The robotic, stilted voice from the computer was deep. So deep, it made the table shake and the vibrations could be felt in Ed's chest. "My name is" --the voice shifted to a high pitched, near whine-- "Taaaaaaaalooooooos" --before it seemed to equalize in an uncanny, if stilted, mimicry of Ed's own voice that still partially unsettled himself.
