shades darker than his own, but still within the realm of olive-skinned. She's wearing light makeup, eyelashes mascaraed dark and lips painted and funky plum red. They curl on one side when she realises what he's doing, what he's looking for, the smile secret and mischievous in one corner.
And she has a cleft chin.
"Oh my god," Hob breathes. His eyes burn. There's a lump in his throat the size of a fist. He swallows hard. Excitement and fear and confusion swirl up in his middle, nauseating and fluttery.
He wants to reach out and grab her face between his hands, and hold her there, cataloguing everything. He wants to shove away from the table and race up the stairs and start shouting at the framed sketches of Robyn over his bed. He wants to curl up under a weighted blanket and hide from the truth until his husband coaxes him out.
Instead he just sits at the table, mouth hanging open like a landed fish.
He wishes Morph was here, and at the same time is unaccountably glad that his husband is in the middle of his daily ramble through the nearby Wapping Woods park. This is, he thinks, something he wants to discover on his own, first. Something to cherish and to hold, just for him, before he has to share it with the wider world.
Entirely on camera, of course.
Like all his major emotional revelations lately, it seems.
Ha.
 "Youâ€Ķ heâ€Ķ did heâ€Ķ?"
"See for yourself," Maisie coaxes him gently.
Slowly, tremblingly, Hob lifts his hand away from the paper.
Tumblr media
"Robyn had a son," Hob whispers, voice wavering. His hands are shaking. He presses them between his thighs, under the table, where the camera can't see. "I had a—" he cuts himself off with a choked noise, wet and thick with longing.
"They weren't married," Maisie explains, not oblivious to his surprise and distress, and quick to reassure. Though, from her perspective, he guesses it must be very odd, to see someone falling to pieces over family revelations that are already centuries past. "They never got the chance to."
She slides another piece of paper out from under the family tree, a copy of a handwritten letter, and Hob snatches it from her hands perhaps too eagerly. It's an account of a fight in the alleyway behind a tavern, written from the perspective of a bystander—no, not a bystander. A witness.
A patron at the tavern the night Robyn died.
There's a sentence highlighted but the letters blur and slide across the page.
Hob wipes at his eyes. "Iâ€Ķ sorry, can you read it to meâ€Ķ?"
Maisie takes the letter back and reads:
Young master Gadlen protested that he had no quarrel with the brothers of the distraught maid. He shewed that he had drawn neither dagger nor mayde a fiste. He did then call them brothers of his owne and did swear his intent to wed, but his oath came too layte for a knife had been thruste under his rib. Martha did wail and forswear the murderer as her kin, and held fast the lad until his heartsbloode had ceased to flow into the street. Mister Hampsted took his daughter awaye inside to the warmth. The undertaker was called for piteous master Gadlen and the lad was borne awaye to the house of his lamented father.
Hob remembers that night with the clarity that four hundred years of reliving it in his nightmares, and wishing he could have found a way to prevent it, has gifted him with. The smell of the tobacco he'd been smoking in the study mixed with the fatty funk of the tallow candles; the squeak of the undertaker's cart wheels as they bumped up the drive; the crunch of boots on the gravel as Rob's friends accompanied his body in an honour guard of misery; the gasp of horror Fletcher quickly stifled when he caught sight of the solemn procession; the taste of the claret Hob had been enjoying turning to sour bile on the back of his tongue.
Maisie mistakes his grave silence for incomprehension of the archaic English.
"The night Robyn Gadlen found out that Martha was pregnant, it looks like her brother jumped him for taking her virtue," Maisie explains gently. "Martha said in later letters that Robyn had proposed marriage as soon as she'd told him, and they'd conspired to elope. But her brothers stopped them as they were sneaking out the back of the tavern. They never made it."
I never knew, Hob realises. There was a child out there, Robyn's child, and I never even knew it. I failed Robyn. I failed this little Harry. I was so busy wallowing in my own grief and self pity, too busy getting drunk each night with Despair, too busy calling for and rebuffing Death, that I neverâ€Ķ did she bring the child to the house? Was I too insensible, too pathetic to even be sober long enough to see the baby when I had the opportunity—
Hob's breath shudders out of him in a soft moan. "Why didâ€Ķ why did she never bring the babe to Robyn's father?"
"Her own father sent her away to a convent that same night," Maisie says. "Here, here's another letter. She wrote often to a cousin during her confinement. She says that she would have fled to Gadlen House if she could, but her brothers had carried her off so quick that she was in a nun's cell before the blood was dry on her hands."
"Oh Christ," Hob groans, both a prayer for that poor girl, and a curse against those who had kept her from him. He is awash in relief that he hadn't actively driven his grandson and his mother away, and both regret and anger in equal measure that the baby was hidden from him. "And after the birth?"
"Martha returned home with little Harry and married a man who agreed to care for them both so long as Harry's parentage was never mentioned. The man took over her father-in-law's tavern eventually, but he died of cholera a few years later."
"Hampstead," Hob repeats dully, his brain clicking over slowly, like his gears were filled with fluffy, grief-coloured cotton. "That wasâ€Ķ that was the proprietor. Of the White Horse."
"Yes."
He looks up, feels the blood draining from his face. "Robyn died in the White Horse?"
Maisie cuts a confused glance at the camera, not sure what this has to do with the conversation they're clearly supposed to be having. "Yes."
Hob fists his hand in his shirt, over his heart. Surely, surely, he was going to die now.
This had to be it, after six hundred and sixty-some-odd years. Surely, there was no way to survive a heartbreak like this. "I thoughtâ€Ķ they said a tavern brawl, but they never said which one, and I—"
Maisie reaches out as if to touch his arm, and then stops halfway across the table, unsure of her welcome. "I'm sorry, do you need a minute?"
