not to be dramatic but i am losing my GODDAMN MIND
#i have been sitting here for hours and i still#cannot decide. if i want to take the philo phil unit next year or particle phys or stellar evolution#and then i still need to pick between environmental phys or high energy astro and ngl both look absolutely fucking vile#i have vaguely sussed my other choices but i am so so lost#the philosophy one looks so fucking cool it is centred on relativity and quantum mech#but it's a philo unit. and i have no experience in taking philosophy exams even if it is open to physicists#+ idek if high energy vs enviro is the right toss up to be making like should i be going#for analytical mechanics or theoretical instead i thought not bc Was Not Vibing but IDK#SOMEHOW on top of all this i have to pick apply for my final year projects and dissertations and i am absolutely losing it because how! am#i equipped to make these decisions! i don't know shit i feel like i was a fresher last week and suddenly i'm picking my final year project??#idk the imposter syndrome is kicking my ass i’m so afraid of making the wrong decision because i’m worried abt being too stupid to do l#lmfao i texted elia asking for his advice at 00.28am bc he’s a philo-phys student#and he has just replied going ‘i think you should do it’#Thank You For Your Wise Advice Sir#‘plus you don’t like physics and it’ll be a nice escape’ LMFAO DRAG ME#hm now he is distracting me by being cute sir shut up i cannot kiss u for another 6 months so#he's just sent a bunch for very reassuring and helpful paragraphs n it was the push i needed OK one decision made i am gonna go with#the philosophy unit#what is absolutely hysterical is that all the ones i am picking are like. straying from pure physics as much as humanly possible#which just shows How Tired I Am#i love the subject but it's all just getting a bit much now#'optoelectronic devices and systems' WHOMST would want to study that it's literally engineering
