OKAY !!!!
i saw the boruto leaks this morning and i won’t lie, they actually had me hyped for the time skip. i know weird cuz this manga is ROUGH and i have a love-hate relationship with it because i love naruto and boruto doesn’t really feel like it lives up to it’s legacy
that said, i wanna share my opinions on the designs✨✨
i won’t be posting any images in case others don’t wanna be spoiled and because the official release has not happened
i’m gonna start with the main character
(under the cut in case it gets long)
boruto: overall i think he looks boring. i said it was too simple for being the main character, but that’s not necessarily the issue. what i mean by it is the colors make it plain and simple. he’s the main character and those colors unfortunately do not make him standout. also, i personally think his face is too cluttered. he has the headband on, two whiskers on each side of his face and then the scar. it’s a bit much…
shikadai: ehhh he’s alright i guess. not bad, but nothing impressive
inojin: OH MY GOSH WHAT DID THEY DO TO HIS HAIR ??!! he looks even more like sai !!!! which is fine cuz he’s his father but why would you cut his hair ???!!!! the yamanaka clan are all about the ponytails. their blond tied back hair is what they’re known for and… they just chopped it off…
chocho: okay SHE’s CUTE !! i like her design. out of all the girls, her’s appears to be more ninja-like
himawari: i think she looks adorable ??!! idk she’s just cute to me !! i do dislike how uneven her hair is but ehhh i suppose that’s just uzumakis (karin had the choppy hair). her outfit is okay with me. also looks fine since it provides mobility since they’re ninja. i do think the sunflower design is a bit much… but nothing that can’t be overlooked. her choker… why does she have one ?? feels kind of unnecessary xD overall she’s adorable. i think the long hair suits her and makes her look like a girl since her short hair made her look more like a gremlin than a human child xD
eida & daemon: they’re boring. nothing’s changed NEXT
code: i LOVE code, but his design is nothing we haven’t seen. he wore it in the chapter prior to the hiatus. i will say i’ve always adored the gothic look he has going for him♡
mitsuki: HE’s BEAUTIFUL !!!! i love how he looks but i will say his clothes… in black and white it kinda makes him look like a huge blob >.< but overall he’s pretty pretty !! lowkey wish he’d gotten some eyeliner to make his eyes look more like orochimaru’s and wear his style of earrings as well, but oh well. we can’t have it all :,))
kawaki: OMGGG I LOVE HIM !!!!! his design idk why but i adore it !! the baggy pants and huge jacket just reeks of his fashion sense xD it suits him perfectly :3 i especially love his longer hair. i think he has one of the better designs
sumire: i think she looks CUTE !! i will say her design is so plain and looks basic but overall i think it’s one of the more decent ones regarding the girls. a little short, but that’s ikemoto ://
sarada: sigh… i saved her for last because i am NOT A FAN of her design ._. it just doesn’t look right imo. she looks like she changed in the dark or threw on the first thing she saw for a quick grocery store run. she has some bodysuit as if she were training and then just threw on the jacket and most random shoes to go out. her shoes literally look like 1980s leg warmers… like why ?? not to mention the collar is unnecessary and if her jacket has the uchiha crest on the back, why does she have earrings of the uchiha crest?? it makes her look tacky :// i do like that her hair was kept short and it sports the uchiha spikes ^_^
overall i think the designs are fine… i like them, but at the same time i don’t. this is a manga about ninjas. these designs feel like the narutoverse got thrown in a modern AU. let’s not forget the reason naruto is the way it is, is cuz it was inspired by traditional japanese culture. i understand in boruto they’re getting more modern with the tech, but that doesn’t mean throw away the traditional aspects naruto had. if anything, the clothing made it feel more authentic and true to it being inspired by traditional japanese culture. boruto feels more like a shonen manga trying to be an outdated fashion magazine at the same time. i understand ikemoto is inspired by jojo, but that’s jojo. the fashion is a whole different kind compared to the naruto one. if they want us to see this as naruto’s sequel, these designs don’t help it at all

Analysis/Opinion, Boruto Episode 178
Cause when they do something right that is worth watching I got to give them credit.
Okay, okay, okay.  What the hell did just happen? Boruto almost made me tear up? Yes, almost.  I know I’m late (way too late, and I haven’t seen this weeks episode to be honest) but I needed to speak about this episode because, causing me to almost tear up is somthing that both OG Naruto and Naruto Shippuden only did in other occasion which, uncoincidentally, involving the same two characters. But well, we get more into it later but before starting with the analysis, which will be done in chronological order, I will just warn you: SPOILERS! Now yes, let’s get into it.
At the beginning of the chapter I already knew this was going to be good. Like, really good. The first shot showing Shikadai tying up his hairs lacks of subtlety yet is a very good symbol and a clear indicator of what will come up next. Nara’s pineapple hair is quite a staple for the clan, it show us the tradition passed down from generation to generation. It’s, also, something that connects, both in a visual but also symbolical level, all three grandfather, father and son. Having Shikadai tie up his hair at the beginning of the chapter just was a sneak peak of all to come, how in some moment Shikamaru will have to do the same as his father and entrust everything of Shikadai knowing that he’ll be able to make things right. Really short and sweet.
The “breakfast scene”, that’s how I called it. Well, this is the only moment we actively was Temari which is sad because I’m craving for moments with her and actually thought this was a good opportunity to do so. Yet, I respect the decision that Studio Pierrot made to focus primarily on Shikamaru and secondarily on Ino, though I would have loved to see a little bit more of the later but I’ll talk about that later.
