the sandmans lucifer design is so beautiful i admit i've been thinking of taking inspiration from it for melkor ... like the short fluffy, blonde, curly hair? to manwe's own long, fluffy, blonde, curly hair??? i am obsessed

#i never know whether to make them look like identical twins for the dramatic effect or to make them fulfill the light/dark aesthetic #there's also just something about melkor loving the only thing (manwe) that looks exactly like him #and manwe being reminded of melkor everytime he looks into the mirror #and the elves looking at manwe and seing melkor or the other way around ....
