You’d been invited to the compound. A casual get together, Wanda had explained. But even you knew what a night of chatting and drinking under dimmed lights meant. The Avengers wanted to scope out Wanda Maximoff's new squeeze.

Even so, who were you to turn down free drinks supplied by Tony Stark himself?

“So, what do you guys do for fun around here?” You found yourself asking, a beer or two in and comfortable enough to let your curiosity show. You scanned the room dramatically, smirking as you heard the group humorously scoff at your lack of acknowledgement to a campus full of gadgets and gizmos.

Tony, never one to miss a chance to show off, gathered, piped up, “well as it so happens, I stumbled upon something that might peak your interests”. He got up from where he was sprawled out on the floor, rummaged through a chest in the corner, and spotlighted a tatty looking box to the group in triumph. “I present to you, tonight’s in house entertainment”

Natasha raised an eyebrow in judgment. “A ouija board, seriously? You do realise it’s just a toy, right?”

Tony waved her off with a grin. “Oh, come on, Natasha. It’s just a little bit of harmless fun. What’s the worst that could happen?”

Thor’s booming laughter filled the room. “I agree with Stark! We have faced gods and monsters; surely a simple board game poses no threat!”

Bruce, ever the cautious one, chimed in. “There’s a psychological phenomenon called the ideomotor effect that often explains the movement of the-“

“I’m in!” Clint announced, his eyes alight with mischief. “Let’s see if we can conjure up some friendly neighborhood spirits”

Wanda turns to you, knowing you’re not too great with the land of the paranormal. But you find her expression curious. “Actually, it might be interesting to see what messages get spelled out. And I’m kinda over FRIDAY making us guess how many calories are in each type of Thor's special mead. Who’s with me?”

With the decision made, you take a shaky breath and you all gather around a table, removing beer bottles and empty snack bowls to clear space. Tony set up the ouija board, and you watched as he placed the planchette at the center, his face a slight with mischief.

As everyone placed their fingers lightly on the planchette, Tony cleared his throat theatrically. “Okay, spirits of the compound, if you're out there, give us a sign”

For a moment, nothing happened. The room was filled with anticipation until suddenly, the planchette jerked beneath your fingertips, causing a few startled gasps amongst the group. It spelled out "H-E-L-L-O"

Clint chuckled nervously. "Guess we got a welcoming committee"

You exchanged puzzled glances, wondering if someone was playing a prank on the new kid. But then, the planchette began moving more rapidly, spelling out words with urgency.

"G-E-T O-U-T”

The room grew tense as the messages became more unsettling. Natasha furrowed her brow. "Is someone messing with us?"

Before anyone could respond, the planchette started moving even faster, this time spelling out the message, "Y-O-U S-H-O-U-L-D-N-T H-A-V-E C-O-M-E"

Jumping in your seat, you looked around the room, trying to find the source of what you deemed to be a sick joke. Bruce's eyes widened. His scientific mind was racing, trying to explain the phenomenon, or at least a logical way to disprove it.

Perhaps it was time for you to all throw in the towel. To admit that your skepticism was simply ignorance of willingness to broaden your opinions on such things.

Just as the tension in the room was reaching its peak, Wanda, who had remained surprisingly silent during this ordeal, decided to intervene. She focused her gaze on the planchette, her eyes glowing with a faint scarlet hue. The planchette abruptly stopped, hovering in mid-air for a moment before slowly spelling out, "I-T-W-A-S-U-S"

You blinked in confusion, not sure what to make of this. Clint couldn't help but burst into laughter, unable to contain himself any longer. "Okay, okay, he started, looking at Wanda. "It was all a prank"

Wanda gave you a mischievous smile as she continued to manipulate the planchette with her powers. The rest of the group all now laughing along around you.

Finally, Tony piped up from across the table "Welcome to the club, kid. Consider this your initiation. We couldn't resist having a little fun with the fresh meat”

It dawned on you in that moment. As your heart rate started to slow down and Wanda was placing soft kisses over your jaw, that this had been set up from the beginning.

You couldn't help but shake your head in disbelief, chuckling at the elaborate prank they had pulled on you. Wanda's eyes sparkled with amusement as she leaned in closer to you, her lips dangerously close to yours. "Well, looks like you’re stuck with us” she whispered, her voice husky, making you shiver in your seat.