I think the gesture of Temari talking to Shikadai before hand about everything is very telling of Temari as a character and her relationship with Shikamaru. It does not only show a deep bond between the couple, created through a deep comprehension of and care for each other which is nice. Both Temari and Shikamaru know about loss and it’s really nice that they know what each other need during the times of grieving. She doing the dishes, talking to Shikadai or giving him the space during that day feels fitting as Shikamaru is known to be someone who needs to process things on his own. However, Temari always is there, and through little acts she shows it (even I liked the strict parenting that it was displayed here, is more of what I’ll imagine Temari doing). But, yes there is no need of flashy displays she just does it everyday which, is beautiful.
I got no particular dislike of Shikadai not remembering the date. He is almost a teenager born and raised in a period of peace and it shows. Probably he had other things in his head but, boy, you are supposedly a quick thinker! If you saw not only your father unusually late at home but both your parents are dressed all in black. I really don’t think that connecting the dots was so difficult. Still, it was passable since it gave the excuse for Temari to talk (which though sad, it’s true).
Shikamaru in this scene is anticipating what will happen through the chapter. This is an important date not only to them but the whole of the villages but, also the change between the sequences to the monument of those who died in the line of duty, the Will of Fire also sujested the grate importance that it has to him even though he doesn’t like to admit it that openly. There is something that kept ruminating in his mind since that day; something that makes that day even more than a commemoration day towards his father.
Okay now, having finished with that opening scene, let’s get into the second scene. Before entering into the more detailed thing let’s get through this first. I know people were pissed about Hinata not being part of the group while being present at the commemoration ceremony. I find this to be understandable in terms that Hinata is no longer a active jonin, and that all the once that were up in the stage were people who thought at the Fourth Great Ninja War for Konoha and still are active ninja. Does this justifies it? No, but it gives us some sort of explanation. I personally was way more focused on having Hinata bringing Neji’s portrait. I found this enduring and a really nice gesture that just makes me want to have seen more of their relationship and development in Naruto Shippuden. In the same manner though I was pissed of that Choji wasn’t that present I understand the necessity to fill a story in a 22 minute timelapse so, even though I think Choji could be easily added better within the chapter, I understand the decision to not involve him that much. In the same manner it would have been nice to see Yoshino and Choza within the people of Konoha, a real missed opportunity.
Shikamaru looking above to the sky is a lovely gesture that carries a lot through it. I often talk about how beautifully written is Shikamaru’s arc through Naruto. He is the pivotal character that I would put a focus if a coming of age story is what you are looking for. And this character arc left us with one solid idea in my opinion, sometimes what you always wanted won’t be what is given or what is needed from you. Growing up is about taking responsibilities about following the path you consider to be right and not the easiest. However in this little moment we can see a really human Shikamaru that, is not only looking up into the sky towards his lost father but his lost dreams. There is almost a melancholic tint to all this scene, because we all have times in which we wish we could be kids again and really don’t care. It’s really humanising and it is done with such a subtlety that it surprised me.
Ao coming back is still something I don’t end up getting used to, even with two rewatches of the episode. But I got to say it, even though I find it quite convenient, he fufills the role that is needed from him in this chapter being the only person that can answer the question that’ll bring peace to Ino and Shikamaru so, even though a little bit crappy in its execution I really don’t mind he survived.
Shikamaru and Ino and their talk was really fresh and something I never knew I needed. As I always said, I love Team 10 and their dynamic. There is an undying love, support and care for each team member to the others that is so wholesmome and sweet. And in this scene they were able to replicate this perfectly. The friendship between Ino and Shikamaru was always a beautiful element within the narrative because they are, in my opinion, a really good representation of a female-male friendship. And no, this doesn’t mean that you can’t ship them (I mean you do you) but it means that I think that it was a really nice scene between two friends, one a woman and the other a man, that care about each other like family and that I am sure would do anything for each other and I think that is beautiful. Friendships between men and women should be normalised on screen and I think that Ino and Shikamaru, beyond the Ino-Shika-Cho as a whole, are a really true example of what a healthy friendship can be. They joke around with each other but also don’t shy of being vulnerable and supportive.
Here enters the well known “Survivor Syndrome”, also called Survivor Guilt, something that all three main characters within the chapter have, meaning, Shikamaru, Ao and Ino. This is a mental condition that occurs when a person believes they have done something wrong by surviving a traumatic or tragic event when others did not, often feeling self-guilt. Obviously all characters show it in different degrees; for someone like Ao that guilt is turned into the inspiration to move foward with his rehabilitation in order to live for those who died but in the case of Shikamaru and Ino it is explored completely diffeng through one element, key for this chapter.
The Recurrent Question, is basically a lovely way to introduce us to syche of this two characters and better understand the weight this two characters carry beyond the leadership of their clans. Their parents died at a fairly young age and their kids were inexperienced as it regards a war of this magnitude beyond being basically teenagers. Taking all this into account, beyond Shikamaru’s characterisation which goes alonb with it, it really isn’t weird the question they have. It fairly logical, give the situation they found themselves in years ago but also nowadays as parents to the next generation. It is really a ver humanising question as it reminds us that, before being incredibly talented ninjas they are people. This is something they need to understand for personal reasons: both as son and daughter but also as parents. Compeleting that piece of the puzzle is what something will give them a much needed peace and, also the key to move foward as it’ll be gaining a better understanding of, not only their parents, but themselves
The Next Generations, is a theme that was always reinforced through all the series but specially in Team 10. This is not only given the importance the Will of Fire had for the characters that conform it but also in the genesis of the team itself. The formation of the Ino-Shika-Cho is a strategic one that is built and reinforced through tradition. Hence the strong bonds between the different he generations of these clans because, by the passing of the torch they are entrusting there lives and legacy to the following in line. They importance of trust and time become apparent as they show us the new generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho as Shikamaru says that one day they’ll entrust everything to them, unknowingly, providing him with the answer to they question he asks. But, why he doesn’t notice this? Because he had to hear it himself, showing the respect and admiration they had as shinobi. As Ino said they were heroes, real shinobi till the very end, but is that really so? I don’t think so.
