[ V V S her diamonds ] – ch 05.
[10:10 a.m] Joohyun turns over, rustling the sheets like autumn leaves. She sleepily buries her face into the warmth of a sky-blue Chrome Hearts hoodie.
. . . . .
Seungwan looks up from the sink and over to the living room. Her head still pounds a little but the Ibuprofen seems to be kicking in. A soft smile traces her lips as she sees who’s asleep on the sofa. It really sucks that they’re both such hardworking students who’d rather be an hour late to a class than miss it, because it’s surely a crime to disturb someone so at peace they’re almost glowing in the sun’s morning rays.
And if the rumours are true, It’s also probably a crime to have her here at all. Seungwan thinks of all the ways she could get arrested for harbouring gangster daughters of mob leaders but ends up losing herself in the composition of Joohyun’s sleeping face.
Even her friends believed that whole dumb ‘secret gangster life’, but Seungwan doesn’t recall gangsters tossing and turning with such fluffy bed hair, looking so cute and tiny in her favourite oversized hoodie.
Joohyun rouses to the sound of gentle clinking and running water.
The faint scent of alcohol and detergent seeps into her nose and she yawns, trying to engulf herself in the toasty heat radiating across her body from– not her hoodie. Glancing down, she realises she doesn’t own the waffle beige pajama pants currently hugging her legs either.
Oh?
Suddenly feeling embarrassed, the older girl shifts off the sofa and grabs her own denim shorts from the floor beside her.
Minutes later, socked feet pad over to the girl in the kitchen, elbow-deep in sudsy water. Seungwan acts surprised when Joohyun hops onto the counter next to the sink.
“Morning, unnie,” she chirps, “did you sleep well?”
Joohyun hums an affirmative and nothing more, but the other girl already senses the multitude of questions running through her head.
“It’s okay, unnie,” she laughs sheepishly, causing an eyebrow to perk up. She gestures to the hoodie swallowing Joohyun’s petite frame. “I didn’t see anything, I swear. I even let you choose which of my pants you wanted.”
“Oh,” comes the reply. “What happened? Kinda hard to remember.”
Seungwan just smiles down. “I wouldn’t be surprised, unnie. You really went ham last night. I didn’t think you had it in you. It was fun to watch.”
Joohyun scoffs, running delicate fingers through disheveled waves. She pauses to watch the younger rinsing out the empty Hite Jinro bottles and stacking them upside down on the dish rack. “Why did you let me sleep? I could– I should’ve gone home.”
The girl shoots a quick glance in her direction, eyes widening at the way Joohyun’s bare thighs press together in her line of sight. She gulps and flutters a few blinks, shifting her attention back to the glass and sponge. “It– it wasn’t safe so late, even for a cab. It’s fine though,” she quickly adds, “Seul’s bus only arrives this evening, and Yerimie texted this morning saying she ate through Saeron’s fridge so she’s coming home tonight. So it wasn’t like you were intruding or anything.”
Joohyun suppresses a slight grin at the girl’s rosy ears. She plucks a freshly rinsed glass from Seungwan’s slippery grip.
“How do you get these so sparkly, Wan?” She inspects it like an artefact, completely changing the pace and throwing the junior off guard. “You could sell this to a museum, I bet.”
“I’m a barista, remember? It’s kinda the other third of my job.” Seungwan chuckles at the thought of her scratched up Ikea glasses in glass displays of their own, with fanatics fawning and taking pictures.
She racks the last glass and dries her hands. “Come on, unnie. We’re running a bit late. I know you can’t function without your caffeine so it’ll have to be campus coffee today.”
Joohyun’s eyes double in size and she claps. “Really? Wow I love that–”
Seungwan whips around to narrow her eyes.
“–you’re willing to lower your standards for me.”
“Thought so.”
. . . . .
[1:00 p.m] Son Seungwan stares at her strawberry-cream sandwich as her brain flicks through memories of last night.
. . . . .
“Yah,” Yerim fakes a punch right at Seungwan’s face, immediately flinging the girl from her spiraling thoughts. “Hell-o? Son Seung-wan re-port to base im-me-di-ate-ly,” she announces robotically, mimicking speaking into a walkie talkie.
