i’m always thinking abt when the interviewer asked david duchovny if mulder thought impure thoughts abt scully and he basically said something like “no. the way i play it is that he looks to her for her opinion. that’s sexy to people” and he was so right abt it and it was such a small, important detail that meant everything when it came to mulder and scully’s relationship.
