being latina and not a good dancer is truly. an ordeal
#breaking my silence#i mean for starters every foreign person i've ever know and/or talked to immediately assumes i know how to dance expertly#which. no#my body is clumsy and far from coordinated#i've made peace with it truly but it is tiring to have to correct the assumption#and then even my extended latin american family also assumes that i enjoy dancing amd actively do it#which again. no#sooo going to parties and quinces and weddings and whatnot is always. difficult#i have to avoid a lot of ppl and then when i do have to eventually dance a couple of times with cousins and friends etc it's stressful#and like i don't hate dancing or anything. i'm just the kind of person who does it privately so that i can move like a bunch of sticks#and not feel judged#sigh anyway#that's today's vent post#sara talks nonsense