It seemed you had passed their initiation test with flying colors. And as the night continued with shared stories, laughter, more drinks, you couldn't help but feel a warm sense of belonging among this extraordinary group of people.

He’s never affectionate publicly. Behind closed doors, though- well maybe he’s not your stereotypical lovey-dovey type, but hey-ho, he shows it in his own little way. A few hugs, but mostly through making you things. Music boxes, little figures and robots that wind up, you name it, he’ll try and make it. 

B - Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? Where does the friendship start?)

He’s not a friendly man, typically. He’s cold, and driven only by his motives. It takes a long time for him to warm up to you, but when he eventually does he is always by your side, whenever you should need him. Be it for violence, or for an ear to pour your thoughts into- even though half the time you swear he’s not listening completely. 

C - Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Heisenberg likes warm cuddles above all others. The kind where he can pull you close and hold you there for a while- he likes feeling you against his chest. It’s comforting to him, after years of no affection and a torturous living experience. 

D - Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking, cleaning, ect?)

Karl is not particularly skilled in any domestic skill. He’s very mediocre at cooking, and he can’t clean to save his life- his factory is littered with dust and other probably very harmful particles. He isn’t very good in a domestic environment at all, really. 

E - Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

Blunter than a broken pencil I’m afraid. He’s never had to hide something from you in the past, so why should this be any different? He would not want to beat around the bush here, he’d annoy himself with pleasantries and euphemisms. 

F - Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? Do they wanna get married?)

He’s perfectly fine staying as partners, without marriage looming over the pair of you. Quite frankly, he doesn’t think it’s worth it.  “A piece of damn paper to show someone your fucking devotion? Bullshit.” 

G - Gentle (How gentle are they both physically and emotionally?)

Unless you’re shaking like a leaf or have specifically asked him to be gentle with or around you, he’s not going to be. He’ll treat you much how he treats most others- with a little bit of affection for zest and flavour every now and then. 

H - Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it, and what are they like?)

While he likes cuddles, he isn’t a huge fan of hugs. He thinks they’re too short to show any real affection, and often get in the way of whatever task the recipient is trying to perform.  

I - I Love You (How fast do they say the “love” word?)

S l o w l y. This man has gone through some stuff, and doesn’t want to get attached to people despite falling for you. Give him a chance. 

J - Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What are they like when jealous?)

Okay so he may be “non-committal” in a loose sense of the term, but this man is one jealous motherfucker. And he gets angry. I’m talking  punching the wall, lashing out and breaking shit kind of angry. It’s mostly because of a nagging fear that not only will he lose you to someone you think is better or less monstrous than he is, but also in part due to a feeling that because of what he was forced to become, he isn’t good enough to keep you for himself. 

K - Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

He kisses you on your hands or neck mostly. Those are his favourite places to kiss you. He occasionally kisses you on the inside of your wrist. If you have any scars as well, he’ll kiss them. 

L - Little Ones (How are they around kids?)

It depends. Sometimes he’s the perfect uncle figure, others he’s a whirlwind of rage. If you’re taking him to see some children for a prolonged amount of time, please check how he’s acting and feeling on the day so there isn’t some sort of horrific accident. 

M - Morning (What are mornings like with them?)

There’s nothing special about them, he’s usually up long before you are. He doesn’t leave anything like a hot beverage behind, unless it’s a special occasion that he’s remembered- like a birthday or anniversary. 

N - Nights (How are nights spent with them?)

He often tells you to go to bed before him, as he’s usually working on something, and would rather not have to worry about you being down in his factory and workshop. 

O - Open (When do they open up about themselves?)

When he’s extremely angry. He gets riled up, then will start to spill facts and secrets while hardly even realising it. 

P - Patience (How easily angered are they?)

He has a very short fuse and a violent temper, to say the least. There’s a reason the man swears so much. Though he will often apologise if he’s scared you after an outburst. 

Q - Quizzes (How much do they remember about you?)

He remembers the basic things at the very least- Your name, your habits on eating and drinking, what you do to amuse yourself. He’s quite observant, actually. 

R - Remember (Favorite memory with you?)

He made you a small music box once. The past part of his day, or his entire week, was seeing your smile as you opened it and listened to it for the first time. It was the widest he’d ever seen you smile, and he loved the feeling it gave him. 

S - Security (How protective are they?)

