lord forgive me i’m back on my kfad2 bullshit
#so. i was thinking about the fundamental difference between video game osts & actual produced band song things.#and then i get to thinking about mariya takeuchi vs dj professor k. the finalists. how one's a pure music producer real person#and the other's setlist was all basically combinations of real radio songs & video game ost content.#i'm not salty about dj k's victory & the takeover was goddam incredible no i'd be a fool to deny that. i was a mariya supporter though#personally i'm just amazed that such a comparatively avant-garde musician managed to do so well in a bideo game competition. honestly#maybe that shows me a different side of the SiIva fanbase. or maybe it's a testament to how much incredible effort went into kfad2#like dear lord even beyond the amazing music the writing the artwork the composition of goddam everything was spectacular#i fell in love with missingno & hobart & mariya & weird al & solid snake and everyone else. there was so so much good stuff#and they did it for no pay whatsoever! pure fan inspiration! not to be emotional about SiIvagunner of all things on main but sometimes#i'm just. in awe of how much undeniable effort & High Quality content comes out of this silly little nonprofit meme channel#i'm so glad to be a part of it. i'm so glad that by just being around for it all & spectating i can be part of the SiIva community#i'm not one of the people who comments on every video or submits songs or explains the joke or does art or anything#but i'm a fan of it all i'm there to watch it go down i get to be there for the prof. k takeover livestream. and i'm just. in love the whole#damn time. the whole goddam memey silly annoying blue-ballsy unsynced massive hiatuses dva rip time. in love#tis i#SiIvagunner#kfad2#bet none of y'all saw me soliloquizing about kfad2 coming didja? today's been a wack day alright#admittedly unspecific dialogue
