OKAY I found my notebook so I didn’t have to put it in a napkin but. BUT
CHAINSAW MAN AU FRESNO BABYYYY I got it down finally after mulling it over my head for 50000 years and inspired from @sugar-grigri’s incredible write up on how a love devil would look like/function which was genius and absolutely helped with doing the connections that were missing and also taking elements from @krokaxe’s genesis Fresno design that still lives in my head rent free it’s so good
it's due a lot of retooling to make it feel Complete and not just like sketchy wip but it's perfect for now and maybe ill see to pulling it together
they’re the love. Fiend? Host? Hybrid? Something like that. They have a lot going on and I’m genuinely just going to throw up like 50000 lines about their design that is (more or less) wip since I still have to design the butterfly wing design since I didn’t have any proper ideas atm and see if I cram anymore heart motifs in there BUT. It’s here and I am sooo excited to ramble about it. Under the cut for everyone’s sake :3 also chainsaw man spoilers. smile
SO. i definitely did want to make fresno the love devil because they are ofc afraid of love and attachment and i love beating them with the irony stick so love devil/love fiend it was, msotly because they have extremely complicated feelings towards love and attachment because they both crave it and are scared of it, and with me reading on i figured going with a fiend/host situation would be fun. in the storyline in my head the love devil, a primal fear either pulls a pochita and escapes hell or lets itself be cut down to reincarnate into the world, maybe seeking this idea of like. experiencing how Humans Do and it's the idea of like, dying to be humanized but also struggling with it
which is very funny because fresno is the worst person they could have encountered for that, in my head its maybe like a contract maybe like a fiend takeover, but it's a little more arai/violence than asa/yoru, something something union/fusion/togetherness but i'm getting ahead of myself. fresno is deeply afraid and skittish of love and affection and also bugs. because ever since tma i want to torture them a little with the corruption just 4 laffs. so maybe the contract goes awry or it merges them
so a lot of the design is pulling from genesis which is kind of a personal bad end for fresno since it's a lot like. marriage. union. but kind of like a bitter idolization of like this like "wife"/virgin image that they come to hate, so the crown/chain halo. the chain halo is kind of pulling a motif from other pieces that i just kinda imagined since they are in the legion but uhhh love & control. iykyk. i figured that it was a good base to start with though i was split with going with the idea of maybe more classical devil since demons/devils are one of their Themes but then i thought nah lets beat them with the irony stick more. so they're angelic looking BUT with a broken halo completed with a chain. union. marriage. fusion. a middle ground between them
the butterfly motif really tied it all together though that FUCKS. mostly because fujimoto's fiend designs are simplistic but in a way that's kinda hard to nail down and i think tying the design to expressions is so cool and it added like entire layers of complexity to it all because like, butterflies in your stomach, but also butterflies also drink blood, love is blind and i didn't illustrate it but they're supposed to have the eye camo some butterflies have (its also why the butterfly wings are backwards) and also, heart motifs and their own personal gripes because fresno HATES being seen as weak and butterflies are very fragile.
Tumblr media
maybe behind the wings they also have tears as a genesis element as well. hmm much to think about. i also wondered if they'd look too silly but i mean, yoru.
Tumblr media
so maybe they can look a little silly. or maybe make the eyes ringed like the horsemen because. well. gay shit. they don't have eyes for anyone else.
the veil connecting their crown is also like vaguely "insect wing" looking but also heart looking. also i liked the idea of either some live butterflies or butterfly decorations on them so they didn't look so plain. their hair is also like, Iconic so i wanted to push that so the curls are vaguely heart looking, it's a little overshadowed by the butterfly sketch lines but there's at least a few i tried to put in.
in my head they do have the powers of like, blindness, frenzy, control (lol), but another i imagine would be the idea to give and take love, like imagine. for example. if you were a person that hadn't experienced love in a meaningful way and then you just like Feel it. all of it. love and warmth and togetherness in the blindest, purest, most unconditional way beamed directly into your head and then. it's gone. forever. unless...