"Yes," Hob hiccups, and stands from the banquette. He doesn't look at the camera, doesn't make eye contact with the PA. He just walks straight back to the kitchen, pushes open the door, and zombie-shuffles right into the arms of Destruction, who has clearly been waiting for him.
The door has barely shut behind him before his face crumples and his lungs seize up. "He died in the White Horse," Hob sobs quietly. "Right there, where I—"
"I'm so sorry, Hob," Dee says, and rubs his back.
"All that time, I never marked it orâ€Ķ I feel like I should have known. I should have felt it."
"He went to the Sunless Lands in peace, Hob. There was nothing of your son remaining in that place for you to have felt. Don't feel guilty about that."
"I wish I'd known."
Dee hums gently, soothing, and hugs Hob harder as he weeps. Being hugged by Dee is like being gently crushed by tree-trunks. Hob presses his face against his brother-in-law's chest and lets Dee squeeze his soul back into his body.
After a few long minutes, Hob steps back and gives Dee a grateful pat on the arm. "Where's Patrick?"
"I sent him out for lemons," Dee rumbles.
"I bought a whole bag yesterday."
"I know."
"Thank you."
Dee studies his face. He must not like what he sees there because he says, "Do you want me to kick them out?"
"No," Hob replies. He sighs and scrubs his mouth, tries to pat down his hair. "No, no, it's fine. It was justâ€Ķ unexpected. Serves me right for not reading Harri's email more thoroughly."
Dee peers out of the porthole window in the kitchen door at the film crew. Hob can hear the murmur of their discussion, but not the contents of it. "Still, that's a hell of a thing to spring on a guy."
"I'll say," Hob snorts. "Oh, hey look, it's noon. I can drink now."
"Don't go overboard," Dee says, eyeing him.
"Don't worry," Hob reassures him, patting his massive forearm again. "I'm not going to fall back into my self-destructive ways. I spend enough time with you as it is, new-new kid."
Destruction snorts. "I was more thinking about how Despair would worry about you. She hovers like a brooding chicken."
Hob chuckles at the image, which was likely the point, and appreciates Dee's concern for his well being. Hob finishes putting himself to rights, squares his shoulders, takes a deep breath, and shoves the rest of his freak-out down, down, down to share with Morpheus when his husband gets back. And the cameras are gone.
On his way back to his table, he stops at the bar to scoop up four champagne flutes, and pulls one of the nicer bottles of prosecco out of the back of the fridge.
"Well," he says, feeling if not settled then at least more centred, when he sets his glasses down on the table beside Maisie's folder. "I think I can guess what happens next in the story, and if I'm right, then I figure we'll have something to toast to."
Maisie lights up, and Hob can see it, right there, in the way her eyes sparkle—here is his son's many-times granddaughter, come back to him. His blood, in her veins, seeking him out like a loadstone.
Oh christ, Hob thinks, falling a little bit in love with the kid on the spot. I'm going to have to let her dictate the pace of our family bonding, or else I'm going to be selfish and grabby.
"To be fair," Maisie says, "until we found some new documents, I thought I was a Fletcher."
"The Steward?" Hob asks, startled.
"After Martha's husband died, the tavern went to one of Martha's brothers and she came perilously close to abject poverty. She had other children to feed, and thought it was time for Robert Gadlen to know about his grandson. But by then they say the man had fully gone mad, and the Steward decided it was unsafe for the kid to live with him," Maisie explains, sliding the corresponding photocopy of a much older document out of the pile to show him.
It seems I owe that filthy cheating thief my gratitude for this, at least, Hob thinks as he pursues the paper. I absolutely was not in my right mind and this would have absolutely made it worse.
"When Fletcher just showed up at the civil courts one day with a kid, everyone assumed the little boy was actually his. Up until a month ago, my whole family thought we were the illegitimate descendants of the Steward. But the dates weren't adding up, andâ€Ķ well, then we joined the show and they did some digging. The historian found Martha's letters in the Gadlen Fell Crate papers, along with the documentation from the Court of Chancery, and suddenly it all made sense."
"Chancery?" Hob echoes, startled. "Little Harry was a ward of the Councillor?"
"Oh, you know what that is!" Maisie says, delighted. "I didn't."
Hob chances a look up at the P.A., who shrugs, and gives a go-head wave. He taps the family tree still between them, bringing her attention to the fake younger brother he had invented for himself in the early 1700s, Richard Gadlen.
Tumblr media
"Maisie, besides what it says on the family tree, did they tell you who I am?"
"Just that Richard Gadlen was my, uh, eight-times great uncle," Maisie says, blithely unaware of how Hob's heart is threatening to burst apart behind his ribs. "Which means you're my, um, no wait, we figured this out, my ninth cousin, once removed because you're one generation older than me."
Hob huffs a chuckle. More than one generation, he thinks.
He's taken to putting silver at his temples in the last year, just a speckle of bleach with a toothbrush, followed by some of the grey-pastel dye that the kids are into these days. He used to have to do this with chalk, so it's much nicer to not shed faux dandruff every time he turns his head. Morph, peacock that he is, isn't ready to start putting on airs of age. Doesn't matter, though—his hair is so black most people already assume it's coloured.
"And did they tell you what I do for a living?" he asks, reaching for the prosecco and unwrapping the foil.
"No," Maisie says, looking around The New Inn. "I assume you're a publican?"