Then we go to the sequence in which Ao leaves a flower to greet farewell to Inoichi and Shikaku which I think is a really nice yet simple moment. He also had the weight of never having said goodbye to them and through this gesture he is finally coming together and giving himself a much needed peace; he finally forgave himself for being the sole survivor of that division and of the destruction.
“You look just like your father”  Well that hit me on a personal level. All people since I can remember always told me I look exactly like my mother. And, as many people that also where told so may know is not something you particularly like to hear when you are a child. You want to your own individual unbound of you parents and their lives but, when you grow and loss that special someone, well it hits differently. I can imagine what those words would mean for Shikamaru, probably some needed words that we all saw coming. It’s the idea that, somehow, he is able to keep with his father’s legacy which transcends the looks. It’s nice and sweet.
And here the question comes. Since Ao was introduced it was obvious he’ll fufill this role; answer the question. It was so brave for Shikamaru to ask it, knowing the answer may not be what he may wanted. The fact he says he “sometimes” thinks about this, shows us that the question tormented him for quite some while, fifteen years. It’s really sad if you think about the uncertainty that covered this vital part of his life that would go on to affect everything, his role as an advisor, as a Shinobi and as a father. But the answer was definitely something way needed for this two, and deserved. Seeing Ino and Shikamaru (well Shikamaru almost) cry made me almost tear up. And that’s what I said previously, Inoichi and Shikamaru as so many pointed out weren’t shinobi in their last breaths but fathers. And great ones, that entrusted without doubt and absolute trust everything to Ino and Shikamaru. It was a really beautiful moment that really felt gained and I couldn’t help but smile, though it always been obvious to me, I still was nice to hear it.
I would have loved to see more of Ino and her point of view through the chapter. I think we followed Shikamaru all through it, and don’t get me wrong I am a sucker for any Shikamaru-centric episode, but it would have been lovely to see the other side of the coin, the complete story and view. So yes, my main complain with this chapter as a whole would be that.
And we get to the ending. First of all we see Shikamaru watching the clouds as he used to do when he was a child, for me a clear indicator that a big weight had been taken away from him. It’s a lovely remainder that we can still dream and recall the child we once were.
Temari sending Shikadai to find Shikamaru is really fitting and a good gesture of Temari to be honest. I think she knew he’ll need Shikadai, as I said before this two know each other so much, so I doubt this was arbitrary.
Shikamaru and Shikdai are really such great father-son duo, I really like their interactions and how Shikamaru is able to reflect himself in Shikadai, hoping that one day his son can learn something from him as he did with his father and knowing he’ll be able to entrust everything when the time comes. And, who I am lying saying that the time will come? Some people say that this was a the anime anticipating Shikamaru’s death but, to be honest, that’s something I already knew since nothing of his dream come true. He never had two children and the first was a boy, he married a stunning and troublesome woman he truly loves, he is the Hokage’s advisor and one of the most important figures in the Shinobi world. Besides, Asuma’s and Shikau’s death I think showed Shikamaru that there is a way more fitting way for a shinobi, but even more importantly for a human, to die than peacefully which will be protecting what he loves. Yes, that moment will probably break my heart but, if done correctly, it’ll be a perfect end for this character.
The only thing I got left to say, because I won’t analyse the last scene cause (being honest) I was completely taken by surprise is, what happened to Temari? I got to say, that wasn’t really nice of Shikamaru and neither of Shikadai. Shikadai was looking for Shikamaru in order to go home to Temari, who was waiting for them. I just gonna set this clear - now Studio Pierrot owes us a Nara Family Moment/ShikaTema for doing dirty at last second lmao.
Well this is my opinion/analysis of this episode of Boruto. I hope I didn’t bore you that much when reading my opinion and that you enjoyed the episode as much as I did. Have a nice day! ❤️

Hello borusara fans This is my first time to made a fanfic so if i make a mistake tell me please. And support me.
Title : Lovers or just a friends?
After years away from their hometown, the Uchiha family returns to Konoha. There, young Sarada, right on her first day, runs into her best childhood friend, Boruto Uzumaki, who is now a handsome seventeen-year-old boy with blond hair and blue eyes, much more beautiful than girl remembered.
The friendship between the two flows as before, with the same tone of zueira and rivalry that has always existed. But this time, there is something more connecting the two hearts. Something the Uchiha is still unaware of.
Accompanied by a mystery involved in the Uchiha family, the young woman will have to deal with the consequences that her return will bring to the lives of her old and new friends, while facing new feelings that will arise and leaving her tormented with a question: After all, she and Boruto, are they friends or something else?
Chapter 1 : I am back!!!
Dear diary, my name is Sarada Uchiha. After 7 years in Otoga, I am returning to my hometown, Konoha. Nostalgia invades me when I think about my old life there. The restaurants, the school, the people ... Everything that I left behind, will come up again.
I'm at the airport waiting for our flight schedule. I confess that I'm a little impatient, I took this from my father hehe. Who is he? Sasuke Uchiha, a policeman who scares people, especially my colleagues. I say that because as a child, the other kids didn't mess with me because of him, except for a certain idiot ...
From my mother I took the temper. I can be - with a clear reason - a little warm. She, Sakura Uchiha, is a doctor and founder of the ‘Psychological Institution for Children’ in Konoha. Do you know a dedicated woman who always gives her all? She is my mother, and I love to be proud of that ”.