the idea of fixation and people being fixated on them is also one of their Themes and like, in the vaf suspended in gaffa/mama animatic that exists only in my head the idea of like control devil (not the canon ones. in this one it's a whole other guy) being attracted to love first for power (since love and control DO go together in some scenarios) but also falling victim to their power as well is funny and i like that, and idea of losing yourself to another, where does one begin and the other end is like. well. incredibly up my alley. also just like getting the taste of something you've never experienced yourself but also twisted in its own way (in my head, there's the lyric in suspended in gaffa of "not till i'm ready for you" which is the singer addressing this like, higher power of something they want to have/see (in the song it's implied to be a glimpse of god) and they would have to work for their reward, but taking that and changing it into the speaker being the higher power addressing the singer feels like the type of shakeup that would be going thru a control's lens maybe. also using the idea of a transforming devil maybe a secondary power of transformation (haha, butterflies also represent that/reincarnation) as a loved one OR. the Potential of them as a loved one. fresno has the terrible luck of attracting people who love/value them for what they Can be or what they Could have been, and having the butterfly maybe swap designs or transform or be blank could be something like that. wanting someone to see behind the curtain, not shy away from who they Really Are Right Now. consider that another stick
there's also the aspect of union/fusion/togetherness tha i just. love. so i had to do it. something about tying together two beings, till death do us part, maybe the creation of a whole new thing since i'm insane and would like to tie the vaflings into it because of course i would
i think there would be a whole struggle of being afraid of what you represent/embody and acceptance and a lot of other things.
this turned out to be like a massive rambling thing SORRYYYYY i like talking about this a lot if you've read this far thank you and you havent thank you regardless. i'm soooo glad and excited to have a proper design to put in the grinder now

You know I saw you talk about the DLC Spark hunter being beta Edge and that made me think.
On a technical level beta Edge/beta Spark hunters would be the title of Lava queen and BWario and Bwaluigi.
Those three where the first creation the MegaBug (that later becomes Cursa) made herself.
It’s something I think about often that I just think is interesting
OK, this ended up being a long answer haha.
This is true, they were definitely some early attempts by the Megabug at creating its own minions! However, there are a couple key differences:
2) taking into account the above, they are likely to be fusions/merges with some existing rabbid, rather than creations from scratch made via DNA and other elements like the Spark Hunters were. In fact I think Bwaluigi was probably ALREADY a Smasher because otherwise there's no reason for the ideas of normal rabbid + Waluigi to end up looking like he did. (this also leads us to ask what exactly they were merged with, as we know the original heroes were from merchandise/figurines in a universe where the Mario world is considered fiction. It's possible Bwa&Bwa were made during the Basement Incident too as apparently Rabbid Rosalina also was, and Rabbid Cranky, so we don't necessarily see everyone who was created in that moment in the original cutscene, but I do think it likely they were made later in the Mushroom Kingdom itself, probably with some of the actual Wario and Waluigi's possessions.)
1) since IIRC the Megabug had already captured Spawny by the time any of these enemies appear, it likely was manipulating Spawny to merge things rather than working exclusively through its own powers,
This makes sense as the Megabug was more of a force of nature at this time; according to the memory Rosalina left us, it didn't gain more sentience and creativity until later, when it also developed its own identity as Cursa. So simple fusions are what it could do. The Lava Queen was probably an existing Valkyrie as well.
Bwario and Bwaluigi are, much like the Hero Rabbids themselves, pretty far from being just Rabbid versions of their counterparts, and the Lava Queen has her sassy and flirtatious personality. I would imagine Cursa would look back on these early creations and realize mere fusions would bring their existing personalities and therefore be very hard to control; even if "normal" rabbids appear to be kind of blank slates to an outside observer, they clearly still have their individuality, which is why the Heroes are their own characters with their own personalities, i.e. Rabbid Peach is herself and not just "Peach in a Rabbid's body" or whatever. They took on some superficial aspects of their counterparts but are also counterbalanced by all the ways they are different.
Cursa is all about control and domination and we know that her intention was to create things with just enough free will to do a competent job at what they were designed to do. Looking back at those early attempts was probably an impetus for Cursa to start creating things out of DNA rather than finding an existing live rabbid to fuse with. If our DLC Spark Hunter is indeed rabbid DNA + a Chain Chomp, or a Bob-Omb, maybe Cursa thought that would be ok due to the lower level of sapience of those things (Chain Chomps are like dogs and Bob-Ombs are sometimes portrayed as being more mechanistic or lacking in individuality and factory produced... at least some of them... although that varies widely from game to game). But that still wasn't enough and resulted in a volatile and rebellious being, and then Cursa is like OK FINE NEXT I'M DOING LIKE. A ROCK. A CHILL FOG. A BASIC ASS NON SENTIENT PLANT. LET'S SEE THESE THINGS ABANDON ME!
Since a large part of this game's thesis is that you can't actually control people and we see even artificial intelligence gaining emotions and will over time, I think Cursa's mission was always doomed to fail. Based on some other discussions, for instance, it's likely a big reason that at least Midnite and Bedrock didn't rebel like Edge, was not because they simply didn't have the capacity to, but out of fear. Daphne I would also surmise stays loyal not because it's built into her, but out of choice (she is genuinely pretty ruthless herself, and likely enjoys the favoritism as she proves herself the most competent and dangerous hunter after Edge left).