"Well, yeah, but that's not my full-time gig." He works the cage off the bottle neck, and shoots a look at the camera operator. They give him a thumbs up, prepared for the loud noise. He begins to wiggle the cork. "I'm a professor at the University of York. I teach Medieval and Early Modern History and Language. My name is Doctor Robert Gadlen—"
"The sixth!" Maisie squeals in delight, finally putting all the clues together. "Oh my gosh! You're the Witch Knight!"
Hob groans. "We are not calling me that," he says, just as the cork jumps free with a delicious little pop.

Retrospective Review - Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
After having really liked Jurassic World, I was very excited for Fallen Kingdom. I was a little apprehensive after having seen the reviews of the film. However, I ended up enjoying the film a fair bit, even though it was not on the same level as JW, TLW, or JP. Upon rewatching it, my opinion hasn't changed much. This is an enjoyable movie with some major narrative flaws that prevent it from being as good as it could have been.
The first hour of the film is honestly fantastic. The opening sequence is probably the best opening sequence of the franchise. Bayona clearly seemed to be using his horror movie roots to good effect. Its a very effective sequence which gets you into the movie. The next 40-50 minutes of the film also quickly get us into the story. The idea of rescuing the Dinosaurs from Isla Nublar's exploding volcano is a fun concept and they do a good job executing it. There is definitely a different visual flair to this movie than JW. While JW was quite bright and sunny, FK uses shadows and darkness to good effect. There is an urgency and constant sense of danger to the proceedings for the first hour. The pacing of this half is also quick and pacy. The action sequences of Dinosaurs amidst an exploding Volcano are a lot of fun. There is also a heartbreaking ending with the death of the original Brachiosaurus. That scene hurt.
Bayona's horror movie roots become even more pronounced in the 2nd half of the movie. The second half, particularly the last 30-40 mins or so, is essentially a contained monster movie with the entire last hour taking place inside the Lockwood mansion, with the new genetic spliced monster, the Indoraptor, chasing the main characters through the house. You can tell that Bayona is very comfortable handling these sequences and he knows how to build tension and suspense. The film expands on the history of JP by adding Benjamin Lockwood as a co-founder of Jurassic Park along with John Hammond. One other aspect of the film that I admired is that it takes a bit more effort to have animatronic Dinosaurs. There are some sequences, like the scenes with Blue and a few scenes with the T-Rex, like the blood collection scene, which gain a little extra because they feel pretty real. The design of the Indoraptor is also pretty cool and it makes for a good villain. The film expands on Owen's bond with Blue significantly and that is a lot of the heart of the film. The film's ending ups the ante as it truly changes the status quo of the world, with Dinosaurs out and about.
However, the film has some major narrative flaws. This film's issues boil down to the script. Bayona does an excellent job directing the film, but the film can't help but feel like a transitional film. Its purpose seems to be to take the world of this franchise from where it was at the end of JW to where it will be at the beginning of Dominion. It doesn't exactly tell a substantial, independent story of its own. The human villains in this movie are cartoony. There is a sense of satisfaction in watching them getting eaten but it does feel like better human motivations for evil other than just money, would have made the plot more interesting. And unfortunately, the film doubles down on the idea of the weaponized Dinosaurs, which was inherently goofy in the previous film. Also, the whole idea of the mansion having an underground bunker capable of handling all those massive Dinosaurs is pretty ridiculous. There is also the plot of human cloning, with Maisie Lockwood that comes up, which itself also kind of makes it seem very silly. The 2nd half of the movie also feels a little suffocating since its all inside closed environment. The film can't help but feel small scale during that time. The climactic take down of the Indoraptor is underwhelming compared to the epic Dino battle in the previous film.
In terms of performances, Pratt and Howard are very assured in their roles as Owen and Claire. They have decent chemistry to sell their relationship. Daniella Pineda as Zia is spunky. Justice Smith as Franklin alternated between being funny and being annoying. Rafe Spall, Tony Jones, and Ted Levine are all a little hammy as the villains. BD Wong effectively reprises his role as Henry Wu. James Cromwell has a decent supporting role as Benjamin Lockwood. Isabella Sermon as Maisie is good in her role. Its always nice to see Jeff Goldblum, even though its just a couple of scenes.
All in all, the film still has good amount of fun. The music by Giacchino is strong as before. JA Bayona does an excellent job directing the film. The film is never boring and although the story of the film itself is pretty weak, it delivers on giving the world an exciting new status quo that I'm intrigued to see in Dominion. Overall, its a 6.5/10 for me.

***TW: Major mental/physical abuse and cursing in this one, please proceed with caution***
Patton stood there, hand on his neck and the other on his stomach. His long locks of blonde hair were gone. He now had a typical boyish haircut but a little bit longer on top so he could choose which way to flip his hair. Maisie had been amazingly kind the entire time she cut it. She even shared with Patton that she herself was transgender. She had been born a boy. Patton had never met a person who has transitioned all the way. It gave himâ€Ķ hope.
They had all walked together to a nearby church just across the street from the large house for the ceremony. Patton now waited for everything to begin.
Alice walked over towards Patton and he grabbed the pillow on the nearby table that had the rings on it.
"I'm ready, Alice." Patton said.
Alice smiled. "Yup! You look great. Now, I know your mom is gonna get mad but I very much doubt she'll make a scene at my wedding."
Patton agreed. "Yeah she's-- um very interested in some things you have." He tried to be coy but it didn't work.
"Oh yes that's very clear how much she came around after my mother died." Alice rolled her eyes. "Pay her no mind. I take full responsibility for what happened today." She ran her hand through Patton's hair and he giggled. "You are who you believe you are, sweetheart and I support you. You look happier now than you have for awhileâ€Ķ"
Patton leaned in to Alice. "Thank you."
