just remembered my neighbours back home have a trans cat?! like they thought the cat was male so they gave him a masc name and he/him pronouns, but then when they took him to the vet for the first time they found out he wasn't male. so they just declared he was trans and carried on as normal

#i have not heard a single person in our little rural community misgender this cat #and the cat is completely unaffected bc he does not know what pronouns are #plus it's cute bc a lot of ppl out in the country arent hateful so much as uneducated #so theyre just like oh shit cats can be trans? well that's alright with me #i also just saw the thing about calboy the intersex competition cat #and the way his owners will vehemently defend that calboy's unique traits are amazing #which they are!#and it just warms my heart :) love my trans siblings and love my trans cats