Narrator p.o.v
Sarada wrote in his new diary, which was given by a friend before his return to Konoha. While filling the first page of countless to come, wearing headphones, I listened to “Happier - Mashmello”, on Spotify.
- Sarada - Sakura called a second time, with blood in her eyes.
- She won't listen to you while wearing these headphones. - Sasuke warned in an ironic tone.
- Hehe ok ... Sarada! - the mother shouted, pulling the girl's headphones, who closed the diary at the same moment, frightened.
- Who was the ... Ah, hi mom! - the girl turned red as a tomato - note: she hates tomatoes - this when she realized that her mother caught everyone's attention around her. Ah ... mothers. - Hey, mom, you don't have to shout like that! You could have just called me.
- Hi????? - Sakura asked in horror at her daughter's wooden face. - Drop that diary and let's go! Then you go on with it, come on, come on !!
- Okay, Sakura, I understand, don't shout, onegai hehe ...
The girl kept the diary, and went with her parents for boarding.
•••
- I'll stay at the window! - Sarada exclaimed.
- My Kami ... Looks like a seven year old child, do I deserve it? Sakura sighed, her hand on her face. - There's your daughter Sasuke.
- With this way of acting, I think we know who she actually looks like ...
- Dad, don't say such a thing ...
- Hey! What do you mean by that?
- I did not say anything! - the girl replied in a hard face.
Sakura turned away and smiled a satisfied smile. Your relationship with your daughter is like that, the best.
The conversation ended. The girl put the headphones back on and went back to writing in her diary.
“I am so happy to be back in Konoha! The main reason for this is that I’m going to see my friends. Sumire, Inojin, Shikadai, Lee, and Boruto, my favorite.
Since we don't keep in touch, I spend hours wondering if they still remember me, our madness ... Did Boruto grow up? Haha, I remember being bigger than him, which was a perfect reason to make fun of him. He was also irritating and stubborn. My father said that this was taken from Uncle Naruto.
I missed that idiot so much ... ”.
The plane started. Sarada kept the diary, and without realizing it, she fell asleep, shortly after imagining a thousand and one possibilities of what her reunion with her old friends would be like. With a smile and "See You Again" playing, the girl fell asleep.
•••
- Sarada ... We arrived, wake up ... - Sasuke called calmly.
The girl opened her eyes slowly, and when her senses surfaced, she broke into a big smile.
- So we're done ...
- Let's go down, get your things.
- OK.
It was one in the afternoon when they arrived in Konoha. After solving some things, the family left the airport. Sarada breathed in and out of the old - and now new - home, when an idea popped into her head.
- Uh ... Will the taxi take long to arrive?
- I hope not, I'm exhausted. But why are you asking, huh? - the mother asked, suspicious.
- It's just ... I wanted to go for a walk, you know? I don't know ... Just to know the changes in the city ... - he said with a pidona face.
- I think you'll have enough time Sarada. Now we need to get some rest. Besides, we just arrived, you shouldn't go around alone. - Sasuke said.
- It's quick!
- Didn't you hear daughter? Not now. - Sakura declared.
- Ok ... Okay, - he replied.
- Stay calm, the taxi won't take long ... Ah! Look at him over there!
The car arrived.
- Hey, man, can you please help us with our bags? - Sasuke asked the taxi driver.
- Sarada put your things in ... - Sakura turned and sighed when she saw that her daughter was no longer there. - Oh God! Sasuke, where's Sarada?
- Take a walk, maybe? - He smiled discreetly.
- Ah, so stubborn ... He pulled his side of the family!
- She'll be fine, Sakura, don't worry so much ...
- If she gets lost, who will look for her, it will be you!
•••
Somewhere in the City Center
- I think ... I'm lost ha ... ha ... My God, help me!
It was late afternoon. Sarada went around and around the city, and ended up getting lost, he didn't know how to get back to the taxi stand. He stopped in a square, sat on a bench and stayed there. He hates to admit it, but his parents were right, it would have been better to wait. Teens ... They are so stubborn, argh!
- Dude, what do I do now? My cell phone battery is over, I'm lost in this huge city, and hunger is starting to attack. Maybe it is better not to see my parents again, because my mother will want to kill me. Damn ... I'm such an idiot! - he said, throwing a crumpled pamphlet on the floor.
- Just because you're lost doesn't mean you're an idiot!
"Oh no ... There comes a man to fill me," Sarada thought.
- Don't worry, I'm not a fucking pervert or anything. I just want to help a girl who's looking like she's lost.
- I don't need your help. - Sarada didn't even look at the person. His eyes were on the floor.
- It's not what it looks like. Are you new around here?
- What if it is?
- So it's explained ... Look ... If you accept, I can show you the way to the train station, or the taxi rank.
“Shit Sarada, look at the situation you are in now,” she thought.
- Okay. To make things easier, I say my name, can it be?
- Hmm.
- But ... I only say it when you look at me.
"Loose face".
Sarada raised her head and then ...
- My name is Boruto Uzumaki! And who are you?
A shock. It was what the young woman felt when she met those unforgettable eyes. Blue as the ocean, and beautiful as the ... of an angel? Yes, that's how she described them since she was little.
- Bo ... - she whispered.
- It was bad, I didn't understand. Can repeat?
- Boruto ... Is it ... you?
- Ah yes. And you are... ?
- Do not you remember? - the girl asked with a stare, intimidating to the boy, who after some time sinking in that onyx, realized. - I am...
- Impossible ... She can't be here ...
A tear formed in the eyes of the Uchiha, who left for a hug in his friend, who soon could be sure that yes, that was his best childhood friend ... Sarada.