Ok I kinda went all over the place with this answer but I hope you enjoy and that it all makes sense, I JUST LOVE FAN-THEORIZING SO MUCH

Last Monday of the Week 2023-01-09
Back at it again at the [DATA EXPUNGED]
Listening: Vienna Teng, who I encountered in a fancam for industrial society set to Landsailor someone posted on here. Here it is:
youtube
Landsailor is good, Hymn to Breaking Strain vibes but from a more civilian perspective, it also has some great names for shit, my favourite being "lawbreaker" for heat pumps. Absolutely incredible.
Reading: Halfway through Fugitive Telemetry, I forgot I had it after I finished Network Effect and anyway, Network Effect was good but kinda too long to spend with Murderbot, the short story format definitely fits it better. I do like how it opens with a Murder(bot) Mystery.
Watching: Watched Scott Pilgrim vs. The World for the first time. It's fun to watch something that is so very of its time. A lot like Clerks in that I watched it way later but I can imagine that had my friends and I seen it back in high school we'd all have been insufferably quoting it at each other the way we did Pirates of the Caribbean. Being vegan just makes you better than other people.
The material is. Fine, I knew it was a Manic Pixie Dreamgirl-focussed movie but I had somehow not realized it had the whole evil exes thing. The parts are greater than the whole.
Making: Marathon cooking session for my dad's birthday, preparing a large set of meals with the added bonus of not having electricity for two hours in the middle of the day. Turned out fine. Ovens are great for preparing large quantities of food quickly, you can do a lot of prep up front and the oven is pretty predictable.
Playing: Started but have not finished An Airport for Aliens Currently Run By Dogs, a comedy fetch quest game by Xalavier Nelson Jr. et al, which is about maintaining your long distance relationship with your fiance while being the last two humans in the universe by meeting up in various airports (for aliens (currently run by dogs)).
The basic game loop is that you have A Place you need to get to to meet your fiance or a specific dog, and you can do that by getting a ticket and finding your way to the appropriate terminal. But the airport is entirely written in a made up substitution cipher so until you learn that you're trying to get around from context clues in increasingly bizarre airports. You often have to get Things for different dogs to get them to help you and eventually get your flight, so you have to figure out the right chain of stores to go to to get your flight on time.
It's fun, it's not that long as far as I'm aware, and it is a nice little thing to have to do. I've been playing it in the mornings before work pretty often.
Tools and Equipment: Slowly setting up Linux on my new laptop, as previously mentioned AMD hasn't put out sensor fusion hub drivers for these Renoir CPU's so while I am pursuing that, I have to have some way to do tablet things in the meantime. Enter lisgd(1).
lisgd(1) is a gesture recognition daemon that works with touchscreens. You can configure (through a config.def.h or through command line flags) a set of gestures and commands for them to execute. I've now set up gestures to control volume and screen brightness as well as to enable and disable the keyboard and rotate the screen for tablet mode stuff. Between that you can replicate all the things the sensor fusion hub is meant to be doing.
There are other ways to do gesture recognition but this one has good tuning options and is pretty platform agnostic. You can do things like very carefully adjust how long a gesture has to be to be recognized or what deviation from the ideal angle will still be picked up.
I'll probably end up writing or finding a little panel utility that will make brightness and volume control simpler, maybe even include the rotation settings there too, but for now this works well enough. That panel will still get triggered by a gesture, so lisgd(1) is going to be load bearing.

Why Foreigner Should Visit Delhi Once in Life?
Namaste (Greetings) to all the foreigners! As a frequent traveler and Delhi resident, I'm often asked by foreigners if Delhi is worth visiting. My answer is always a resounding YES! As one of the world's oldest capital cities, Delhi offers a unique blend of history, culture, food, and hospitality that makes it an essential stop on any Indian itinerary.
In this blog, I'll highlight the top reasons why foreigners should visit Delhi at least once and provide tips to make the most of your time here. Also, explained how you can get a bike on rent in Delhi and roam around the city. Get ready for an incredible immersion into the heart of incredible India. Read this blog till the end.
Reason 1: Immerse Yourself in History
As the capital of several ancient empires, Delhi is built on thousands of years of history. From the time of the Indus Valley civilization to the Mughal Empire to British colonial rule, Delhi has been an important political and cultural center for millennia.
The incredible history here is visible through the many monuments and ruins scattered across the city. A must-see is Old Delhi, founded by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639. Wander through narrow alleyways to the magnificent Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Just opposite, you can climb the minaret of the Red Fort for breathtaking views of Old Delhi.
