#coworker sent me a link to join a study about neurodivergent librarians#and when i went to the site they said they had hit capacity on neurodivergent identifying people and needed more neurotypical people#and the reason for the study said something about neurodivergent people being underrepresented in libraries#like yall if anything i think neurodivergent people are over represented in libraries#especially when you include people without diagnosis#because thats going to trend towards people educated enough to recognize neurodivergent symptoms#plus the variety and physicality if tasks appeal to people with adhd#and the organizational systems appeal to autistic people#even just at my branch half of us are nd at the lowest#idk its interesting#if any of yall consider yourselves neurotypical librarians in the usa lmk ill send u the link#mel posts stuff