After a few seconds stuck together, they separated, shyly, and the girl started:
- I still can't believe I found you like this, Boruto. I ... I missed you so much ...
The boy couldn't take his eyes off her. He was delighted and made a point of making that clear.
- Sarada are you ...
- What? She asked, confident that her friend would have noticed her changes from a little girl to a woman.
- Too short! Hahahaha, what the fuck? Forgot to grow up?
- YOU FOOL! AFTER SO LONG, HAVE YOU NOT YET LEARNED HOW TO TREAT WOMEN ?!
- There! - the boy shouted when he felt his friend's punch, after a long time. - It's even stronger ...
- Ah ... It was bad hehe! I think I got excited ...
- Relax! I missed that ... Really.
The eyes met for a fraction of a second.
- Ah ... Tell me ... Did you come to visit? What a pity, because I really
- I'm here to stay. She interrupted. - I'm back to Konoha ... Boruto!
- B ... Welcome back ... I ...
- You do not need to say anything! We'll have all the time in the world! Just for us!
At that moment, the boy blushed on a level ...
- Yeah, yeah, you're right! Can I ... give you another hug?
- Idiot ... Why do you ask? - she said pulling the blonde. - I'll tell you everything!
•••
- Then your father completed the task and you could return ...
- That ae! - Sarada replied, while eating ice cream that Uzumaki insisted on buying.
- Wow! I ... I thought you would never ... I thought I wouldn't see you anymore ... - he declared with a weak smile.
- I knew you couldn't take it anymore without me, baby boy!
- Hahahaha! This time, and only this time, I will not disagree. - he joked, and then decided to ask - Are you ... dating?
- Not! I'm really fine ... What about you, sir? Until you are dressed up, I would not be surprised if I said that I found someone to support you.
- Nobody is worthy!
- Hahahaha, I know! I'm sorry for the unfortunate future! - Sarada joked, pushing the blonde slightly.
And with that started a war.
- Hey! - Boruto grunted, pushing her harder.
The two stayed like that for a long time.
- It's great to have you here again! Sarada looked into the boy's eyes after the statement and his face flushed slightly.
- N-don't look at me like that, idiot!
- Because? Can't you resist that beautiful face of Uzumaki?
- Hahahaha! Silly!
They - or at least one of them - would never think about the possibility of the two together.
- Well, the sun is already setting. I'll take you to the station, and then you call your people to come and get you, can you?
- Yes, thank you!
- So let's go?
- Let's go!
Breaking time >>
After a few minutes walking around the city, and learning about it, Sarada and Boruto arrived at the station. Uchiha used his friend's phone to check on his parents, who were worried and furious.
After the call, the girl said goodbye to Boruto.
- Thank you ... Even after so long you were here when I needed it most
- That's what friends are for, isn't it? - he said with a smile, (and what a beautiful smile).
They embraced for a while. This time, a hug full of tenderness and longing, as if all words not said in years, were transmitted through this act.
Sarada looked over the blonde's shoulders and saw his punishment.
- My parents are getting there.
- So I think it's time to say goodbye ... Well, bye.
- Hahaha, bye! Until next time!
- That sentence ... See you!
The two smiled at each other and he was gone. Seconds later, the girl's parents arrived.
- Something to say, stubborn Uchirrazinha? - Sakura asked, arms crossed.
- Err ... I'm sorry. I didn't hear them both and ended up doing shit. Forgive me, please.
- Since when it doesn't happen again. We are not in a very “free and fired” moment to walk through this alone, understand? His mother replied, calmly - or at least, trying.
- Thank you mom ... - the girl looked at her father, who smiled a little, just to make her understand.
- Let's go home. - he said.
•••
After meeting, the Uchiha family returned home - the old house, which is beautiful and perfectly preserved. - When he arrived, Sarada ran to his room, which still had some old things, such as toys and clothes. He sat on the bed, and picked up his diary.
“Dear diary ... I just saw my best childhood friend. This is so surreal and exciting. He's so ... tall and handsome, he doesn't even look like the annoying brat from a few years ago.
He saved me, that idiot ...
What did fate have in store for me? I'm looking forward to finding out! ”.
The girl smiled alone as she remembered the day with her friend. She closed the diary and looked around. The room was a mess, this is like a nightmare for a young Sasuke and Sakura Uchiha, so she took advantage of the disposition to give a touch Sarada Young there.
A few hours later, she fell asleep.
Hope you guys enjoy the story. I try my best to write perfect but if i made mistakes so please forgive me. Thanks for reading ❤❤❤❤

A (wind)blast from the past...
So.. lets talk about Dobson and anime.
No, I am not meaning in the way that I am going to dissect his biased spiteful opinions on Japanese animation and comic culture on general (believe me, we are going to get there one day) but in regard of something that even got me by surprise when I learnt of it the day before.
You know Rumiko Takahashi? Mangaka of work such as Ranma ½, One-Pound Gospel, Mermaid Saga and most famously Inuyasha? Not only is this woman one of the most popular and richest mangaka on the planet with multiple awards under her belt (including the Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoulême in 2019) but if you know anything about Dobson at all, you know that she is one of his idols. Meaning of course he plagiarized her wacky tone of humor, certain characters and overall style in his earlier works, primarily Formera and Alex ze Pirate.
Honestly, growing up with Ranma ½ myself (and being disappointed in the ending even today, though the ride was entertaining) I can confirm just how much he was “inspired” by her. Be it by the fact that Perry the Pirate acts like Happosai if he had the genes of Brian Blessed halfway split into him, that most of the wacky sledgehammer humor his characters can engage in is way too similar to what Akane Tendo would do, to Altea being everything Miroku from Inuyasha would be, if you removed his redeeming qualities.