Very. One particular other Lord- “Lady Super-Sized Bitch,” as Heisenberg has dubbed her- is very interested in your presence, and Heisenberg has made it very much his business to keep you practically under lock and key to keep you safe. And when Ethan Winters comes around? Ooh, boy. You ain’t leaving his sight. 

T - Try (How much effort do they put in?)

He does try- through making trinkets and gadgets to both help you and show his affection. Sometimes it may not always seem that way though, with his outbursts and his tantrums. 

U - Ugly (What are their bad habits?)

He smokes. You tried to get him to quit once, then stopped when you realised it made him more irritable. 

V - Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

He’s not that concerned. If he’s still kicking... Well that’s all that matters to him. 

W - Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He’d feel that something’s wrong, something’s not right- a cog missing from a machine, in a sense. And he hates that feeling. 

X - Xtra (Random HC)

This man would die for some ice-cream. You bring him a tub of the stuff- BAM, instant good mood for the next like two days. 

Y - Yuck (Things they don’t like either in general or a partner?)

This man is not fussy, in the slightest. 

Z - Zzz (Sleep habits)

He basically doesn’t, he gets so little it’s a wonder he can actually function normally.

Kyoya shows affection very subtly. Honestly you might feel like you’re stuck in a Victorian novel especially at the beginning of your relationship. He’ll brush his hand along the back of yours and then smile at you like oh that was intentional, ok. He’s really trying his best, but he’s not very obvious with his affection, all of his love tends to be conveyed through words and actions of caring.

B: Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

As a best friend, Kyoya is lowkey a gossip. He’s not going to tell everyone what information he has but if you come up to him complaining about how so and so was bothering you, he’s already got a journal full of secrets and he’s ready to ruin someone’s career.

C: Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

Kyoya likes to cuddle but he prefers to be the big spoon, this is solely because he doesn’t want to be woken up early just because you had to go to the bathroom or something. He only cuddles during night time and if you do wake up before him, he’s pretty easily fooled if you just replace your body with a pillow.

D: Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He definitely wants to settle own, not just because of his family and him feeling like he’s obligated to settle down, but also just because he’s a traditional person in the sense that he wants to marry the person he fell in love with. As for domestic skills, Kyoya can’t cook or clean for SHIT. The only skill he’s got is probably managing finances and things along those lines but if you asked him to cook, he’d somehow find a way to burn water, just a bad time for everyone involved.

E: Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

If Kyoya doesn’t break up with you via text message (or letter if he’s feeling fancy), he honestly probably just tells you upfront that he doesn’t view your relationship as something he has a vested interest in continuing. Ouch. 

F: Fiance(e) (How would they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Commitment for Kyoya has always ben somewhat of an obligation. He feels like he has to propose to you if you’re relationship is becoming serious. He’ll discuss it with you of course, but the man is very committed to those he loves and what better way to show that than marriage?

G: Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

Not very physically gentle, again, he’s just not very physically affectionate. When he does initiate physical affection with you it’s always with a measure of unsureness and caution. Emotionally, he’s a bit more gentle. Kyoya looks for the type of person who can keep up with him especially intellectually, with him it’s like no words are needed, you both just get it.

H: Hugs( Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Kyoya’s hugs kinda suck. He doesn’t give them often, let alone initiate them, and if you hug him, he’ll just stand there kinda surprised and at a loss for what to do. At least he’s nice to hug, he’s got this cologne that smells like a warm fireplace during a winter storm that smells so comforting.

I: I love you (How fast do they say the L-word)

You definitely say ‘I love you’ before Kyoya. He expresses his love through tender gazes and lovesick smiles so he definitely assumes you get the message. However, if you express to Kyoya that you’d like to hear him say that he loves you, he’ll oblige.

J: Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous)

Kyoya doesn’t really get jealous, it’s not a matter of arrogance, more like, he knows that you’re with him and he’s with you. He doesn’t act out either on the off chance that he does get jealous because he was raised to bottle things up. In fact, the most Kyoya’s ever been jealous was in the beginning of your relationship/before you were dating where he was sure someone was gonna come by and sweep you away.

K: Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

The way Kyoya kisses is by cradling your face and just kinda going for it. He prefers to kiss you on the lips but he doesn’t mind placing them elsewhere if things get more intimate.

L: Little ones (How are they around children)

Kyoya kind of sucks around children. He’s not rude to them or anything of that sort but he just doesn’t find himself having anything in common with them and doesn’t really care for the topics they find interesting.