Alice leaned down and kissed Patton's head. "You're welcome. I love you, Patton."
"I love you too, Alice." Patton said.
A woman across the room called towards Alice and the bride to be looked excited.
"Things are about to start! See you later!" Alice said excited as she dashed off to take her position.
Patton gulped and grabbed the nearby pillow with the wedding rings on it. Another wedding host showed him where to stand and gave him a thumbs up. He was so nervous. What would his mother think? Would she stop the whole wedding to yell at him? Patton didn't know. He watched as the bridesmaids and groomsmen on both sides head down the walkway. Patton swelled to see both genders standing on either side of where Julia stood. She looked so beautiful in her white tux with a purple lapel. Even as far away as he was, Patton could see the tears rolling down her face.
Julia loved Alice so much.
Patton watched a girl in a light lavender dress head down the aisle next, spreading violet petals as she did so. She dramatically dumped the last bit at the very front and then Patton took a deep breath. He began walking.
It was then that he realized Julia was making eye contact with him.
He decided in that moment to not look anywhere else but her. Julia nodded and smiled gently as he walked. Patton felt so much better. As he arrived at the end, he stood next to the flower girl. Julia also gave him a thumbs up and he returned it. He had no idea if his mother had seen him or not. Hopefully Chris did. Patton wanted to thank Chris for the tux he was wearing.
Breaking the silence, "Here Comes The Bride" began to play from the organ in the corner. Everyone else stood up and Patton leaned around to see Alice. She had a tiara on now with a veil over her face.
She looks like an angelâ€Ķ Patton thought as she passed by him.
Uncle Dave gave a small wave to Patton as he walked by with Alice and Patton smiled. It seemed Uncle Dave approved too. Alice must've told him at some point.
The wedding proceeded as planned and Patton gave the wedding bands at the proper moment. Alice and Julia kissed and everyone erupted in cheers. Patton smiled and was genuinely happy for them until he noticed one person not cheering out of the corner of his eye.
If looks could kill, Patton would've been dead.
His mother glared daggers at him and by the look of things was restraining herself from saying a word. Her face was beet red and her eyes sharp with anger.
Patton quickly looked away from her and back to Alice who was in an embrace from Julia. The two held hands as they walked down the aisle to exit the church. Try as he might to not cry, Patton felt the tears begin to fall. The hope built up by Alice and her happy day all fell apart right in front of him. The room was loud, but he couldn't hear anything. It was muffled, as if it was far away. The tears blurred his vision. Why had he let this little ball of happiness so far inside his heart?
This is going to disappear. The voice in his mind chided him. Why would you think this outfit and haircut meant anything at all? You're trapped. You cannot escape her, Patricia. You're hers forever.
Patton shoved his hands onto his ears, dropping the ring bearer's pillow. He dashed towards the back of the church through a set of double doors. That was to be the catalyst for everything.
She's after you. She'll find you. The voice said. You can't hide from her. She knows you better than anyone else.
Patton ignored the voice, dashing through the empty halls. His new polished black shoes tapped on the vinyl floor, echoing his every movement to anyone giving chase. He ignored the tears falling down his face and quickly unbuttoned the jacket, taking it off in one quick movement. Patton proceeded to do the same thing to the shoes and pants as he ran. He didn't deserve to wear the clothing anymore. Eventually, one of the doors he tried swung open. He quickly shut it behind him and realized as his eyes adjusted to the darkness: a Sunday School classroom. Patton dived under the teacher's desk, wrapping his arms around his knees, trying so hard to calm himself down.
You're all alone now, Patricia. No one's coming to help you. Soon your mother will be here and who knows what she'll do with youâ€Ķ The voice said, taunting him. Abandoning the clothes doesn't change what you did! You horrible, disobedient girl!
Patton covered his ears. "Shut up!! SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!" he screamed. "Shut up.. please just shut upâ€Ķ"
The door on the other side of the room randomly burst open. Patton covered his mouth to quiet his sobs.
"Patricia?! I know you're in here! It's the only room unlocked!" Martha bellowed.
Patton refused to move, to speak. This was going to be the time his mother snapped.
"Patricia Marie!! GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW GODDAMN IT OR SO HELP ME!!" His mother shrieked, the voice piercing the cold silence around them. Suddenly the desk flung away from Patton and he screamed in terror, hiding his face into his knees. "There you are you ungrateful bitch!"
His mother reached down and grabbed Patton by the arm and yanked him up effortlessly, before rearing back and slapping him across the face as hard as she could. Patton wailed in pain and fell back to his knees, sobbing.
"No, you stand up right now. I'm going to show you exactly why you do not cross your mother." She spat, yanking Patton back up by his bra strap. "Look at you! You are a girl! Breasts, hips, and all!" Each word countered with a slap across Patton's face, each one more painful and loud. "No daughter of mine is going to be a tranny!" She slapped Patton so hard his bra strap snapped and Patton fell to the floor.
He didn't know if he was still awake or not. Everything was so dark and black. The shrill voice of his mother was now a mere muffle. He could taste iron in his mouth and he felt something warm running out of his ears and nose.
This was it. She was going to kill him.
The door slammed open across the room as Martha brought her foot down against Patton's ribs. He sputtered blood and wailed again. In the doorway, Alice rubbed her bruised shoulder from ramming into the locked wooden door. Her eyes darted to Patton collapsed on the floor. "Julia! Over here! Call 911, hurry!" Alice shouted down the hall before she ran over. "Get the fuck away from him!" Alice shouted, running over and shoving Martha away. "What the fuck do you think you're doing, Martha?! This is your child!" She leaned over to Patton, checking his vitals. What did she do to you, Patton? Oh baby I'm so sorry... Alice turned and stood to face Martha, her brows furrowed in anger.