Make time to visit Humayun's Tomb, a precursor to the Taj Mahal built in the 16th century. The Qutub Minar, India's tallest brick minaret, is another awe-inspiring remnant of Delhi's medieval legacy. Trust me, history buffs could spend weeks exploring Delhi's ancient treasures.
Reason 2: Experience Delhi's Vibrant Cultural Scene
Delhi isn't just about old monuments - it has a modern, cosmopolitan side as well! Delhi has a thriving cultural scene with countless festivals, events, performing arts, handicraft emporiums, and Michelin-starred restaurants to experience.
In February, Delhi hosts its famous International Kite Festival where the sky above India Gate is dotted with colorful kites. Come October, the city is lit up for Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights.  The best way to dive into Delhi's cultural spirit is just to walk through its chaotic bazaars like Chandni Chowk, Janpath, and Sarojini Nagar.
Make sure to catch a Bollywood film in one of Delhi's old cinema halls. Check events listings for classical Indian dance and music performances, usually free and open to the public. Delhi's cultural scene will amaze you with its diversity and liveliness.’
Reason 3: Eat Your Heart Out
Foodies Rejoice - Delhi is a paradise for those who love to eat! From street food to gourmet restaurants, Delhi's food culture reflects its diversity.
For budget eats, Old Delhi is the place to indulge in authentic chole bhature, parathas, curries, and lassi. The area around Connaught Place and Paharganj has backpacker cafes cooking Continental fare. Head to the food stalls in Chandni Chowk market to try jalebis, samosas, kebabs, and more.
If you prefer sit-down meals, Delhi has it all. Try a traditional thali at chain restaurants like Rajdhani or Sagar Ratna. For a modern twist, check out the fusion restaurants in Hauz Khas Village and Shahpur Jat. Of course, don't miss the kebabs at Karim's and the butter chicken at Moti Mahal.
With so many culinary delights, Delhi will tingle your taste buds like nowhere else.
Reason 4: Cruise Through Delhi on Two Wheels
One of my favorite things to do in Delhi is to experience it on a bike rental in Delhi! Delhi has plenty of picturesque routes perfect for cycling.
A great place to start is to get a bike on rent in Delhi and ride around India Gate and Rajpath. Escape the city noise by cycling through the tranquil Lodhi Gardens dotted with Mughal-era tombs. For more adventure, get a bike rental in Delhi to the Karni Singh Shooting Range with greenery and peacocks.
You need an operator like Rentnhop offer guided cycling tours of Old and New Delhi. Rentals typically cost around Rs. 300-500 per day. I recommend getting geared or fixed-gear bikes suitable for Delhi's road conditions.
Zipping through Delhi's wide roads and narrow gullies by bike on rent in Delhi gives you a sense of freedom and connection you won't get otherwise.
Reason 5: Experience Delhi's Legendary Hospitality
Lastly, Delhiites are renowned for their warm hospitality, which makes any visit feel special. Locals will invite you for chai, give recommendations, and help you get anywhere you need to go. Don't be surprised if you make friends for life over shared stories and laughter!
The best place to experience Delhi's hospitality is in its many friendly guesthouses located in neighborhoods like Paharganj, Connaught Place, and Nizamuddin West. Rather than staying in a big hotel, I highly recommend trying a family-run guesthouse to get a local perspective.
With amazing people, Delhi will truly feel like your home away from home.
Conclusion
As you can see, India's capital has so much to offer visitors beyond the stereotypes. From ancient sites to delectable foods to cultural experiences, Delhi provides a one-of-a-kind journey through India's rich traditions coexisting seamlessly with the modern. The next time you plan a trip to India, be sure to include a few days to explore the incredible diversity of experiences waiting for you in Delhi. Let us know if you have any other questions - related to bike rental in Delhi.

Ohhh gotcha! that all makes sense. And heck yeah I'd love any sort of spin-off comic that gives us a closer look at the power of Herrschers in daily life! It's the sort of thing that's niche enough to be worth its own bit of lore but also side-content that doesn't have to be crammed into the main story.
Though I'd think Mei would actually be a better fit for the fusion-powers Herrscher. For instance, afaik a lot of modern nuclear fusion research primarily uses magnets/electromagnets to hold the ionized plasma within a containment vessel.
More nerding-out below the cut VVV
Research reactors tend to use Tokamak designs, but a simpler example is the magnetic mirror: using two opposing magnets whose fields overlap in just the right way such that an ionized particle will always be redirected back-and-forth in the chamber without being able to escape through the walls.
Tumblr media
And since the visible part of lightning is plasma formed by air that gets ionized by the electric discharge, then it's easy to infer that Mei should be capable of both forming and then holding plasma with her Herrscher powers.
