#two articles back to back on my fb page: that teen s*icides increased after thirteen reasons why debuted on netflix#and then a story about a gay BYU grad standing up to his religion#being a young person is tough and being a gay young person is tougher and it would be naive to say media does not have a formative impact#on a teenage mindset. in college i wanted to die nearly every day. my best friend has attempted s*icide. i wrote a whole fucking fic about#my other friend who killed himself. it is so incredibly important to me that young people know they are safe and alright and normal#and loved#and that is hopefully reflected in how i blog and what i blog about#please let me know if anything i ever do makes you feel unsafe or triggers you or whatnot#i am awful at tags but i will try and def honor specific requests#and i know i am not a big blog but consider this my thesis statement: i am here for H and L and the boys and their music#and to write fic and enjoy being a fan#i have a very stressful life and bad anxiety and a complex family and this is my happy place#and i want it to be a happy place for anyone who follows me too#so always tell me if i can improve that. i love you all#suicide tw#death tw