Martha growled but didn't walk back towards her. She leaned against the desk she had shoved away. "That thing is not my daughter. Not anymore." Martha said. She wiped the sweat off her brow and stood up straight. "If she wants to be a boy then she should learn how to fight."
Alice growled. "You bitch."
From the door, Julia walked in, a gun in her right hand and a badge in her left.
"Martha Taylor, you're under arrest. Turn around." Julia said blankly, waving with the gun. "You have the right to remain silent and refuse to answer questions. Anything you say may be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to consult an attorneyâ€Ķ"
Alice turned back to Patton as Julia finished telling Martha her miranda rights and cuffing her. She gently tried to pick the small boy up but he whined gently, wrapping his arms around himself.
"Alice!" She turned to see Maisie at the door. "The ambulance is here!"
"We're coming." Alice responded as she picked Patton up against her. She shhed the crying boy, kissing his forehead.
As she walked by Martha in the hallway, she stopped for a second and looked at the woman dead in the eye. "If you even remotely look at Patton ever again, you won't be leaving in handcuffs next time."
Martha didn't respond.
Alice rushed down the hallway as fast as she could.
"Aliceâ€Ķ I.. I'm ruining your dressâ€Ķ" Patton mumbled.
"Baby, I don't care about my dress. Don't worry, focus on yourself." Alice assured. "Stay awake okay?"
".... I'm sorry." Patton said.
All Patton could hear as he slipped into darkness was Alice shouting his name.

There is also the term extras that are used as supporting characters with few roles in the film. This is different from the main actors who have bigger and more roles. Being an actor and an actress must be demanded to have good acting talent, which is in accordance with the theme of the film he is starring in. In certain scenes, the actor’s role can be replaced by a stuntman or a stuntman. The existence of a stuntman is important to replace the actors doing scenes that are difficult and extreme, which are usually found in action action films. Films can also be used to convey certain messages from the filmmaker. Some industries also use film to convey and represent their symbols and culture. Filmmaking is also a form of expression, thoughts, ideas, concepts, feelings and moods of a human being visualized in film. The film itself is mostly a fiction, although some are based on fact true stories or based on a true story. There are also documentaries with original and real pictures, or biographical films that tell the story of a character. There are many other popular genre films, ranging from action films, horror films, comedy films, romantic films, fantasy films, thriller films, drama films, science fiction films, crime films, documentaries and others. That’s a little information about the definition of film or movie. The information was quoted from various sources and references. Hope it can be useful. ❍❍❍ TV MOVIE ❍❍❍ The first television shows were experimental, sporadic broadcasts viewable only within a very short range from the broadcast tower starting in the 1930s. Televised events such as the 1936 Summer Olympics in Germany, the 19340 coronation of King George VI in the UK, and David Sarnoff’s famous introduction at the 1939 New York World’s Fair in the US spurred a growth in the medium, but World War II put a halt to development until after the war. The 19440 World MOVIE inspired many Americans to buy their first television set and then in 1948, the popular radio show Texaco Star Theater made the move and became the first weekly televised variety show, earning host Milton Berle the name “”Mr Television”” and demonstrating that the medium was a stable, modern form of entertainment which could attract advertisers. The first national live television broadcast in the US took place on September 4, 1951 when President Harry Truman’s speech at the Japanese Peace Treaty Conference in San Francisco was transmitted over AT&T’s transcontinental cable and microwave radio relay system to broadcast stations in local markets. The first national color broadcast (the 1954 Tournament of Roses Parade) in the US occurred on January 1, 1954. During the following ten years most network broadcasts, and nearly all local programming, continued to be in black-and-white. A color transition was announced for the fall of 1965, during which over half of all network prime-time programming would be broadcast in color. The first all-color prime-time season came just one year later. In 19402, the last holdout among daytime network shows converted to color, resulting in the first completely all-color network season. ❍❍❍ Formats and Genres ❍❍❍ See also: List of genres § Film and television formats and genres Television shows are more varied than most other forms of media due to the wide variety of formats and genres that can be presented. A show may be fictional (as in comedies and dramas), or non-fictional (as in documentary, news, and reality television). It may be topical (as in the case of a local newscast and some made-for-television films), or historical (as in the case of many documentaries and fictional MOVIE). They could be primarily instructional or educational, or entertaining as is the case in situation comedy and game shows.[citation needed] A drama program usually features a set of actors playing characters in a historical or contemporary setting. The program follows their lives and adventures. Before the 1980s, shows (except for soap opera-type serials) typically remained static without story arcs, and the main characters and premise changed little.[citation needed] If some change happened to the characters’ lives during the episode, it was usually undone by the end. Because of this, the episodes could be broadcast in any order.[citation needed] Since the 1980s, many MOVIE feature progressive change in the plot, the characters, or both. For instance, Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere were two of the first American prime time drama television MOVIE to have this kind of dramatic structure,[4][better source needed] while the later MOVIE Babylon 5 further exemplifies such structure in that it had a predetermined story running over its intendevd five-season run.[citvatio””&n needed] In 2007, it was reported that television was growing into a larger component of major media companies’ revenues than film.[5] Some also noted the increase in quality of some television programs. In 2007, Academy-Award-winning film director Steven Soderbergh, commenting on ambiguity and complexity of character and narrative, stated: “”I think those qualities are now being seen on television and that people who want to see stories that have those kinds of qualities are watching television. ❍❍❍ Thank’s For All And Happy Watching❍❍❍ Find all the movies that you can stream online, including those that were screened this week. gen:LOCK Review
Created by: Gray G. Haddock
People expected a webcomic or manga review today. But it was I, Exceedingly Relevant Review For Today! In honor of April 1st and all of Rooster Teeth’s content being free for the day, I am going to help sell you on why your choice for part of that day should be devoted to. And trust me, you definitely will want to check out this show if you are interested in mecha anime, war stories, or transhumanistic storylines. Yes, that last one is extremely jarring compared to the other two, but it is very much a key part of the show’s later episodes.