Of course, that depends on her being capable of understanding her power well enough to form magnetic fields accurately and precisely. It also assumes she can output enough energy to form enough plasma to begin a fusion process, and then hold the field together long enough to get an energy surplus out of the reaction. IRL this takes incredibly expensive and powerful equipment and facilities, but Herrschers can do whatever they want so I do think Mei could learn how to accomplish this herself.
However, another problem is that for a nuclear reactor to make useful power, the energy needs to be translated into some form of electric generation- typically heating water to form steam to drive turbines. So really, the only Herrscher that could actually make nuclear reactors would Bronya since she could just think up and materialize a reactor design.
Presumably Mei, and maybe HoV, could start a nuclear chain reaction that could act as the ignition of a nuclear bomb. That'd be a lot harder though, because they'd have to somehow control the reaction in question from a safe enough distance that they don't get immediately vaporized, lol
As for the power that Mei can output, I think we can approximate that fairly well. If we can figure out how much power Mei can output then we can compare that to a modern research reactor like ITER to see how Mei's power compares. Though of course, this is all rough estimates.
Disclaimer: I am an artist, not a physicist, so please take these estimations with a grain of salt! I'm also citing Wikipedia because I'm not gonna go so far as to quote scientific papers and do intense calculations to verify all my work.
TL;DR: Using the estimate of a lightning bolt containing 1 gigajoule of energy, we can figure out the power of Mei's lightning attacks- and more specifically, the attack she unleashes on Hyperion in the Nagazora manga.
Doing the math, Mei might be delivering lightning strikes with more than 10,000 times the power of a nuclear aircraft carrier, or more than 4,000 times the heat output of ITER.
As a bonus, we can also use this to calculate Hyperion's power: Hyperion's reactor can generate about 1 France's worth of electrical(?) power.
To my knowledge there's only one example of Honkai energy being given concrete units in HI3rd, which is in Chapter 3 when Theresa is describing the traits of the Selene battleship.
Tumblr media
According to Theresa, "Hyperion's Honkai Reactor has a max output of 1380 HW. The Selene has an output of 12000 HW." She then says the most powerful Schicksal reactor has an output of 1500 HW, and that in the 3rd Eruption (Mei in Nagazora) the Hyperion took a hit from the Herrscher that measured 3200 HW. Presumably HW means Honkai-Watt.
Basically, IRL Watts measure power or radiant flux. That is, energy per unit of time. For example, a kilowatt is 1000 watts, and that means that 1000 joules per second.
Since watts measure energy per unit of time, you multiple watt by a measure of time to get the resulting energy. Just like you take 60 miles an hour and multiply it by 2 hours to get a distance-traveled of 120 miles, you can take 1 watt (equivalent to 1 joule per second) and multiply it by the number of seconds to get the resulting number of joules output.
A common household measure of power is Kilowatt-hours, so applying that logic means that a kilowatt-hour is 1000 watt-hours, with a watt-hour being 1 watt per second for 3600 second = 60 minutes = 1 hour.
If Honkai watts are directly equivalent to normal watts, that means that 1 Honkai watt would be a rate of 1 Joule's worth of Honkai energy per second. That means 3rd Eruption Mei was outputting less than one honkai-watt-hour of power, meaning less than 0.1% of a single kilowatt-hour.
Per Wikipedia, in 2009 the average cost of a kilowatt-hour in the US was $0.10 per kWh. That means 10 cents lets you buy more than 1,000 times the power that Mei output in the 3rd Eruption. Again... assuming that 1 Honkai-Watt = 1 Watt. Needless to say that's plainly absurd, lmao
However, we do know that Mei can create lightning at will, and lots of it. So that gives us a real-life equivalent to work with. Since we can't easily define Honkai-Watts relative to real watts, it'll be easier to just estimate her power based on the lightning she outputs.
Tumblr media
Positive lightning strikes tend to be much more intense than their negative counterparts. An average bolt of negative lightning carries an electric current of 30,000 amperes (30 kA), and transfers 15 C (coulombs) of electric charge and 1 gigajoule of energy. Large bolts of positive lightning can carry up to 120 kA and 350 C.The average positive ground flash has roughly double the peak current of a typical negative flash, and can produce peak currents up to 400 kA and charges of several hundred coulombs. -Wikipedia article on Lightning
To figure out the power in an average bolt of lightning based on these figures, we can put these numbers together to calculate the watts of power. Since 1 coulomb is equal to 1 ampere-second, then we can divide coulombs by amps to get the amount of seconds the energy transfer took place- that is, how long the lightning was blasting for. Then we can divide the gigajoule by the seconds and get the power.
