first of all i didn’t watch the video so i can’t speak much on it but candace owens titling her video “why black women hate taylor” is a) untrue and in extremely poor taste (also very transparent), and b) kinda like reversed racism??

#don’t speak for an entire group of people bc YOU don’t like someone #and also if the roles were reversed and it was a white woman saying that about a black woman we’d be having a different conversation #it’s just becoming super transparent how many people are threatened by taylor and her level of success #and their only critique being some lofty opinions about who they THINK she is vs who she actually is as a person #And like I just don’t get the agenda of tearing down anyone just bc someone isn’t your cup of tea #Also it’s v clear when you hate someone you don’t know that much -#that it’s jealousy and insecurity disguised as think pieces #also before i end my rant #i think it’s so interesting that the only people who have anything bad to say about taylor haven’t met her #bc the people who have give her nothing but praise always
