• ziggurat is damian’s uncle on his dad’s side

• damian has never known his mom and no one will tell him shit about her

• his aforementioned father ,,, fucking SUCKS

the guy’s trash bag dog water SHIT

• he hates his uncle but he LOATHES his dad and wants both of them dead

• he prefers to stay with ziggurat over his dad cuz at least ziggurat wants him

(albeit for selfish “conditional love” reasons—at least he doesn’t hurt him, at least he isn’t left on the ground heaving and hurting from being thrown against the wall, at least he isn’t berated and punched for merely speaking)