Tumblr media
Thus we get... 2 terawatts. That's science-speak for a shit-ton of power. I love Wikipedia's example even though it's useless for our purposes, so I'm sharing it for fun:
2 terawatts- Approximate power generated between the surfaces of Jupiter and its moon Io due to Jupiter's tremendous magnetic field. -Wikipedia, Orders of Magnitude (Power)
To make the comparison a bit more fun, we can look at an aircraft carrier's power generation (which is nuclear fission in this case)!
Tumblr media
The peak power output of a Nimitz-class nuclear-powered aircraft carrier is as follows: 1.9 × 10^8 W = 190 x 10^6 W = 190 megawatts.
Now we can convert 2 terawatts to megawatts pretty easily: 2 x 10^12 = 2 x (10^6) x (10^6) = 2 x 10^6 x 1,000,000 = 2,000,000 x 10^6 watts. Or... 2,000,000 megawatts.
Funnily enough, we actually have a comparable man-made measure of power. Per Wikipedia:
In New Mexico, U.S., scientists tested a new terawatt laser which provoked lightning. Scientists fired ultra-fast pulses from an extremely powerful laser thus sending several terawatts into the clouds to call down electrical discharges in storm clouds over the region. The laser beams sent from the laser make channels of ionized molecules known as filaments. Before the lightning strikes earth, the filaments lead electricity through the clouds, playing the role of lightning rods. Researchers generated filaments that lived a period too short to trigger a real lightning strike. Nevertheless, a boost in electrical activity within the clouds was registered. -Wikipedia, Lightning
So for Raiden Mei to summon lightning on-demand (assuming the real laws of physics are at play, not anime logic), then for Raiden Mei to call down a lightning strike from the clouds, she'd be releasing 1 gigajoule of energy in a mere fraction of a second (for negative lightning; double it for positive), resulting in 2 terawatts of power, which is over 10,000 times the power of a nuclear aircraft carrier (190 MW).
Now, to add ITER into the mix:
ITER's thermonuclear fusion reactor will use over 300 MW of electrical power to cause the plasma to absorb 50 MW of thermal power, creating 500 MW of heat from fusion for periods of 400 to 600 seconds. -Wikipedia, ITER
Notice the difference between electrical and thermal power. It takes only 50 MW of thermal power, the power in the plasma itself, in order to get 500 MW of heat out of it. But, it takes over 300 MW of electrical power to facilitate this reaction using electromagnets.
Tumblr media
Since we know that the lightning strike Mei could reach a power of as much as 2,000,000 MW or more, that makes her able to output 4,000 times the heat output of ITER. If she were to create the conditions for fusion instead, then assuming her energy efficiency is the same as ITER's facilities, we're looking at approximately 6667 times the energy input.
There's a MASSIVE caveat to all this: this assumes Mei can actually precisely and accurate focus her power in the manner needed to achieve nuclear fusion. If Mei can't focus her power in that manner, she can't really facilitate a fusion reaction. There's a huge difference between applying a quick burst of energy with a high power output vs. sustaining a high power output.
But that might be a matter of skill and mental willpower more than anything else. If Mei's lifespan were as long as a MANTIS like Hua or Su, then I imagine with literal millennia of practice and refining her technique, she could achieve this. But almost certainly not in the span between her awakening in Chapter 17 and the fight against Kevin at the end of the Moon Arc, lol
We can also use this to figure out the Hyperion's power output. We could assume Hyperion has the same power generation as a nuclear aircraft carrier and just use that estimate.
But we know that Raiden Mei's strike was 3200 HW while Hyperion only generates 1380 HW- so that means Hyperion's power generation is 43.125% of Raiden Mei's lightning attack. So if we take 43.125% of Mei's (estimated) 2,000,000 MW, that means Hyperion's reactor has a whopping 862,600 MW of power output, or more specifically it'd be 8.625 x 10^11 W.
For comparison, per Wikipedia, the "average power consumption of the first stage of the Saturn V rocket" was 1.66 x 10^11 W. That means Hyperion's peak reactor output (likely a high-intensity state that can't be sustained for long) is a bit more than 5 times the power of the Saturn V first stage.
The difference being that the Saturn V used this power in a directed exhaust of raw heat and motion, while Hyperion is (presumably) using it to create electrical energy. Also per Wikipedia, this can also be compared to the "peak electrical power consumption of France (February 8, 2012 at 7:00 pm)".
That means Hyperion has a flying France's worth of electrical energy production. It sounds insane, but when we consider the sheer amount of energy needed to lift a bloody aircraft-carrier sized vessel straight up into the air for thousands of meters while propelling it forward, sustaining internal operations, operating weaponry, AND projecting an energy shield... it's actually kinda reasonable tbh.