Tumblr media
Well, here is the thing: Although Dobson likes her work, for reasons he never elaborated on, he can’t stand Inuyasha.
Tumblr media
Which I assume is related to the manga being less “wacky” than Takahashi’s previous work (though she did also write darker stories like Mermaid Saga before that) . I can’t however say so for certain. All I know is that the manga (in my opinion) ran for longer than was necessary and that Naraku got off easier in a way than he deserved, even if he was killed by the end of it all, which are like two major criticisms I can think of.
Tumblr media
That said, I would be lying if I said I did not adore Inuyasha back in the day and see why other people liked it too. It was one of the first manga I followed regularly and while I can look back at it and see all the cheese to it, I genuinely liked reading the adventure of Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, Sango and Miroku, with Sesshoumaru, Jaken, Rin and Kouga as flavor adding side characters. I have fond memories of listening to “Change the World”, I still own the third movie on DVD cause I really like it and the anime and manga is always good for a read down memory lane. But I digress. This is not about me self indulging into my weaboo past, this is about Dobson potentially changing his opinion about Inuyasha soon.
Why? Because it gets the Korra/Boruto treatment now. In short, there is going to be a girl centered sequel.
Tumblr media
To elaborate: Last month (May 2020) it was announced that Sunrise, the same studio that did the first Inuyasha anime adaptation, would release around autumn (though that is more or less an estimate) a new series by the title of “Hanyou no Yashahime”, which roughly translates into “Yashahime: Princess Half Demon”. And not just that, Rumiko Takahashi herself will work as character designer on it and anime scriptwriter Katsuyuki Sumisawa, who collaborated with Takahashi on the scripts of all Inuyasha movies and has credits on many other popular Shonen Anime of the 80s, 90s and 2000s, is in charge of scripts.
Tumblr media
Here is a link describing a bit more about the show
And here is a description of the plot, courtecy of livechart The daughters of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha set out on a journey transcending time!
In Feudal Japan, Half-Demon twins Towa and Setsuna are separated from each other during a forest fire. While desperately searching for her younger sister, Towa wanders into a mysterious tunnel that sends her into present-day Japan, where she is found and raised by Kagome Higurashi’s brother, Sota, and his family.
Ten years later, the tunnel that connects the two eras has reopened, allowing Towa to be reunited with Setsuna, who is now a Demon Slayer working for Kohaku. But to Towa’s shock, Setsuna appears to have lost all memories of her older sister.
Joined by Moroha, the daughter of Inuyasha and Kagome, the three young women travel between the two eras on an adventure to regain their missing past.
I am not gonna lie, I am baffled, excited and a bit concerned about this. Baffled because it has been over a decade since the manga ended and half a decade since the plot was also wrapped up in animated form. Add to that also the fact that this is the first time Takahashi actually does a sequel to one of her previous works and it is quite a surprise.
Then obviously, I am excited as someone who liked the original story and I kinda want to see where this is going, even if I was okay with the story ending in the first place. See, I am one of those people, I do not need endless continuations of some plots because I have nothing else going on in my life than one work of fiction I can never let go off and call others nazis if they do not agree with me mindlessly consuming it (*cough* Start Wars *cough*)
And Inuyasha is one of those things where I was overall still happy with the end. Ater all, Kagome and Inuyasha together, the villain defeated, Kohaku back to normal, Sango and Miroku busy being parents. YAY! So I do not need a sequel outright.
In addition, I am not necessarily a fan of the entire “sequel series about an offspring of character X” hook that Naruto for example went for with Boruto, because it feels like just doing the same shit over again with a new paint job instead of trying something slightly more original. That and quite often a sequel is only possible by the writer going for “happy end override” where the struggle our original heroes went for is essentially made pointless and their happy end taken away, so that a new conflict for the sequel can even happen. (again, Star Wars, or as one example in videogames that really stunk for me, Golden Sun for the DS).
Which are in the end the things I am actually worried about. That this sequel may turn the end of Inuyasha more tragic than it needed to be. But hey, we still have till autumn. So who knows, perhaps the show will be quite upbeat in its own way. Hopefully at least as “good” as the original. And if not, I can still perhaps enjoy it in a “so bad its good” way.
But independent of how I may perceive it, I am curious if Dobson, that is, if he even hears of this thing existing, will be interested in it. may do so. After all, on one hand it would be a sequel to a work by his favorite mangaka, who he likes so much, he feels even guilty about inflating characters by her.
Tumblr media
On the other hand, he does not like Inuyasha for never really elaborated reasons.
Then again, this will be a sequel involving the offsprings of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha. And knowing his boner for lesbians that went so far as to hint he looks regularly even on incestuous shipping art for the characters of Frozen…
Tumblr media
Who knows? Perhaps this will “cure him” of the notion that “homosexual shipping” in anime is creepy and he will join the group of Sesshoumaru and Inuyasha shippers via offspring proxy (sarcasm).
Tumblr media
After all, it is”less” creepy when they are cousins, aren’t they? And even if it is “incest” it would still be progressive because it would be two girls. And even if they are not going to kiss and cuddle like the precious tiny little lesbians Dobson likes to imagine a lot of women as, he can still ship them because there is nothing wrong about shipping, as long as he does it.
Can you tell that I am not a fan of his hypocrisy?
Look, in all honesty, I am curious what he would think of the show and how he would “perceive” it. Primarily because it may give additional insight in how far his hatred for anime as well as his lesbian obsession goes.
