Jason Todd is an overdramatic overachiever, every time I see him portrayed as lazy or reckless or undisciplined or not as smart as the other Bats or or or basically anything but hypercompetent and overprepared I want to SCREAM. I see things all the time that paint Tim as the guy who has a bunch of contingency plans and contingency plans for his contingency plans, but if you ask me that is way more Jason’s wheelhouse.

Jason Todd is pragmatic and quick-witted and picks up skills and knowledge so fast, soaks them up like a sponge, puts his all into everything he does, he’s a mastermind, he’s a prodigy, he’s an expert strategist, he’s razor-sharp, he outwits the goddamn Batman on the fly like it’s nothing! Jason Todd is a man who learned from the top-most experts of all sorts of different fields, mastered all of those fields in the span of year, and surpassed all of his teachers, as a teenager!

I just think he’s neat. I like him a normal amount.
