Just thinking about the ugly duckling in lilo and stitch how stitch immediately latched onto a story about a baby swan who isn’t wanted because its treated as a defective duck and how its swan family finds it and takes it home and how stitch isnt wanted by his home planet because he was created artificially to be destructive and how he adapts so quickly on earth to be a dog because that’s what lilo is searching for and he’s rejected by the humans for not being a dog good enough and how all he really seems to do well is destruction but he feels empty inside afterwards and he takes the ugly duckling and runs away and cries "im lost" because that’s what the duckling did in the story to summon its family and stitch waits all night but no magical family comes by who understands him and why he acts the way he does, no one who wants him and loves him, and instead jumba, the closest thing stitch has to a father, arrives and reinforces that stitch only exists to destroy and that he has no family and not even the guy who created him wants him around and he can never break free from this reality.
