#Random#Archaeology#For reference he does not usually write like this about other sites he's excavated lol#Most Archaeologists don't write articles about sites like this#To be fair it is an extremely cool site#Like his article on the Jurgens site starts with a description of the site location that is so analytical and technical and dry#That it reads like a gps giving me directions to a dentist office#The difference between the start of both articles (which are otherwise very similar in content structure and even page number) is hilarious#I just wrote a final paper focused largely on this site if you're wondering why this came out of nowhere lol#These are actually from two separate articles about the same site one being a long detailed report#and the other a much shorter abridged description of the site#The long report starts with what I can only describe as a lovingly detailed Olsen-Chubbuck site fanfic