“Huh? Yerimie?”
Yerim rolls her eyes. “ Finally. You good? You’ve been spaced out since lit this morning.”
She doesn’t get to ask why she saw her and Joohyun stumbling in through the fire exit twenty minutes late before three people– including the very person in question– are making their way over to the table.
Two trays set down on either side of Seungwan and one beside Yerim. They try not to drool at the sight of the fancy dishes; grilled beef simmered in sukiyaki broth, steaming chicken curry rice, golden-brown battered tempura udon accompanied by side snacks like cubed fruit and matcha ice cream. And don’t even start on the cream-topped, sprinkled drinks.
Because of the sheer number of study sessions they’ve organised, both parties quickly became more comfortable around each other.
“Hello,” Jennie greets while finding the perfect angle to Instagram her lunch. “You were gone a while Yerim-ah. Did you miss us?”
“Pshh, as if.” The girl tries to sound nonchalant but the excitement in her eyes is impossible to mask.
“Sure, kid,” Jennie smirks, and Yerim immediately breaks the fluster building inside her with that stupid bus joke Seungwan’s heard a thousand times.
Still, it gets the laughter pouring in.
Seungwan is internally awe-stricken. Yerimie is a freaking natural.
The table dissolves into mundane chatter, everyone eager to catch up with what each other’s done over the long weekend. Movies are discussed, restaurants are rated and stories are exchanged.
The voices fade into background noise that eventually falls right back as Seungwan starts to wonder things. Silly things.
From across her, she follows Joohyun’s steady hand, deftly gripping the springy udon between chopsticks and masterfully twirling them into the spoon for the perfect mouthful. She remembers that fist punching Lucas in the nose, remembers the lipstick bruises staining sharp knuckles, and then she wonders if that’s the first time something’s ever made her physically violent.
Then her gaze discreetly travels to Joohyun’s lips as she chews. Seungwan wonders the worst thing that has ever come from a mouth as pretty as hers. She wonders if she knows that she tightens the clamp around her bruised heart every time she calls her ‘Wan’, wants to know what it’d feel like to–
“Um, Seungwan?”
The poor kid is only just now realising her daydream is sitting right across her, talking to her roommate and best friend. “You’re right. She’s really spaced out today, huh.” She aims a coy smile at a hapless Seungwan, watching as rouge scribbles across those milky cheeks. “Is something wrong, Seungwan?”
“No, no! I’m fine!” she laughs, nibbling on the corner of her sandwich. “I’m just a little tired I guess.”
“Duh,” Sooyoung casually blurts. “Who knows what time you guys ended up sleeping last night.”
Jennie flinches to interject with some random statement to shut her the hell up but the cat’s already out of the bag.
“I’m sorry, what?!” Yerim cocks her head so hard she looks like a right-angle ruler. Jennie sighs at their idiot friend. Joohyun stays silent but her eyes twinkle mischievously, chin poised on an open palm.
Seungwan can’t breathe, she can’t look away, and she can’t move to help Yerim pick her jaw off the ground.
She can’t process any of it.
Not when Joohyun looks that pretty just… being.
. . . . .
[7:00 p.m] Seulgi barges in and immediately starts handing out little freebies and trinkets she’d acquired from her weekend dance trip. Her roommates are smitten with studio keychains, logo-embroidered plush face towels and a singular roll of toe-wrap tape.
. . . . .
“Wan-ah, what the heck? She spent the night?” Seulgi frantically points at the now cluttered sofa. “On that?”
Yerim nods solemnly, putting on her best betrayed expression. “And I heard it from Sooyoung unnie. The betrayal is real right now.”
The dancer perks up slightly. “Sooyoungie? How is she?”
The youngest laughs. “Right, how could I forget you guys are practically dating right now. ”
Seungwan reassures her with a pat on the back and a sly wink. “She’s fine, Seul. Miss her much?”
The girl hastily splutters a denial but the dust of pink settled in her cheeks tells quite a different story.
Yerim gets them back on track, waving a towel between her two friends’ faces. “Hello, Joohyun unnie plus Seungwan unnie? In the same room? Unattended?”