Again, I must emphasize that these are all estimates. We don't have a direct conversion between Honkai-watts and real watts, nor do we know exactly how powerful Mei's lightning blast in Nagazora was. It could be way bigger than 1 gigajoule, or way less.
It's not too hard to believe that it's more than 1 gigajoule since a real lightning strike doesn't absolutely obliterate buildings the way Mei's lightning did in Nagazora, though.
Second Eruption, with all its devastation, was actually damage control by Prometheus. Sirin never went to school, had 5 cores and all she did was chuck a bunch of meteors. An average motivated person her age or older would've started making hydrogen bombs immediately.

Refuses to use the Velvet Room as executing his Personas is too traumatizing for him, but every so often Atem manages to convince him to fuse a Persona or two. Code Name is "Pharaoh" because of Atem basically. Probably comes into his Persona naturally without having to take down a Palace, but if he did have one it'd likely be a tutorial level based on the Puzzle or the final dungeon of the game.
Judai: Yubel might be his Persona in this case. His Palace is based on the Dark World incident, with his Shadow becoming a wandering (overpowered) enemy you can't defeat until you go after the Treasure. Skills are focused on the Agi chain with a few debuffs here and there, along with 1 or 2 "attack all enemies" physicals that take a big chunk of HP. Also does not like the Velvet Room due to aforementioned Dark World incident, but being that he is the "master alchemist" he slowly gets used to the idea of executing his Personas and masters fusion somewhat quickly after. He draws the line at the Gallows, though. Code Name is "Ace" because one of GX's well known tropes is its deconstruction of the "Ace" archetype.
Yusei: Junk Warrior is his Persona. The Palace he's recruited in belongs to Godwin- Judai ends up running into Yusei in the Velvet Room while he's trying to get information about a demon he picked up. Yusei likely obtained his Persona before any of the others, but keeps it quiet and doesn't officially join up with Yugi and Judai until they end up fighting alongside each other in Godwin's Palace. (He didn't realize they also had Persona until he saw them being used inside the Palace.) Is uncomfortable with the idea of executions and thus the Velvet Room, so his Persona are usually just whatever demons he recruits on the way to the Treasure. He is, however, EXTREMELY uncomfortable with Lockdown and won't use it. Skills-wise, Junk Warrior keeps the Frei line of spells, Sukukaja/Tarukaja, and spells for removing enemy buffs. Code Name is "Star" because Stardust/Satellite's Shooting Star.
Yuma: Number 39 is his Persona, because Astral is taking up the role of being his Morgana! Yuma approaches the Phantom Thieves on his own with a request on the Phan-Site- he was looking into the disappearance of a friend of his (Rei) and found out said friend had a Palace of his own. He can't conquer it alone, so he's reaching out for help. He's relatively comfortable with the Velvet Room- he understands that the Personas he executes are just parts of him in a way, so he's okay with it but prefers the Electric Chair so he can keep the items they become with him forever. Has a quirk where he'll take on a trait of a Persona he's currently got equipped every so often. Skills are all about the Zio line and a shitton of physicals that power up if you pass the baton to him. For some reason "Forget" ailments never seem to miss him... he also bickers a lot with Judai at first, but the two eventually develop a brother-like friendship. Code Name is "Hunter", since he was a "numbers hunter" in the series.
Yuya: His Persona is Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Yuya ends up being encountered in Mementos, searching for answers about something. However, he has a Palace himself! Suspiciously, he has a Persona already but no Shadow... and what's more, Yuya's reported seeing other people inside what should be HIS Palace! (Aka, Yuya has a giant blinking "hi i'm plot important!" light on in his Palace and you will need 4 separate attempts to crack into it) He's fairly comfortable with the Velvet Room and the concept of Fusion (as he figured out how to resummon Personas from the registry BEFORE THE OTHERS SOMEHOW) so he's in there daily but refuses to use anything but the Guillotines. Like Yusei, he completely abhors Lockdown and won't use it. Skills are predominantly spells from the Garu, Eiha, Kouha, Zio families with Marakukaja and Energy Shower thrown in for good measure. Code Name is "Trickster", because I wanted a "jester"-like name and using Joker felt wrong.
Yusaku: His Persona is Firewall Dragon. Like Yuya, you have to go through Mementos to get him... UNLIKE Yuya, though, he's technically an optional party member. You have to encounter him 3 times in Mementos to figure out his identity, and THEN rank his Confidant up to Rank 3 before he'll start following you into Palaces. He straight up does not give a singular shit about executing his Personas and will use pretty much every function of the Velvet Room with 0 hesitation, a fact that lowkey worries pretty much the entire party. Unlike the rest of the Phantom Thieves, Yusaku has a few extra skills he can deploy while a backup member- in short, he's basically a Futaba who can waltz into battle with you and his skills are skewed in favor of that. His combat skills are the Psi line of skills, a shitton of debuffs and 1 heavy-hitting Physical skill. Code Name is "Playmaker", for obvious reasons. (NOTE - You cannot get the True Ending if you don't go get him so maybe he isn't optional after all, oops.)

