At this point, my issue is not the npcs being anti-god, because they’re npcs. They’re plot devices. They’re going to have different perspectives and different amounts of information about certain things. My issue is becoming the guest PCs that are so uniformly anti-pantheon and— for team issylra specifically— disliking them… because they didn’t do enough for them personally????? Because they didn’t “give them powers for funsies” (and that’s disregarding the whole idea that clerics are “given powers”)????? Because they’re not always nice to talk to????? We’re talking about cosmic beings that essentially created the world as it’s recognizable and THIS is why you’re a-okay with hearing out the leader of an apocalyptic cult???