Seungwan gives up with tantrum legs kicking into the air to relieve the embarrassing heat in her face. “Ahh, it was nothing!!!”
“Wan, there are four Hite bottles in the dishrack and it was nothing??” Seulgi asks suspiciously. “Does she know that?”

Hey there! It’s the tokoyami and shoji anon! Poly please if you can but no rush! I love what you did already 💕 it was perfect 💕💕💕
Oh I'm glad you liked the ones I did before! And sorry again for misreading your ask previously!! Guys always let me know if I ever misread something. Thank you for requesting!! ❤️💜❤️
Walking upstairs at ungodly hours of the night, it wasn't an unusual occurrence for you. The loud music could be heard from outside the door, that's what woke you up, again. Your nightly routine for the past few weeks has been the same. As soon as you heard the music from your upstairs neighbors, you'd stomp over, demanding them to lower down the volume, but they could bearly hear the knocking on their door. But this time, you've had enough. You've lost so many hours of sleep, you look like you have been to deathland and back, it's unacceptable!
It was only after ten loud knocks on the door that they finally opened. Tall man in nothing but his sweatpants, sweatie abs on sight that left your mouth dry. Next to him was a much shorter man, with feather-like hair and sturdy beak, also drips of sweat rolling down his chiseled chest that had your thighs rubbing together. Two men stood before you, two men known as Shoji and Tokoyami, your neighbors. You've seem them a few times, met them in the elevator or when you're leaving the building, but said nothing more than a simple hey, they were too intimidating. But them on the other hand, had diffrent thoughts about you... Well maybe not that diffrent since they can see you drooling over them. They dreamt of having you sandwiched between their bodies, hear you moan their names. But atlas it was all a dream, right?
Well not with Tokoyami's genius! When you finally collected yourself and made it known why you were standing before them, he came up with an idea. "Well, do you rather hear us fuck? Because we sure hope you do, maybe even join...." He wasn't entirely lying. Glued to the floor, mouth agape at his suggestion, he couldn't help but laugh at your expression. Shoji following him suit, he pushed a bit to the side to allow a little path for you to come in. Peaking in, dimly lit room with some purplish red hues as the only source of light. Now that the music wasn't deafening loud you could make out the lyrics. Sensual and soft but with a rough and fast rythm to accompany it, flowing through your body and as if it's manipulating you, making you walk into the apartment.
Somehow you found yourself between the two men. A pair of lips painting your neck purple and blue, as hands roamed all over your body, getting rid of your clothes and throwing somewhere to be lost. Feeling a hard bulge poking at your ass, you threw your head back, eyes meeting black, lust fogged eyes. Though you didn't have much time to lose yourself in them as you felf something hard press between your lower lips. Cold and rigid, Tokoyami's beack was working miracle between your folds, catching your clit with every back and forth, every thrust of his hips ans his tongue delved as deeply as possible inside of you. Knees growing weak, legs trembling and lip bleeding from how hard your were biting down on it. Shoji noticed your action and he wasn't pleased. Making it his goal tonight to hear you scream, he was quick to pull down his sweats, revealing hard, long shaft, standing tall and proud. Slowly pushing Fumikage away only to slip inside of you. Head kissing your cervix already, veins grazing at your walls, you're going insane. And when shorter man decided to go back to his actions, tongue languidly circling your clit, sucking and devouring you, you really lost it. Eyes rolling so far back your skull, tongue lulling out as both men thrusted in and out of you. One of them hiting your gspot so perfectly as the other stimulated your bundle of nerves, you couldn't stop it. You couldn't stop the loud, high scream that came out of you as you reached your climax, coming on Shoji's dick, squeezing around him as your essence dripped down for Tokoyami to enjoy. If that's what you'll get everytime, maybe you'll let them play their loud music more often....

Week 3 (Jan 21 - 27)
Dzień dobry! Not German - keep reading to find out what language! :)
This post isn’t as long because I’ve actually been doing a lot of schoolwork (really putting the “study” in study abroad) and getting into a routine, which is really comforting. But I had some great experiences this week that I’m excited for you guys to read about!!
