seeing all of pierre poilievre’s insane shit ramping up even more lately is going to make my head explode. if people vote him in we are so fucked. like. in alberta, we’ve already been so fucked by having a provincial conservative gov since i was in highschool. and that was with a liberal federal gov.

so conservative federal gov under poilievre *and* alberta provincial gov under danielle smith?? Horrifying like holy shit as if danielle alone hadn’t fucked over literally everything in Alberta so badly

#sittting here like #cost of living in alberta is already insane #and its only going to get worse if pierre gets in #like the fucking. energy deregulation is insane #our power bill recently jumped up by more than 4x what it used to be #like the power is almost as much as rent which is. insane #like its at the point where ive been working my ass off to clear out & det uo an old shed/barn thing here so that dad and i can set up a #generator because that is going to be cheaper thanntypical power esp since we can just shut the power off entirely when we arent using it #<- all of this is in the context of a farm not like setting up a generator in town LMAO #its just like. i am already so stretched thin about so much i need pierre to Fuck Off and stay out of office #especially re: the amount of environmental deregulation he WILL do in alberta #like ive read through the proposals that conservatives want to force thru in here #with gina reinhardt’s stupid fucking company #and its the sort of shit that its like #it would devastate the groundwater from the mountains to here. and weve ALREADY been in a drought #it would be unprecedented levels of environmental disaster in this area #esp since the alberta conservatives dont give a single fuck about the environment here and neither does pierre #and then neither does the *australian* mining company that’s involved with this shit #anyway i just need pierre to stay the fuck out #and i wish rachel notley hadnt made such a bad name for the NDP esp in alberta #because then MAYBE we would have more of a chancr at federal ndp gov
