new overwatch hero isn't necessarily bad but it's very interesting how blizzactivision portrays the white scottish punk that wants to "tear down the system" as vaguely heroic, but the large former-monk omnic—who has seen and witnessed discrimination and hate-crimes firsthand—that wants to "tear down the system" is seen as misguided and even villainous.

#also hazard's story has the brief 'no one cares about veterens' schtick #which again isn't BAD on its own but it's interesting how that's one of the few angles we're allowed to look at the broken system #like what about a black vet? what about an OMNIC vet?#what about a black or omnic ANYTHING ELSE LMAO #'the system is broken' and they're a white man like i'm so sick of that DFKBNDFKB #and then ofc he has black and omnic side characters that help him and uplift him like ofc he does #overwatch 2