But, start at the beginning. Best place to start and all that. gen:LOCK is a 3D-animated show starring such people as Michael B Jordan, Maisie Williams, and Monica Rial. It takes place on a future Earth, one where we have two factions at war with each other:  the totalitarian-seeming Union, and the more open Polity. Michael B Jordan’s character, Julian Chase, is a fighter pilot for the Polity and the story picks up with him introducing his family to his fellow pilot and girlfriend Miranda Worth, voiced by Dakota Fanning. However, the Union launches a strike on New York City, forcing the pair to quickly gear up in order to help fight them off, with Chase in a jet and Miranda in a boxy, Battletech-style mech. And while they manage to perform an admirable defense, the Polity eventually gets pushed back due to the Union’s use of nanotech to literally dissolve any enemy soldiers. So, in a last ditch effort, Julian prepares an EMP and launches it to halt the nanites, sacrificing himself in the process.
That whole story, with a few more story beats to really add a personal tension for the characters and viewers, takes p-lace in the first half of the first episode. And you will likely spend the majority of that time with your eyes glued to the screen as you watch Julian and the rest of the Polity military desperately fight a retreating battle before you end up watching as the character you have just developed this attachment to sacrifice himself. But, again, that’s only the first half of the first episode. There is so much more yet.
After a timeskip of a few years, we rejoin Miranda and the Polity military as they continue to fight a losing war against the Union, only able to maintain a slowly advancing border between their two factions. The best they can do is hold the line and attempt to exfiltrate any Polity sympathizers that manage to cross the border. One such group sends a signal, sending Miranda and her team into action. But the pick-up turns into a trap, with Union soldiers and mechs blasting away at their airship and mechs until the majority are taken out. But before it can advance much further, a pair of strange humanoid mechs burst onto the scene, rapidly disabling the Union’s assault and allowing all of the Polity’s people to escape. Back at the base, we see these new mechs, called Holons, are a product of the Experimental Sciences Unit and that one is piloted by a familiar face: Julian Chase.
Now, here is where the transhumanistic element appears in the story: while Julian’s body is ruined from getting shot down in New York, it doesn’t affect his ability to pilot a Holon as they are controlled through a person uploading their mind into a cyberbrain in the Holon’s chest. And once there is more than one person operating a Holon, they are able to link minds and communicate with each other. Which, in the later episodes, advances beyond simply telling each other what’s going on and instead becomes the two people in question sharing certain aspects, whether that be knowledge, senses, or what they plan to do.
After this first episode is when we begin to get more focus on the characters who will pilot the Holons. Originally just Julian and Yasamin, they eventually get four more recruits in Cammie McCloud, Kazu Iida, Val/entina Romanyszyn, and Robert Sinclair. At this point, the show shifts from a heavy action focus to more character based, showing us how these characters think and interact with each other as they start training. And honestly, while the parts before this have been great, its the character moments like these where the show really sinks its hooks into you and keeps you wanting to watch more until you hit the end.
Not to say that the action after the first episode feels less awesome to watch. While the training exercises don’t make for the most exciting action scenes to grace cinema, the encounters the group has while in the field against a new union weapon called Nemesis are where it really picks up. See, Nemesis is a very Holon-esque weapon that has the added enhancement of the Union’s nanotech, allowing it to form extra limbs, create shields or weapons, or just simply use it to spear his opponents. And while it seems like the usual cliche “one side has the bitchin’ superweapon, so the other side somehow makes their own despite it being labelled as extra special”, the story developments in the later episodes and the reveal of what exactly is controlling Nemesis absolutely shatters the thought that this rival is a cliche.
I’ve been talking this long, but it appears I have neglected to talk about the animation. The animation for this show is pretty stellar. While you can definitely find the particular style of animation for the 3D models here slightly different to what you typically see, it is honestly on the same level as something like Netflix’s The Dragon Prince. While the action animation is very tight and focused for helping to convey the motion and impact of these giant robots absolutely beating the snot out of each other, the animation makes me truly feel for the show is the character animation in the more dialogue and character-focused scenes. Because all of the characters have small motions, shifts in their stance, and other tiny movements while they engage in these deep discussions. And those movements are what sell the scenes. Because while it would’ve been easier to have the characters simply go through the bigger motions to convey the emotions of the scene, its the smaller movements they do that are the actual thing to sell the emotion.
So yeah. While you might find issue with the story’s focus on combat over the amazing character scenes, or possibly with the story not going as high-flying as you want, gen:LOCK gives you a mecha anime that does more than most of the genre has ever done. And I fully expect the future seasons to get even better, especially with how many unique storylines the writers have available to explore.
Oh, and also, if this helps you get interested, Val/entina is a genderfluid person who regularly transitions between male and female. Because even when you are in a massive war, its easier to do all the things for that war when you are comfortable in your own skin.

The New Mutants and Its Nightmare on Elm Street Influences
https://ift.tt/2UAxmZ8
This article contains mild The New Mutants spoilers.
The New Mutants is an odd duck. The writing was on the wall back in 2017 when 20th Century Fox first pushed the film off its original 2018 release window. Apparently the delay was the result of the studio wanting to make it more of a horror movie via  reshootsâ€Ķ reshoots that then never happened.
