I鈥檓 up to 38 hours at work this week assuming I don鈥檛 stay late tomorrow which would make it more.
My contract is for 25 hours a week. 馃檭
But in good news we hired two people today with two more maybes depending on what our store manager thinks of them. And one of them will be assistant store manager 馃檶 it鈥檒l definitely take a few months to train him up to that level but it鈥檚 a good sign that we鈥檝e hired someone for that role.
But I鈥檓 so tired and sore and I still have a whole day to go before I get a day off 馃槴 I feel so bad for our store manager doing 12-14 hour days 6 days a week for the last two weeks and for at least another week or two until our other manager is back off holidays.
I have next week off for music stuff and it鈥檚 just such unfortunate timing because yes I鈥檓 tired and sore but I also want to take some of that pressure of my manager because she鈥檚 struggling with it all.
So the last two weeks have felt like a month and I鈥檓 exhausted

Touching base very late (its almost not Tuesday here) to say I'm making my own Stardew Valley mod and the "not good enough" feels are kicking my a*s. It's one of those situations where for any part I'm proud of, I find two flaws somewhere else, and I'm lowkey worried I won't finish/publish it.
Feel free to answer like a work email and tell me to get my rear in gear. 馃檭
(also ilu and I am so excited to participate in writing for the 25 days Lex-mas yeehaw!)
Good evening!
Thanks for touching base with me this week, I really appreciate it! The news about the upcoming Stardew Valley mod is exciting, and I鈥檇 love to hear more about it. 馃檪
I know I鈥檝e had similar experience in feeling as though my work wouldn鈥檛 meet expectations, but i believe that it鈥檚 important to push through and then learn from the experience. It鈥檚 only a failure if we don鈥檛 learn something, right? I always like to celebrate any win, regardless of size. Maybe I didn鈥檛 finish a goal for the day, but I did manage to get that automation to work by trying some coding I鈥檇 never done before so I still came out on top since I learned something. We can be our own harshest critics, so what view as flaws may not be seen that way by the end user (and likely won鈥檛 even be noticed unless it crashes the game), so try to change your perspective or seek outside review.
Please let me know if there鈥檚 any way that I can assist or support you in working on this project!
Thank you!
Lex