Mornings with Kyoya depend on if he’s off or not. If he has work or an early morning obligation of some sort, you’ll probably have to wake him up. He sets alarms but he’ll just swat at his alarm and then go back to bed, can’t exactly do that with your s/o now can you? However, if he has the day off or doesn’t have to wake up early, he won’t let you leave the bed until he’s ready to wake up. He’s surprisingly hard to move when he’s dead asleep like that.

N: Night (How are nights spent with them?)

Nights with Kyoya, he tends to stay up late and then just pass out on the nearest surface. If you happen to be awake long enough or pass him on the way to the kitchen/bathroom/etc., please move him into your bed. He will complain about his back problems if you don’t, if you can’t move him (which fair tbh he does deadweight) please give him a blanket and pillow, when he wakes up, it means the world to him.

O: Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Kyoya reveals things very gradually to you over time, he’s a very layered person and while certain aspects of his true personality may bubble up, you’re gonna have to put the full picture together on your own. Unless you’re like Tamaki and can just see through all his bs. 

P: Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Kyoya is actually pretty easy to anger. This is because of his no nonsense attitude as well as his general grumpiness with the world. Although, no anger can top Kyoya’s anger from being woken up early.

Q: Quizzes (How much would they remember about you?  Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

Kyoya remembers every detail you’re willing to share with him. He writes most of it in his notebook but somethings he likes to keep to himself and surprise you with later on.

R: Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

His favorite moment in your relationship was when you suggested your next date be at a flower viewing. Kyoya initially thought it might just be like a boring “commoner” thing to do but as the date went on, he ended up really enjoying himself. The sight of you surrounded by flowers was also a plus

S: Security (How protective are they? How would they like to be protected?)

Kyoya’s family has essentially a private police force, in addition he also has personal guards, best believe, you are protected. Don’t even worry about trying to protect him either, he has people on payroll for that

T: Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Kyoya puts a lot of effort into dates, anniversaries, and gifts. The man always knows when there’s a special occasion coming up and has already planned for every step of the day. As for dates in general, he likes to spoil you. He has absolutely no problem with flying you to somewhere like Okinawa for example, just because

U: Ugly (What are some bad habits of theirs? (I’m gonna add arguments here because they aren’t on the prompt list I found))

A bad habit Kyoya has is that he tends to try and test people and their limits with no prompting. He’s very secretive in general so that plus his sudden decisions to test people can lead to some bad arguments. The worst argument you’ve gotten into to date is when he suddenly started flirting back with his guests during the regular day and you got jealous and snapped.

V: Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?)

Kyoya is concerned with his looks in the sense that he has a reputation to uphold. He’s not arrogant by any means but he does take pride in looking good. Plus Tamaki recommended a skin care routine to him once and now he’s hooked

W: Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

He views you as his better, he doesn’t feel incomplete without you but he can feel himself turning back into his sort of middle school self pre-Tamaki when you aren’t around.

X: (E)xes (Any previous relationship experience. How does that factor into your current relationship?)

He has no previous relationship experience. He has experience flirting of course and he’s had crushes before but he’s new to this, please be gentle.

Y: Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner)

Kyoya doesn’t like people with forceful personalities. He tolerates it for the sake of being polite and his image if nothing else but this man cannot stand when people are pushy and always have to get their way. He also hates boring people.

Canonically Kyoya is a heavy sleeper, this can be kind of an issue at times. He’s a hard worker who stays up late on things he’s passionate about which means he might fall asleep on whatever’s closest. There’s been more than one occasion where you’ve walked over to him sound asleep on his laptop with a document covered in keysmash from where he slumped on the computer.

He really exercises himself and this helps with the stamina; he can last up to four or five rounds but if he needs it Lance can have more "access" to his energy using a few of his dragon powers (he doesn't transform thought). Anyway he knows that lasting five round isn't really a normal thing and makes you take rests between rounds, always asking if you are done or not.

T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)

When he was young and naive (dramatic) one of his partners gave him one but he didn't know how to use it so he just haves it for you. In any case Lance is very curious about them but is very shy to ask if he can use it.

During the first times he was a little bit shy but he gained experience and now he's a teaser by heart. All because he loves to see your teary face.

Not really loud, the trick here is that his voice is more...low pitched and it gives that impression. Most of the sound that he does are growls and heavy breathing but may moan louder if you hit his soft spot.

