i need every light on earth gone for the night so i can really see the universe again and feel seen by something so much bigger and older yet full of color and depth its like a blanket draped over me telling me this is home and it will always be
#i miss the summers in my familys mountain village when the power would regularly go out due to fires or fried lines#and i would look forward to the embrace of the night sky so bright and filled with so many stars they made clouds#and the smallest of meteorites passed and burned up so quickly and frequently i never wouldve noticed in the city#venspeaks
