okay i just want to take a moment to appreciate how fucking insane lisa braeden is. like i didn’t appreciate it when i was younger but holy shit this guy she had a weekend fling with almost a decade ago shows up and then she finds out monsters exist when one almost kills her son and this dude hunts them?!? and the dude just fucks off again only to show up on her doorstep again a couple years later like “hey the apocalypse is happening, see ya.” and then he shows up A THIRD TIME a few weeks later and has extra man pain baggage from his brother dying to avert the apocalypse and she’s just like “yeah sure you can live here now. i guess this makes us a couple.”

like WHERE ARE HER FRIENDS??? i swear if one of my friends was like “yeah this guy i slept with ten years ago just showed up at my house and now we’re dating and he lives with me and my son.” I would be like “is he holding you hostage??? are you okay??? what the fuck, lisa???” like she may be pretending to be a normal suburban mom now but clearly she never got over her taste for danger phase