Like Valkyon he used to have some night stands but left them when he decided to destroy Eldarya but sometimes he used to sleep with a few women (and one or two men) of his army (just for fun and both parts were 100% agree with this).

Yamcha is incredibly affectionate. He shows his affection through gifts and physical touch. He will always look out for you too and make sure you are doing your best. He is very supportive as a friend and lover, so really he’s just so nice all around.

Yamcha is a fun loving friend. He loves to hang out with you and just do fun things. He likes to do stuff like go-karting, mini golf, going to play some arcade games, hikes in the mountains or even just watching a movie. He would be the type to introduce himself to you first and it wouldn’t take long for you two to hit things off.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

He loves to cuddle! Nothing better than to hold you close and wrap himself around you to keep you warm and comforted. One of his favorite things to do with you is to watch a movie with you and cuddle up on the couch. If it’s cold outside, you can expect some yummy hot cocoa and some cookies to go with those sweet cuddles. Yamcha loves holding you to his chest and stroking your hair or massaging you.

Yamcha would love to settle down with you if he gets the chance to. He’s not the most keen on cooking and cleaning, but he would do it for you. It would be bitter, sad and terrible. Yamcha would hate it. He hates the idea of hurting you. It would take everything deep inside of him to not be cold about it. If he has to break up with you because of something you did, it’s very bitter and mean. But if you break up because of something he did, he’s going to be so devastated.

All Yamcha wants is a wife. He wants someone to make him feel loved and supported all the time. Someone he can build a life together and support and just be happy with. Nothing would make him more happy than if you were to settle down as soon as you felt ready for it.

He’s very gentle. He loves making sure he doesn’t use his strength on you, seeing as he is very strong and he doesn’t always know his own strength. In terms of emotionally, he is generally gentle and sweet but sometimes he may crack jokes that only he finds funny and that might hurt your feelings. If that’s the case, all you need to do is tell him and he will apologize.

He loves to hug! They are tight, warm and just feel so safe and secure. He will hug you any chance he gets. It just feels so nice to him. Holding you in his arms is one of the best feelings in the whole world. He will do anything to have his hands on you.

Yamcha falls for people a little too quickly, and because he has always had this phobia of talking to girls, it just makes everything worse. He gets pretty jealous. If anyone thinks they can get their hands on you, you better believe that Yamcha is going to turn possessive. It can get pretty dark when he’s jealous, so you may need to reassure him. It’s not his fault, he has some insecurities.

Yamcha loves to give all kinds of kisses. It depends on his mood and what part of your body he’s kissing. He loves kissing you whenever and wherever. His favorite places to kiss you are your lips, your tits and your inner thighs. On himself, anywhere goes.

He’s not bad with children. He’s funny and fun, and he treats them with kindness. He would be such a good father if you wanted to have children with Yamcha. He would be so doting and teach them so much. He’s patient and understanding, so you know he would be so sweet with your children.

It wouldn’t take too long for him to start opening up to you. He would probably leave some details out until you know each other fairly well. He doesn’t want to make you worry too much or scare you off. He’s patient with you and if you are patient with him, he will share some secrets with you.

It depends on the situation with Yamcha. For the most part, he can keep his cool. He can be cocky sometimes if someone tests his patience, but he’s not meaning to be too cruel. He wants to be level headed.

He remembers a lot about you. It means so much to him to be able to remember your favorite colors, foods, movies and music. There’s no way he’ll ever forget your birthday or your anniversary. He may be a knucklehead from time to time, but he’s got a very good memory...especially if it involves you.

The first time you said “I love you”. That’s his favorite memory. You were blushing and being so soft. He felt how genuine you were being just by your soft kisses. The way you held him close, holding onto him as if he might float away any second. It’s just the greatest memory for Yamcha.

He can be very protective, but he does love to give you space and time to do your own hobbies and interests. If you need to be protected, he will fight and defeat anyone causing you grief. He doesn’t mind if you try to protect him, but he’d feel so guilty if you got hurt trying to protect him.

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Felix gets very shy whenever he’s affectionate with you. He’ll cling to you, especially when there’s no one else around. He’s incredibly cuddly and loves to be held by you, but when it comes to being around other people, he’ll tend to be much more reserved.

B ⇴ BEFORE DATING

You gravitated towards Felix as soon as you met him because he was quite shy. You were desperate to encourage him to come out of his shell and feel comfortable around you which also meant he warmed to you well. He found himself feeling very relaxed around you very quickly, in amongst big crowds, he liked to have you with him as a bit of a safety blanket.