On Monday I mainly did some homework and went to class, but that night my friend Steph from Elon and I had dinner. She is on a J-term trip and they spent a night in Berlin so we got to meet up! It was so so wonderful to catch up and spend time together and definitely the piece of home I needed!!
On Tuesday, a few friends and I really wanted to check out the thrift and vintage stores in our neighborhood. There was so much stuff in them and one of them was so well laid out it felt like a museum you could touch. The clothes and other items were from all kinds of decades and was really interesting to look it. Tons and tons of fur coats too - guess they used to get fashionable for the cold Berlin winters!
On Wednesday, my International Finance class got to go to the Deutsche Bundesbank, which is the central bank of Germany. The head of their Political Relations department spoke with us about the role of the Deutsche Bundesbank in Germany in addition to the EU money market. It was very interesting to learn more about how their banking and money system is different than the US and his opinions on the economy. And, they had a pretty nice set-up for us with coffee and a bunch of snacks!
That night, one of my friends and I decided to try a Korean place nearby. He knew that I love different asian foods and I’ve never had Korean so I was super excited. I got Bi bim bap, which is apparently a pretty common dish, and it was so!!!!! incredible!!!! It’s a rice dish with beef and different vegetables on top and I'm pretty sure it’s my new favorite asian dish (except for Taipei - don’t worry.) They also serve kimchi beforehand and it was like a spicy sauerkraut and it was also so good. Hite is a Korean beer, which was also good :)
On Thursday, two of my friends and I went to the Kennedy Museum in Berlin. The museum is all photos and focuses on JFK’s visit to Berlin in 1963 where he did his famous “Ich bin ein Berliner” speech. I am so glad we went - the photos were fascinating and it gave such an interesting perspective in terms of Cold War history. They had a lot of photos of JFK in Berlin, but they also had a lot of photos of his entire life which was also fascinating, including a lot on Jackie whom you all know is one of my role models. The reason we went, though, is because they had a special exhibition on First Ladies with pictures and information on not only Jackie O, but also Nancy Reagan, Hillary Clinton, and Michelle Obama. This was so so cool for me becuase I admire them all and loved seeing all the great things they accomplished through photos. They didn’t allow us to take pictures, but I did take a photo outside of vines growing on some buildings that I thought was cool!
Afterward, we went to this cafe near my dorm. I got a friend chicken sandwich with mangoes on it, and I had to talk about it on the blog because those are two of my favorite foods combined and it was amazing. Also I was so excited about it that I forgot to take a picture until halfway through, so here’s a picture of a half-eaten but very delicious sandwich.
On Friday, I unfortunately had to go to two classes. Usually I don’t have class on Friday, but twice a block we have to go an extra day of the week and this was the day. BUT IT STARTED SNOWING THAT MORNING!!! It hasn’t snowed since we’ve been here and it was a beautiful, light, powdery-dusty snow.
My History class went on an excursion to the Topography of Terror, which is a museum housed in the former headquarters of the Gestapo. Inside, they have pictures and information about the Nazis in Germany and around Europe, concentration camps, and WWII in Berlin. The museum is laid out very well - they show all of the major cities and towns in Germany and give information on what they call “the survivors, the perpetrators, and the aftermath” for each place. They also give information about each country in Europe that was affected by WWII, which allowed us to see how far reaching the war was. One of the things I have been the most interested to learn about here is how Germany has handled their past in terms of the Holocaust and WWII. This museum is a perfect example of how the country pays homage wherever they can to the victims of the holocaust and WWII in an informational and respectful way. In my opinion, they have done an incredible job of making their memorials and museums educational and interesting, not just heavy, sad monuments that people forget about or don’t want to accept as they walk by. In class, we also read an article about what Germany has done with all the buildings that were prominent Nazi establishments. They country has worked really hard to turn almost all of them into some sort of educational memorial/museum, in an effort to "accept the burden of our history but we also intend to write a new chapter in our history," as the article stated. In no way does it feel like they’re trying to erase or cover up their past, but it’s very evident that they want you to learn from it. I don’t have any pictures from the exhibit, but it was a really great experience.
