Browsing my saved pictures and saw this Everquest screenshot
#man I need to get myself a private server hosted#need to make my Iskar shadowknight and my dwarf paladin and gnome magician#and then I just need to be able to... dick around with Everquest when I feel the urge and know I own the whole thing#and have it be one of the older ones... mhh... ideally right around when they added frogloks and no further#cause I like the frogloks; but that's kinda... like it still exists but it doesn't feel the same#Kunark is mandatory; can't be without my lizards; for all it's flaws I do like Luclin#P99 had a pretty good vibe but they also seemed like they deleted my characters or... can't find them#and that's why I'm so obsessed with owning the server myself#vs like Homecoming keeps my characters fine; and they occasionally add more powersets... I will accept the lack of ownership#in exchange for them doing all the work#anyway... legit just like messing around in Everquest; I just like the vibes and the shitty late 90's graphics#I literally think it looks better than a lot of hyperrealistic stuff these days#this goblin's butt just has so much more personality than yet another uncanny modern game with good but not quite right graphics