And on a geekier note to end on,, are Towa and Setsuna supposed to be Sesshoumaru’s daughters? Congratulations on getting busy, you old white haired pretty bo- Wait. They are half demons. Sesshoumaru mated with a human. But the only human he ever even showed a slight level of affection to was…
Tumblr media
 Oh…. oh, no!
youtube
For the love of god, please let her have been aged up enough! I know she was already aged up in the last chapter of the manga, but considering he was like her father figure... well, that is if Rin is the mother, but... come on, who else?

Chapter 30 - A New Beginning
Mitsuki's life had fallen to a slow, enjoyable routine in no more than a few weeks. After the first two passed, he was allowed back on missions, simple D and a couple of C ones of course, but at least they gave him something to do. Boring or not, they were his air and fuel for now. But he was growing restless, almost giddy... he wanted, needed to do more. Of course, mission-wise, this was all he was allowed for, they had been pretty strict about that. But Mitsuki had made his mind up on something else. He knew he was ready to begin his training with Sakura-san. He hadn't consulted with anyone in the house - mainly because he was afraid of their reactions - it couldn't be that everyone could be as understanding as Izumi-san, trying to protect him with their good intentions. No, he was going to talk to Sakura-san himself, and try to man up for her rejection, if it came to that. At least he wouldn't live in continuing uncertainty. So that was how Mitsuki found himself taking the known route to the hospital that day. The anxiety, no matter what he told himself over and over, was bubbling inside his chest, making it harder for him to concentrate. To distract himself, he instead began paying attention to the other changes in him.
The most noticeable thing - on the outside anyway - was his outfit. Of course, Hinata-san had his kimono fixed, but it was August and very hot in Konoha. He wouldn't have minded it very much himself, if it was not for his friends trading to lighter clothes, even for missions, and it began to become just a little awkward being near them in his usual kimono. So instead, Hinata-san had made him another top, one with lighter material and sleeves that can be folded to make it short-sleeved (he wasn't exactly comfortable with the sleeveless models). In his daily life, he started using the short sleeves. Still, he was sweating. No matter how much of a prep talk he had been giving himself, the thought of rejection, even if it wasn't permanent... still made him nervous. Before he realized it, though... he was already in front of the hospital. The boy stopped for a minute to take a deep breath before walking in. He came to know and became friends with almost all of the staff by now. Everyone he passed by took a second to greet him, some even stopping long enough for a chat. It wasn't until he ran into another pivotal figure in his treatment that Mitsuki's nerves reached their peak, though. "Oh, hi there Mitsuki," Ino-san, Inojin's mother and his lead psychiatrist gave him a big, warm smile. "I hope everything is good? I didn't know your appointment was today..." "It isn't," the boy clarified. "I just wanted to talk to Sakura-san..." "Oh," Ino's brows furrowed in concentration. "Well she's not in her room... a new patient has been brought in just a few minutes ago." Mitsuki's heart race accelerated, but through pure and unbound curiosity now. "Can I see?" Ino looked dubious, watching him uncertainly. "I don't know Mitsuki, honestly... this is a delicate situation. Why don't you just go to her office and I'll see to it?" And so the boy had no choice but do what he'd been told, sitting precariously in one of the comfy chairs in front of the desk in Sakura-san's office, fidgeting as more time passed. He had the feeling that it was indeed a pretty serious situation to keep the pink-haired medic this long... And when Sakura finally entered the room, her face was indeed drawn and very serious looking. The woman didn't even notice him at first, which was definitely new. She actually did a double take when she turned around and saw him. "Oh, Mitsuki..." she said, baffled, and then turned around to look at the calendar hanging on the wall behind her desk. "Was your control today...?" "No, no it wasn't," Mitsuki said quickly. "I just came because I wanted to talk to you about something." "Oh... okay, I mean good," the medic said, finally settling at her desk and gulping down a glass of water. A little more collected now, she glanced over at him. "How can I help you?" Mitsuki took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself. Thoughts like it's now or never were really not helping... He decided to just blurt it out, without giving it a second thought. "I want to start my medic training as soon as possible. I don't want to delay it any longer." A pregnant silence followed his declaration. Sakura was watching him carefully, her eyes not betraying any emotion or decision. Another minute passed before she sighed and got up on her feet. "Follow me." Confused but curious, Mitsuki got up himself. This wasn't what he was expecting, only instant refusal or a reluctant and conditional acceptation. They walked past a greater number of nurses and medics as they walked to their destination, and the boy couldn't help but wonder why there was such a crowding today. Was there an emergency? A chill ran down his spine. Sakura-san led the way to a room labeled ER. They didn't go in, just standing outside the glass panels to peek in. The bed in the room was obviously occupied, although Mitsuki couldn't really see who was on it. He thought at first that it was because of the number of medics around it, but then some of them moved aside and he saw the reason why. The occupant of the bed was so tiny... a baby... The boy didn't know what to say as he watched the activity in the room with slightly widened eyes, trying to imagine what could it be that brought a baby this small to the ER... He heard Sakura-san sigh beside him. "He was brought just a little while ago, before you came," she said, her voice a little weary... and sad. "We don't know what he's suffering from yet... only that his name is Hikaru." The boy gulped. "He is so... small..." "Barely five months old," the pink haired medic sighed again as she turned back to him, the look in her eyes now a little hardened. "I brought you here Mitsuki... because I wanted to show you just one of the tiny aspects of the life you want to choose." He didn't know what to say for a moment. "You wouldn't know what you will be facing any given day, and not each one of it will be pretty. You will face many challenges, and you will be forced to grow and adapt very rapidly. On that matter, I won't make things easy for you. This will be quite a long and demanding road for training... do you believe you're ready for this?" When she put it that way... the commitment he was about to make suddenly sounded larger than life. Mitsuki imagined being one of the medics in the room right now, or the leading medic... Having been handed the duty to save the precious life of an infant... lives hanging on the balance of every word from his mouth... every action by his hand... Was he ready? But then he looked up in Sakura-san's eyes and saw something beyond the weariness and sadness. The determination... and the fierce desire to save lives, to never give up... This determination had been the reason he could see his family and friends one more time... Was he really terrified, facing the one thing that he owed his life to? Mitsuki felt the same determination fill in his eyes as he came to a decision, a determination he hoped he was conveying strongly enough. "Yes." he said in a clear, unperturbed voice. "I am ready. I want to work hard to preserve the human life, to use that part of my knowledge for the general good." A warm and sincere smile appeared on Sakura's face and she put a hand on Mitsuki's shoulder. "Well then... take tomorrow off and I will be ready for you the day after." ... The boy was feeling like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders as he walked out of the hospital. He came to a halt as his eyes landed on a small, budding flower, and he got closer to take a look. He had spent enough time in and out of the Yamanaka flower shop with Himawari to get to learn about the variety of the flower species. He knew this particular one, the morning glory, because it was actually one of his favorites. Mitsuki gave a soft smile as he turned back, taking this little budding morning glory as a positive sign for his hopes for the future...