C ⇴ CONFESSION

He was quite nervous to confess his feelings to you because he was terrified that you wouldn’t feel the same way. In the end he turned to Chan for a bit of advice, who had spotted from the moment the two of you met that there was an instant attraction there. With Chan’s advice he pulled you aside one night to tell you how he felt, you could tell he was nervous, but as soon as you admitted to him how you felt too, his nerves disappeared.

Prepare for a lot of dates revolving around food, I’d love to tell you Felix wouldn’t be the cliché boyfriend who cooked you brownies and cookies, but he most definitely would. If he’s not in the mood for cooking, he likes to head out and do something physical so he can show off to you. If he’s honest, he doesn’t mind where your dates are, sometimes just the two of you being at the dorm together is enough for him. Just being in your company is enough, he’s never going to expect too much of you or your dates.

Dating had never been of any interest to Felix until he met you. Sure, he had female friends in Korea and Australia, but he never saw anything romantic with them. So much of his attention had been on trying to establish his career that he chose to just wait for love to find him. He never imagined that it would find him so young and so quickly, that was until he met you. He was keen to keep a lot of your relationship private, not just out of fear, but also because it was new to him, and he still had a lot to learn before anyone found out about you both.

F ⇴ FIGHTING

If there’s one person who will never fight with you, it’s Felix. He simply doesn’t have a bad bone in his body. Any hint of conflict will make him anxious; he’ll tend to cower away before anything can even remotely blow up. He always makes sure to treat you well, even if there are times when he’ll disagree with you, he’ll listen to your opinion and try to understand before politely telling you how he feels. There are very few times that Felix will even give you the chance to argue with him, he’s far too relaxed and nervous for you to get angry with.

G ⇴ GETTING TO KNOW HIS FAMILY

You knew straight away how important his family were to him and how desperate they were for him to find someone to look after him so far away. What mattered most to Felix was that his sisters instantly took a liking to you, their seal of approval was so important to him, so to see them happy meant he was happy too.

At times he struggled to feel at home still in South Korea, and the dorm was his safe haven to escape from it all. He’d made it clear to you that he was in no rush to move out of the dorm, which you were more than happy to acknowledge, but eventually he knew that he was keen to find a place just for the two of you to call home.

He was so nervous the night he told you he loved you for the first time. Felix had always wanted to be the one to say it first, but he never anticipated it would make him as shy as it did. As soon as the words left his lips, he buried himself into the crook of your neck refusing to look at you. Your hand had to pull his face away from you so eventually you could meet his eyes and peck his lips.

Felix is very much aware he’s not the loudest person in the room, which means he tends to back away from situations. He’s not one to be very obvious about his jealousy, but you can tell when he slips away from a conversation or starts nervously playing with his hands that he’s feeling jealous. He’ll never confront a situation if he’s worried about it, but he knows you’re too attentive to let him feel jealous for too long. You’ll soon find him and reassure him in any situation that there’s nothing for him to worry about.

The two of you were far too young to even entertain serious discussions about having a family, but that didn’t stop the two of you having plenty of late-night chats about the future, and that included children. You both soon realised you shared similar dreams of what your future would look like, which of course, excited you both. Whenever Felix got nervous, he’d always laugh, he just couldn’t help himself. You loved to listen to the deep sounds of his laughter, as he too loved to make you love. He loved to hear your laughter, it was his favourite sound in the world, just like the dorm, whenever he was feeling on edge, your laughter would be the comfort he needed to feel like himself again.

He’d gotten used to being away from his family for so long that the feeling of missing someone went away. That was until he met you again and all those feelings came flooding back. As with his jealousy, he tended to go very quiet when he was struggling without you, which Chan would pick up on first. He didn’t like to text you, so he tended to wait until the late night or early morning to just call you instead, sometimes it worked better for him, but other times he hated waiting for so long to speak to you. There never really felt like a right way to get over missing you, but he knew he had no choice but to get on with things.

A-Z Fluff for Five Hargreeves

A = affection

Five isn’t big on PDA, he much rather prefers to keep your relationship private. However, that doesn’t stop the two of you from stealing fleeting touches through your days; Five often seeking you out if he’s frustrated for comfort.

