update: i felt bad but i convinced my cat that he could still be happy if he cuddled with his brother instead of me
#i say brother but whatever is going on between those two is more like soulmates#there are other cats in the house and they literally only love each other#they are friendly with the black cat pictured and were friendly with our cat that passed last year#they arent friendly with the little grey cat (not pictured) but thats bc the grey one is a dick and a bully and he makes himself unlikakable#but they are only super friendly with each other#they are also not actually brotherd in case that wasnt obvious#the fluffy tabby is about a year older and came from a litter at a townhouse#and the shorthaired tabby came from a farm 40km outside of town
