The Fentons decide to take a family trip to Japan to spend time researching the ghosts/spirits there (and also just as a regular vacation too).

During this time, they happen to realize that something ghostly is tied to Danny. However, they can’t quite figure out what, nor have any of their devices seemed to interact with it without starting to hurt Danny in the process (which is unacceptable).

Thus, they decide to bite the bullet and reach out to an expert in the area, one who looks to specialize in a different method of dealing with spirits than them. Maybe he’ll be able to help.