Five spends his evenings chaotically. He’s always doing something different from reading to scribbling equations, he’s always busy and doesn’t stop until later than probably healthy. When you spend the night with him, he slows down a bit, taking the time to cherish your company. The two of you read together, watch movies or just sit and talk.

Five and you had your first date in the same coffee shop you met in. It was out of convenience as you often study there and Five actually likes the hot beverages they brew.

It’s no secret that Five is a rather serious person, but around you that changes. He finds himself laughing alongside you while you talk and chuckling when your clumsiness presents itself.

Five and you only really hug in private, normally after either or both of you have had a hard day. He wraps his arms around you and holds you tight, as though you’ll disappear if he lets go. You find his hugs especially nice in Winter as the boy radiates warmth in the otherwise chilly air.

When Five first saw you, he didn’t like you. What kind of person drinks tea? However, your attitude and sarcasm intrigued him. When you first met Five, he insulted your beverage choice - not a great way to start. You were annoyed with him, yet found yourself inviting him to sit with you anyway. You were humoured by him, as he was with you, and wished to discover more about him.

J = joy (what brings them joy in life?)

Though he hasn’t admitted it to them, Five’s family brings him joy in his life that’s been otherwise unjoyful. His afternoons spent reading a book or puzzling over equations bring him peace as does that first sip of coffee he has in the morning. Every moment with you makes him happy despite whatever else is going on in his life. He feels at peace with you.

Five is a passionate kisser. He sweeps you into his arms, with one hand around your waist and the other on your neck, and kisses you feverishly. Though, other times when he’s busy, he places a simple peck on your lips of forehead before rushing off.

Five found himself wanting to spend every moment with you and took any opportunity to see you. He brought you coffee and even read some books you’d mentioned liking so that he could talk about them with you.

Five’s favourite memory is from his childhood. Reginald left for some meeting overnight and the children found themselves all sneaking into Klaus’s room during the night to watch a movie. Even Vanya, who was often excluded, was there. It was one of the only times he can recall in which they were all together actually enjoying themselves.

Five has many pet peeves, but what he hates more than anything is lateness. Five prides himself in being in control, and when someone doesn’t do what he specifically asked them to, it pisses him off.

Five never had the option to be anything other than a member of the Umbrella Academy; his father had always told them it was their future. Five would guess he would be a mathematician in another world. He was good at it, after all, and quite liked the peacefulness of losing himself in a good equation.

Five and you don’t use pet names for each other, 🤷‍♀️. He finds them cringey and you find them all to be too mushy. Instead, he just calls you by your nickname.

Q = questions (do they believe in the super natural? Aliens? Anything along those lines)

Yep, Five believes in Aliens. Reginald used to tell him and his siblings to prepare for any situation, and so, does Aliens seem too far fetched. The supernatural, however, he finds a little harder to believe.

R = romantic (are they romantic during the relationship?)

Five isn’t what what he called a traditional romantic. He doesn’t buy you flowers or heardhaped chocolates, but he does show his love for you in other, more him, ways. If he wakes up early, he makes you coffee and brings it to you in bed. He sits and helps you study well into the night because he knows you get easily stressed. When sitting in building he also ensures he’s closest to the door incase someone comes in with less than good intentions.

Waking up next to you never fails to make Five smile. He adores you being the first thing he sees; with sunlight shining upon your skin and you cuddled to his side. It’s the perfect way to begin his day.

Five is clingiest in the morning when you wake up together and whenever you have to leave. He tries to make you stay in bed for a while longer, wrapping his arms around you to stop you from getting up. He pouts and tries to convince you to stay longer despite knowing you can’t.

You hate it when Five runs off to do something dangerous alone. You just don’t understand why he won’t take someone with him. Five hates it when you click your pen while studying. He knows you don’t mean to do it but it just happens when you’re deep in thought.

Nope. You know Five values his privacy and so neither of you take many photos or videos when together. Instead, you prefer to live in the moment and be together.

W = wedding (what was the wedding like?)

Five and you are young - being married isn’t the most important thing in either of you lives. However, Five does catch himself pondering your future together and what it would be like to grow old with you.

Five hasn’t told anyone, but he doesn’t trust himself. Most of his life he’s been a killer and he’s plagued with worry he’ll one day revert to his old ways and hurt someone he cares about.

Five deeply hates seafood, a hatred that thankfully you share. He can’t stand the smell, and after Diego forcing him to try it, can’t stand the taste either.

