Currently rewatch if 3rd life but from Martyn’s perspective and man… I chose the best pov rotation
First Grian who wins but isn’t allied with anyone else that I’ve watched the pov of (quite suspicious of Etho and allied with Martyn for one episode then straight out enemies)
Then Etho who honestly is just chilling, got abandoned because his allies got bored at the village and tried to ally with both major powers but ended up siding with the one that offered him real benefits and not just friendship points (on good terms with Grian until the desert people shoot him down for just being on their land, allied fully with Martyn and Dogwarts)
And finally Martyn who is mostly trolling people or trying to play the game to be on everyone’s good side until finally resolving to go full hand to the king with Ren (thought for way too many episodes that Grian was still into the diamond sword alliance and barely interacted until war broke, allied with Etho but fully did not trust and expected him to betray him at all times)
The conclusion here, as an Etho girl, is that Etho was just chilling and everyone was just like, “hmmm he’s up to something,” and man’s was oblivious to it all
#3rd life smp#3rd life martyn#ethoslab#grian#martyn inthelittlewood#it’s just hilarious#why does this happen to Etho in every season of the life series#that’s his true advantage#everyone just expects him to be up to something#that even if he isn’t he can influence their decisions#imagine having that much power#just bc your name is known#mans didn’t even want to use a shield at the beginning bc he didn’t like the new pvp mechanics#he was literally just breeding villagers and making his swamp home#and then impulse got full credit and ownership of the villagers and betrayed Etho#ahhhhh#I want to dramatize this sooo bad