Raspberry Tart looked at her with a blank expression, before shrugging, it didn't matter what she thought of him, he figured this would be a one time occurrence, its not like she'd make it a habit... at least he hoped this particular memory would be enough to scare her awake with a bad dream, or at the very least teach her to be careful of what she wished for.
Sapphire peered into the events to come to pass, listing the chain reactions as they unfolded in a panic a split second before the actual shenanigans were to ensue. Spinel being the starting domino of chaos as she was curious about the big pizza cutter, only for her tiny form to be whisked off cutting everything in her path. Ruby hanging on to every word, standing bewildered watching the events play out in real time. Human Steven dodging being nearly cut in half, then tackling Spinel, hoping to stop the pizza cutter in it's tracks only for it to go on without her. Sapphire had mentioned that the other wouldn't last the day, to which the Ruby had thanked fate for allowing her to spend her last moments with her, completely welcoming to whatever would happen and as Human Steven shielded the red gem from being crushed by the debris, this was a much bigger shield for him to maintain without his brother, he was sweating, his hands shaking and as the shield started to crack from the adding weight, in that instance the Sapphire rushed into the Ruby, the shield dissipating, leaving a large cloud of smoke. A gut wrenching cry came from the human, glowing pink, his body getting bigger making small rips in his shirt sleeves. "NO!!" There was a long silence as the smoke started to clear, he was fearing the worst, before Spinel had gently shook him making a noise, causing the pink stressed out human, to see Garnet. It didn't even occur to him that she wasn't all there, as he went in for a hug only to flop on the ground. Human Steven finally looking up and focusing on her, seeing the distinct cotton candy colors of the newly formed fusion. "...Garnet?" "I'm sorry... do you know me?"

Raspberry Tart looked over as the child were about to give him a talking to about how mean he was being, the butterflies swarming around them again after Eris utters the word 'oh'. He knew she was being serious about the situation as much as he was at the time.
He was in agony, but just feeling Human Steven losing hope, was far more painful than the torture that rejuvenation had done to him. His lips curled up into a knowing smile, looking at the hybrid child. "You sound surprised to see that the embodiment of negativity is acting like an asshole."
"You must understand that even if I know my words are like venom that sends chills down the spine, and shakes someone to their very core and make them really think about how badly they must have messed up to end up with me, spitting out their own negative thoughts back at them... it's really up to them rather they just wait till the venom takes them, or start working themselves up to find an antidote." With his last words on the subject, not even pausing to ask if she'd like to go back already knowing that he'd annoyed her long enough with chances to back out and just hear it second hand, she was firm in that she wanted to witness it. He waved his swarm off as they continued to watch the scene.
Human Steven mentioned out loud still forming a plan, "Well, when I was little, Garnet mentioned she first formed when Ruby rushed to Sapphire's aide... so maybe if we put Sapphire in danger Ruby would rush in and fuse with her and make Garnet again." He paused, while Peridot got his attention, "How about this?" "A giant pizza cutter?" "Well, not exclusively a pizza cutter, but yes that is one of its functions... you could use this to threaten Sapphire." "I can't threaten them with this." He replied as he was handled the giant blade. Peridot nodded, and pressed it, "Well now you can." She replied giving Human Steven a smile. "Plus you've handled a sword before, this shouldn't be too different right." "... right..." He was already not liking this plan. Spinel giving a cheery, "Good-luck!" Human Steven had come up to the pair of reset gems, their faces still reminding him of his family. He hardened his nerves, this was for the best, he had to do this. Ruby stepped between the Steven wielding the spinning serrated blade. "Stop right there, I can not let you near my precious Sapphire, with such a threatening device." Human Steven's tone, darkened, "Well that's too bad, because I'm going to slice you to pieces." He replied, raising the spinning blade above his head. Ruby not turning from Sapphire, "Permission to dispatch the curly haired one my Sapphire?" Sapphire calm, "Ruby, stand down. He's in genuine distress at the thought of hurting us, and he's not going to follow through." Human Steven's façade dropped, "It's true.... Even if we are just pretending" He turned off the blade with a huff and through it on the ground, walking away, distraught at the plan not working. Ruby amazed that the Sapphire's prediction came through. "My Sapphire, you were right, what do you predict would happen next?"