Even so, those horror elements are still on bonkers display in Josh Boone’s final cut of the film, now available on  Blu-ray and VOD. Even without knowing Boone was vocal that the  Nightmare on Elm Street movies were cornerstone influences, it’s clear his mutant mayhem wants to live on the same block.
To be sure, these aspects are more muted than they should be, which is the result of the film’s biggest problem: tonal inconsistency. New Mutants veers wildly between young adult drama, youthful hijinks, and a nigh ‘80s slasher sensibility where very few characters actually get slashed. If reshoots had actually upped the horror quotient, this could fit nicely as a continuation of the Elm Street Kids’ travails. But even in its bizarre current form, there is something there to appreciate, particularly for fans of Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.
Nearly 40 years after Robert Englund first growled his way through a Freddy Krueger movie, many fans still think of the first Wes Craven-directed A Nightmare on Elm Street when they look back on that series. But for horror fans of a certain age, 1987’s Dream Warriors was the only Nightmare on Elm Street movie that mattered. It’s the one where Heather Langenkamp’s Nancy Thompson returned, and a gang of street-wise ‘80s teen movie archetypes found themselves locked in a mental hospital with Freddy picking them off one pun at a time. And as these victims found ways to fight back in their nightmares, they became the “Dream Warriors,” just as their film turned into a superhero movie with a body count.
The high concept of a monster fighting the Breakfast Club inside of Nurse Ratched’s hospital is still incredibly appealing today. And it’s emulated from top to bottom in The New Mutants. Not that Boone and his stars have exactly been coy about this fact; Dream Warriors has been name dropped by the filmmakers ever since the first trailer introduced us to the movie’s versions of Rhane Sinclair (Maisie Williams), Illyana Rasputin (Anya Taylor-Joy), Sam Guthrie (Charlie Heaton), Roberto da Costa (Henry Zaga), and Danielle Moonstar (Blu Hunt).
Even way back in 2017, Boone told Collider that Dream Warriors was one of New Mutants’ big influences. “I do love Dream Warriors,” Boone said at the time. “I loved the first [movie] as well, but this is very much a rubber reality horror movie for the first about 75% of the movie and then it becomes something else.”
And unlike many X-Men adjacent films, the characters from early New Mutants comics are more or less recognizable in their live-action forms here. Nevertheless, how they’re introduced is pure Dream Warriors.
After a dubious opening sequence in which Hunt’s Dani Moonstar survives a “tornado,” the young girl is committed to an isolated sanitarium along with other teenage mutants. Their chaperone Dr. Reyes (Alice Braga) swears they’re being groomed by an unseen benefactor who we’re led to believe is Charles Xavierâ€Ķ but her evasiveness about the details suggests something more sinister.
All the while, each of the kids is plagued by nightmares, both when they’re asleep and awake. And the waking terrors are of their worst fears come to life. So, yes, this is basically a Freddy movie without Freddy. That in itself could be viewed as damning, both to horror fanatics who want more thrills and superhero fans who like their popcorn buttered the same way every time, but even with its (many) foibles, there is charm in New Mutants’ rough edges. Here is a movie decidedly not a product of the all-too-familiar blockbuster assembly line.
For instance, Boone takes his Dream Warriors aesthetic and runs with it via multiple visual references and plotting echoes, all of which feel unnatural for its superpowered fantasy. In one early scene, a  character briefly entertains suicide while standing atop a menacing Gothic tower, not unlike how Freddy forced Phillip (Bradley Gregg) to throw himself from one in Dream Warriors, earning the label of “suicide” by other characters; in a more overt fashion, New Mutants’ Roberto sits in a wheelchair in another scene, just like the one Will (Ira Heiden) used in Dream Warriors; and the character is later seduced into a watery illusion by a dream girl who is not what she seems, a la Joey’s haphazard “wet dream,” as Freddy coins it, in the direct Dream Warriors sequel, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988).
All of these knowing nudges from Boone and his co-screenwriter Knate Lee are there for Freddy’s Children to catch. Yet they can also both improve and hinder New Mutants. In the plus column, they feel unusual and original for a movie about comic book characters; on the other side of the ledger, few of these “scares” actually go far enough to be frightening. Thus the movie feels strangely unfinished, even after spending years on a shelf. In fact, there are several scene transitions where you know something is missing from pickups that were never filmed.
And yet, that low-fi messy quality may add to its rough hewn, uneven charm for a certain set. Like all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, this isn’t high art. But the fact it goes for these horror moments with complete sincerity is kind of refreshing. Like Dream Warriors, New Mutants and its cast take their plight seriously, probably too much so. But after a decade of most superhero movies relying on a smug self-deprecation—a persistent invisible smirk at the camera which promises we know it’s nonsense—New Mutants’ emotional earnestness will appeal to a smaller cult audience.
In this vein, the strongest aspect of the film is likely any scene involving Williams’ Rahne and Hunt’s Dani. The former has the benefit of being played by the lone actor to nail her thick accent, as well as the rich horror trope of being a hard-believing Catholic. Like many a teenager from a religious home, Rahne fears Hell, which Bone and Lee’s screenplay embrace in the thematic sense with Rahne also being a glorified werewolf who fears her “evil” mutation.
In the more literal sense, Rahne also struggles with her attraction to Dani. It’s  a romance that doesn’t feel tacked on by a studio note or an afterthought for social media; like Boone’s earlier work, it’s presented as a sincere puppy love story. But even that has echoes in the Nightmare on Elm Street saga, with the second film, Freddy’s Revenge (1985) attempting to tell a subtextual gay love story–one full of shame and literal self-mutilation where the main character transforms into Freddy when he’s attracted to his buddy.
