Okay so, couple things. First off, apparently the Fire and Thunder Gods were never called that??? Idk why I thought they were, but apparently their names are literally just Firebrand and Thunderhand and they’re described as genies or guardian spirits hdfbjdcbkdvb. I don’t care though, I’m still calling them gods.

And second, the very little info we have on them states that the Fire God has been in seclusion for 3000 years and has lost all his memories. Putting this together with other headcanons I have, and I now know that apparently Rosalina has been in space for 3000 years.

#devin speaks #super mario headcanons #see cause the fire god was still in the koopa kingdom while the borealis kingdom was active #rosie went into space and the fire god left the koopa kingdom some time after so she mustve been in space for 3000 years #the mushroom kingdom definitely didnt form immediately after the borealis kingdom fell so some time mustve passed between that #maybe a few hundred years?#like maybe when rosie first came back to the planet after 100 years she saw that her kingdom was gone #and then the next hundred years comes and she sees the toad and goomba populations rising #and then another hundred years comes and the goombas and toads are fighting #then another hundred and the mushroom kingdom has formed #and another hundred and now the mushroom and koopa kingdoms are at war #so like… somewhere around 400 years pass #then the kingdoms are at war for the next 2600 years or so #yeah that makes sense #thats why both kingdoms start to decline #they start getting tired after expending so many resources on this long ass war plus they get some pretty bad rulers in the end there #luckily peach and bowser bring their respective kingdoms back to their metaphorical feet