Warmth 2
Mitsuki tries again. Sarada knows what's up.
link on A03-----http://archiveofourown.org/works/10936143/chapters/24793164
Since Boruto had healed him, Mitsuki couldn’t stop thinking of it, and began to reason that if he could get healed just one more time, then he would be satisfied from then on.
Pleased with the plan he began looking for an opportunity, and as fate would have it he did not have to wait long. On the team's next mission he noticed that the others weren't paying attention to him, and when the beast swiped at him he purposefully moved away slower than usual.
The pain was faint and the blood, though it came gushing out, wasn’t a concern for the boy as he looked for his blond. Sarada, as always, saw him first and with a shout, knocked the bear unconscious, before practically dragging the bleeding ninja down.
Soon enough Boruto was there, with concern painted on his face so clearly it made Mitsuki’s heart throb with emotion. Without hesitation Boruto began healing his companion, lips drawn in a tight line as did so.
Mitsuki did his best to ingrain the event into his brain but felt it was different, and upon looking closer he decided it was different than last time. The healing chakra was still a comforting warmth, and the one supplying it was in almost the same position as last time as well.
It was the smallest of details that Mitsuki noticed were different, like how much more furrowed his brows were, or how his posture was forced to change do to his kneeling. All too soon it was over for Mitsuki and the blond was letting out a little sigh from the recent exertion, before giving the other a hard look.
“I don’t know what’s going on for you to be stuck in the clouds, but you need to be more careful, ya know!” Sarada gave the pair an odd look before adjusting her glasses, “it almost makes one wonder if it was on purpose.”
Mitsuki met her challenge with a smile, “are you saying I’m some sort of masochist?”
“I wouldn’t go that far, but someone could say you were trying to catch a certain someone’s attention.” Boruto looked at her in shock, “why would you say something like that!? Mitsuki isn’t the type of guy to do any of that, ya know!”
Sarada didn’t verbally respond, but the small twitch of her eyebrow showed concealed anger towards the now silent blue haired ninja's action.
Breathing through her nose she pushed aside the prospect dealing with this with force, and instead resolved talk with Mitsuki. It was clear to her that this was his newest way of catching Boruto’s attention, though this was currently her least favorite of his ploys.
She was beginning to miss the old days at the academy when he would do odd things, like leaving snake fangs for the blonde, but rarely did it involve physical harm.
“Alright let's get this thing away from the village, then we can do our report and head home. Sound good?” Without waiting for confirmation, Sarada grabbed one end of the bear and started to drag it to the rendezvous point before she stopped and shot the two a look.
“Boruto grab that paw and get moving, Mitsuki if you feel any strain then I want you to rest, worse case is that you go get Konohamaru Sensei.” This caused the boys to move and they dutifully dragged the bear to there awaiting sensei and the cage he had brought.
“Nice work team! Though you are a bit late- Mitsuki are you hurt?” His cheer dropped when he saw the blood on the boys shirt and without realizing it, he was taking steps forward.
“It was only a scratch. Though I fear that it caused the delay, my apologies.” At this the older man relaxed, though it did strike him as odd that one as skilled as Mitsuki would get so careless twice in just a short amount of time.
He chalked it up to the team, himself included, getting too comfortable with having a healer so close by. While it did mean that should things go south they would be able to hold out for longer than others, Konohamaru felt that it could easily spoil a ninja when any and all injuries, no matter how small, could be taken care of as if it were nothing.
“Sensei you aren’t thinking of unpleasant things again, are you?” Despite the fact that Sarada was a good bit younger then him, when she leveled her intense stare of disapproval at him, he could swear his heart would actually stop before resuming.
Chuckling nervously he scratched at the back of his head, “of course not!” He mentally berated himself for giving in so quickly, what would truly spoil a ninja would be a weak sensei.
“Listen, you are all exceptionally strong and there isn’t a lot that could give you trouble when you work together. That and the fact that Boruto has begun to learn how to heal, well it might be easy to get to comfortable, and the minute that happens you’ve lost the fight.”
Boruto felt anger prick under his skin at the way the others seemed to be looking down on Mitsuki, but before he said anything he got confused about why he was so angry at the idea of others looking down on the other.
Of course he cared deeply about the other, he was his teammate and friend after all, and the idea of one of his friends purposefully getting hurt, no matter the reason, hurt.
Unconsciously he looked over at Mitsuki, only to find yellow eyes boring into his, quickly looking away he felt his stomach twist and vowed to think this through later at home.