New Mutants does this element better by removing the “sub” in “subtext,” and the shame. Rather it commits to a sweet romance just as earnestly as it commits to a sequence where Rahne’s dead priest returns to haunt her with a demonic voice that sounds a lot like Freddy’s warble. Yet this, too, mirrors a locker room attack in Freddy’s Revenge.
Despite the tonal dissonance between these two elements both aspects embrace the LGBTQ+ undertones in X-Men comics better than most actual X-Men comics, and in their own way are reminiscent of how goofy ‘80s slasher movies could become comforting outlets for marginalized groups.

New Mutants: A Horror Version of The Breakfast Club

That New Mutants tackles these delicate aspects as brazenly (or some might say as tastelessly) as those ‘80s slashers is kind of wild. It also ensures that New Mutants will eventually find an audience. Perhaps not the audience who superhero movies are so methodically engineered for in the 21st century, nor in the mainstream commercial audience Fox almost quaintly thought this approach would appeal to. It certainly isn’t critics with the movie’s ungainly, batshit tendencies.
But as with Dream Warriors before it, here’s a film in which young people use superpowers to fight the man and topple authority while seeing each other in a way they, nor any superhero movie, has before. It gives this bloody mess teethâ€Ķ and claws.

The first television shows were experimental, sporadic broadcasts viewable only within a very short range from the broadcast tower starting in the 1930s. Televised events such as the 1935 Summer Olympics in Germany, the 19340 coronation of King George VI in the UK, and David Sarnoff’s famous introduction at the 1939 New York World’s Fair in the US spurred a growth in the medium, but World War II put a halt to development until after the war. The first national live television broadcast in the US took place on September 4, 2020 when President Harry Truman’s speech at the Japanese Peace Treaty Conference in San Francisco was transmitted over AT&T’s transcontinental cable and microwave radio relay system to broadcast stations in local markets.
The first national color broadcast (the 1954 Tournament of Roses Parade) in the US occurred on January 1, 1954. During the following ten years most network broadcasts, and nearly all local programming, continued to be in black-and-white. A color transition was announced for the fall of 1955, during which over half of all network prime-time programming would be broadcast in color. The first all-color prime-time season came just one year later. In 19402, the last holdout among daytime network shows converted to color, resulting in the first completely all-color network season.
❍❍❍ Formats and Genres ❍❍❍

Television shows are more varied than most other forms of media due to the wide variety of formats and genres that can be presented. A show may be fictional (as in comedies and dramas), or non-fictional (as in documentary, news, and reality television). It may be topical (as in the case of a local newscast and some made-for-television films), or historical (as in the case of many documentaries and fictional MOVIE). They could be primarily instructional or educational, or entertaining as is the case in situation comedy and game shows.[citation needed]
A drama program usually features a set of actors playing characters in a historical or contemporary setting. The program follows their lives and adventures. Before the 2020s, shows (except for soap opera-type serials) typically remained static without story arcs, and the main characters and premise changed little.[citation needed] If some change happened to the characters’ lives during the episode, it was usually undone by the end. Because of this, the episodes could be broadcast in any order.[citation needed] Since the 2020s, many MOVIE feature progressive change in the plot, the characters, or both. For instance, Hill Street Blues and St. Elsewhere were two of the first American prime time drama television MOVIE to have this kind of dramatic structure,[4][better source needed] while the later MOVIE Babylon 5 further exemplifies such structure in that it had a predetermined story running over its intendevd five-season run.[citvatio””&n needed]
In 2020, it was reported that television was growing into a larger component of major media companies’ revenues than film.[5] Some also noted the increase in quality of some television programs. In 2020, Academy-Award-winning film director Steven Soderbergh, commenting on ambiguity and complexity of character and narrative, stated: “”I think those qualities are now being seen on television and that people who want to see stories that have those kinds of qualities are watching television.

actors (men) or actresses (women). In such a scenario, streaming movies online is left as an option as it helps you not only save time and money but also make things convenient. Imagine life when you get to watch movies at your fingertips and for free. Watch a movie, drama or a serial. All of it at your comfort. Along with that, complete information about TV shows is present on the site. That information is based on IMDB rating, director, release date, duration, synopsis of the episode, and cast. In short, it is regarded as one of the best websites to watch TV shows as well as movies from different origins. Film is a work of art in the form of a series of live images that are rotated to produce an illusion of moving images that are presented as a form of entertainment. The illusion of a series of images produces continuous motion in the form of video. The film is often referred to as a movie or moving picture. Film is a modern and popular art form created for business and entertainment purposes. Film making has now become a popular industry throughout the world, where feature films are always awaited by cinemas. Films are made in two main ways. The first is through shooting and recording techniques through film cameras. This method is done by photographing images or objects. The second uses traditional animation techniques. This method is done through computer graphic animation or CGI techniques. Both can also be combined with other techniques and visual effects. Filming usually takes a relatively long time. It also requires a job desk each, starting from the director, producer, editor, wardrobe, visual effects and others.
Definition and Definition of Film / Movie While the players who play a role in the film are referred to as actors (men) or actresses (women).
❍❍❍ TV FILM ❍❍❍ The first television shows were experimental, sporadic broadcasts viewable only within a very short range from the broadcast tower starting in the 1930s. Televised events such as the 1936 Summer Olympics in Germany, the 19340 coronation of King George VI in the UK, and David Sarnoff’s famous introduction at the 2020 New York World’s Fair in the US spurred a growth in the medium, but World War II put a halt to development until after the war.
