okay I didn't like the ragad movie much on first watch (I've come around on it since. don't skewer me) but I still maintain that the ideal film adaptation of ragad would be animated, à la Duck Amuck. those two should be tortured by the hand of god continually erasing the background and drawing them into the next scene against their will. you understand my vision

#when they're flipping coins at the beginning and guil says there's an art to the building of suspense #and the next coin flip looks blank for like 2 beats [insert cartoon eye blink noise] and then the pencil of god pops in to draw heads on it #to be funny #anyway my only beef with the movie is that it's pretty conventionally shot ? idk it didn't take advantage of the medium change much #i felt like it could've had more fun with it in a way that couldn't work on stage #but like it's fine it's fun it's an okay version of what it's trying to do #reilly.txt #rosencrantz and guildenstern are dead
