#Because :) the Seiroku with the Date dies with him#'can you live without your other half' no.#in a physical sense yes#and the wrathful sadistic Seiroku can#but the Seiroku that existed with the Date can't#obviously he's not getting out of this#but even with ENTIRELY different circumstances#as long as Soma was mortal and Seiroku wasn't#the day Soma died Seiroku wouldn't be the same#even if he watched over the Date and ensured their success#he'd never be the same (though he'd care)#AND IN WHATS ACTUALLY HAPPENING#HIS SADISTIC WRATHFUL SIDE BACK OUT IN FULL#both bc he hates Naoe as it is and feeling Soma gone#No Seiroku CAN'T survive#it's another death for Seiroku#like when his youthful optimistic side died#the side with Soma dies#everything soft and gentle dies and its just Hate again#᛭ — [OOC] angst is the game and tears are the currency