On a lighter note of German history, that night we went to a traditional Bavarian beer hall. It’s based on a famous one in Munich and I think they now have the same one in different parts of Germany, so it was kind of touristy but definitely fun. I don’t think they sold anything less than a liter of beer, but I actually really liked the beer I got (which was good because a liter is a lot.) They have big communal tables, live music, and all the waiters wear lederhosen and traditional Bavarian clothing.
And then, I got the currywurst of all currywursts. It was amazing.
Poznań, Poland
On Saturday we took a bus to a small Polish town called Poznań. It was about a 3.5 hour bus ride, but the bus was a coach bus, so I got homework done while riding and it was actually really nice.
This little town was one of the cutest and coolest places I’ve been. Poland is such an interesting country with a lot of history, and Poznań was a perfect place to just do a one-night weekend trip. Once we got there, we went to the Rugalowe Museum. Rugalowe is a croissant-like pastry that Poznań is known for and the museum shows you how they’re made and gives a little history about the town. The guys who did the presentation were really funny and we had so much fun. They let the audience help with the different steps of making the croissants, and my roommate and I got to roll the croissants! We did a pretty good job, in my opinion. The croissants look a lot like regular croissants, but they have a raisin, cinnamon, almond filling and a glaze on top and are so yummy!!
The sample:
Afterwards we walked about the Old Town Square, which was absolutely beautiful. It snowed the morning before we got there, so there was little dusting that made it even more gorgeous. And we went around sunset so the lighting was really cool.
We had dinner at a local Polish restaurant. I got the fried pork, which was basically schnitzel. The Polish and German foods are pretty similar. Afterwards we walked around the square at night, which was also really nice. And then we went to a really cute cafe for expresso. I know, so European of us :)
On our way back to our Airbnb, we wanted to walk past this big castle that was built by the Germans during 1905, making it the youngest castle in Europe. It was then supposed to be one of Hitler’s residences but renovations were stopped in 1943 because Germany wasn’t doing well in the war. It was later turned into barracks used by the Polish People’s Army. They also have a memorial on the outside for three mathematicians who were students at Poznań University. They were working with the Polish government and basically cracked important parts of the Enigma code, which was a complex cipher used by the Germans so that the Allies couldn’t read their messages. It’s the same basis as The Imitation Game movie, but these three students don’t get any credit even though they made really important strides before the guy in the movie. It was really interesting and cool that it happened in this little town! There was also a statue of the numbers 1956, which symbolizes the year of the Poznań Protests, which were against the communist government of the Polish People’s Republic.
Sunday morning, we went to a really cool cafe with records on the wall.
Then we walked around the square a little more to see it in daylight. We also went inside the pink church, which was much larger than I was expecting!
We promise we didn’t intentionally plan to match each other or the church!! :)
That afternoon, we went to a really cute place that served only Pierogies, which is a traditional Polish dumpling. The ladies were making them right there in the store and they were so so sooooo good. I got a traditional potato one, a duck one, and a pumpkin filled one.
After that, we took the bus back to Berlin. It was such a great trip and I’m so glad we got to experience another culture for the weekend! I really loved seeing a smaller town and learning a little more about Poland.
It was a great week! I miss you all!!!

May 22
We left our campground about 10 o'clock and headed toward Sequim, a small town between there and Port Townsend where we will go whale watching and take a ferry across the sound to Coupeville, Washington. It was a nice leisurely drive and the we found our campground easily at the Marina. Our front yard is Puget Sound. We took a walk downtown to check out a restaurant for some seafood and to check the location of the ferry for Monday morning. We saw signs for farmers market and bought two frozen crab cakes to have in a couple of days with good Aiola sauce and with some salad. The guys at the ferry dock were very friendly and helpful about where we could park our RV after a whale watching trip so we would not have to stay another night in another RV park. The receptionist at the whale watching to office said we could park the RV all day there at their parking area. That turned out to be only during the day not overnight.
