i've been making a stupid dedication of effort in matching the titles of the violent sun chapters to songs that so specifically fit the circumstances happening in them. i think my favourite match i've made so far has to be sticks & stones just because of this line

#violent sun #the dialogue was originally a countdown from three to one but i changed it last minute to fit the lyrics #this chapter was placeholder named 'title pending' right up until i was just about to post it bc i was stumped on what song to name it after #and then jonsi came in with the steel chair on my spotify shuffle with this banger #i hope some of you in the future end up recognising song names as chapter titles #and get a fourth-wall sense of what's about to go down #because i would love nothing more than a reader of violent sun to see a chapter name and go oh😦