We decided to walk and town and have some fresh seafood. The receptionist at the RV park suggested we try a new restaurant called Salty Girls. They have a restaurant in the nearby town about 25miles away and it has a good reputation. They have a list of Local draft beers that changes daily. We opted for the honey blonde and the clams and mussels appetizer with sourdough bread. We got the last batch of muscles, made in wine sauce with onions and garlic. They were wonderful and the people were very helpful and pleasant. We weren’t quite full so we had some prawns with cocktail sauce, also very good. The chef even showed Elizabeth a recipe he uses for the cocktail sauce which had rice wine vinegar which she doesn't use in her cocktail sauce but it was very good. We have a small issue with our next door neighbor who connected his sewer drain to our sewer connection. I said it to him as we were leaving for dinner that that was our connection. He said just disconnect it and dump your tank tomorrow before you leave. That's not a real solution because I am not going to touch his equipment and if I had it off while I drain my tanks, he could pollute the ground if he flushed his commode. I decided to talk to the camp managers in the morning and they said he was not right. They would look into it. I think. I figure the next person that pulls in will want to connect their sewer directly to the drain and that will be a problem. We only connect when we're dumping our tanks and I ask them to talk to him after we left. I told them I normally would have taken him up on that offer and ripped it out of the connection and left it lying on the ground but I have mellowed as I got older. They were glad that I came to talk to them first. They told us where we could go down and empty spot they leave open for “dry” campers to dump their tanks on our way out. I’d like to be there when and if they tell him to move his RV and set it up properly if they do.

What just took our time on the 23rd looking around town and finding a parking place for the whale watching trip. It was a nice boat and they socially distanced everyone. We could take your mask off when we got on board because we had been vaccinated. We first found 2 pods of orca whales and followed them for about a ½ hour or so then the captain went looking for a gray whale that had been spotted farther out by another member of the team. We settled in for a long ride out toward the ocean in the Puget Sound. We saw some blows I was able to go out on the front deck to see the whales. I got some good shots but it's very hard to get everything perfectly right as the whale is surfacing and then diving. The we went to find a humpback whale. We found one and I got a decent shot for the situation. It was a fun experience, but very cold and windy when you're on the foredeck. We couldn't stand there unless we were driving slowly but that was OK. We found a 24-hour parking spot near a library downtown and dropped anchor for the night. We wanted to test our new batteries and they worked very well. I went out to put something in the back storage and saw couple in a gravel parking lot behind us. I said I didn't know that was a 24 hour parking spot and they asked me if that was our Van. They were travelling from northern Minnesota. We chatted for a little bit, duh! And I asked them to come over for a glass of wine after they finish their grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup. One of our favorite meals which we don't meet very often anymore. Anna and Roman came over later. We had a very nice conversation and his grandfather has a Leisure Travel Van. They both just graduated from college and were taken 2 and a 1/2 week trip before they decided what they were going to do later. Roman has a degree in early elementary school K – 8. Anna majored in psychology and thinks she would like to be a middle school counsellor. They were very intelligent and grounded. We told him that Tulsa is offering some pretty good bonuses for young people to come and live for a year. We feel that they will do very well no matter where they go with their positive outlook and a warm friendly demeanor. It’s a pleasure to meet young people who have a “clue”. We guess there’s hope for the world after all.
May 24
We had and an uneventful night in the parking lot and got up early to get ready for the ferry. we drove down an hour and a 1/2 early to scope out the area. The attendant at the ticket booth let us come in and park as the 1st vehicle in lane one. We will head to the Langley gate of the naval base on Whitby island to get checked in for our campground tonight. Everything went well at the campground. It’s the nicest one so far and we were able to get some laundry done on the “cheap” because military RV parks aren’t trying to make a profit. When we checked in at ID visitor’s center, the lady asked if we wanted a yearlong pass and I said yes, you never know when we’ll be back. Now we have two more “compliant” ID cards good for one year, whether we come back here or not!
May 25, 2021
Hitting the road now. Just wanted to get something up before we head to Winthrop to visit some friends we met in Hite, Utah that I fixed the faucet for in their RV. I’ll upload some cool videos later when I have time and more bandwidth. Ciao
Scroll down to see some cool pics of whales, etc.