Five isn’t a heavy sleeper. In the commission, he was always woken up in the middle of the night for missions. And so, he’s grown to be a light sleeper.

A - alphabet soup

JJ bought cans of alphabet soup for the boys when Michael first began to read, but Emily quickly found it much more entertaining to spell out words like "boob" or "ass" or "sex?" punctuated with a poorly modified capital P in place of a question mark. JJ had to shut it down when Michael asked what a "tit" was, and Emily panicked and mumbled something about birds.

Somehow it felt alright, when she had one hand on the wheel and one hand on Emily's leg, the windows were down, and her hair was streaming in the wind and reflecting the setting sun. Somehow it felt alright to be lost with her.

E - errands

For whatever reason, JJ made running any errand seem like immense fun. Buying groceries, getting gas, even sending a letter felt like an adventure when she was there. They'd only gotten kicked out of one grocery store — when JJ had knocked over an entire display stand of candy bars after running and jumping onto a shopping cart. They didn't regret anything.

F - forehead kiss

JJ wasn't that much shorter than Emily, but when the brunette pressed her lips to her girlfriend's forehead, JJ would feel the need to bury her face in Emily's neck to hide her blushing cheeks.

G - graveyard

JJ had an entire cupboard dedicated to mugs for her tea, which Emily could never understand because she only seemed to ever use two of them: one being a lumpy mug Henry had made in a pottery store and the other being a Valentine’s Day gift from Emily with lovely ceramic boobs protruding from the mug’s body.

As she listened more carefully, she heard that Emily was talking to each plant in a different language — according to the plant’s country of origin.

Poor Damien got dethroned by a sink. Time to spill Mako’s love life! It’s something that isn’t meant to be a secret but just doesn’t really get brought up in the story, because if I write every detail of the character backstories, the chapters will be infinite. Spoilers ahead for Chapter 11.

a — how does your muse show affection? 

Before he met Eva, he knew nothing of physical (non-sexual) affection, being more of an Acts of Service type. Back then he and Misha weren’t close enough just yet to share the affection they do now. As a result, his love language has developed almost entirely from Eva’s cuddling and her small, mindless touches. He’s slowly learning to return that affection, especially now that they’re in a romantic relationship. It’s subtle, no grand gestures or declarations, just existing peacefully together. 

b — does your muse like flowers? which ones are their favourite?

He loves flowers. Since he was a little kid his favourite thing to do was wander around the estate gardens, and later Tokyo, just to gaze at flowers and curl up among their sunlit perfumes. There’s something about the delicate beauty and quiet life and resilience of flowers that captures his fascination. Sakura blossoms are his favourite.  

c — does your muse like chocolate? which one is their favourite?

He can’t... eat... chocolate... 

d — what is your muse’s ideal date? where / who with / etc?

Mako liked dressing up and going to very expensive restaurants, but he doesn’t think of dates anymore, because Vicky ruined the romantics of it for him. 

e — does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like?

Not before Eva. Sometimes his baby niece Chiharu hugs him when he carries her around but that doesn’t really count. It took him completely off guard when Eva just ran up to him at regionals and hugged him. It was at this moment he discovered he likes hugs, and these two have been snuggling ever since. 

f — is your muse good at flirting? how do they flirt?

He’s never flirted with anyone in terms of pick up lines, flattering, etc. He knows he’s sexy as fuck physically very attractive and his reputation is a powerful magnet, so it’s always people coming up to him and flirting. If he’s interested then his body language will show it. 

g  — is your muse good at gift - giving or do they struggle to get it right?

Due to relationship expectations he bought many expensive things for Victoria (mostly diamond jewellery), but the only true gift he’s ever given is to Misha for his 18th birthday, which was a collection of books and so quite thoughtful. His perspective of money is extremely warped compared to normal people, though, so if he ever was to get his partner something, he would need to consult Misha about it.

h  — is your muse quick or slow to give their heart away?

He falls in love very easily with anyone who shows him a bit of kindness (the reason why he stayed with Vicky and her unpleasant behaviour). However he is very quiet about it, and worries needlessly about whether his feelings are returned, so with Eva she’s been the one to initiate everything in their relationship so far. 

i  — does your muse find ‘i love you’ easy or hard to say?

Mako used to think it as something precious and special, as the truest expression of love. He would exchange it quite often and easily with Vicky in goodnights and goodbyes. Of course, she used this trust to her advantage for an ulterior motive. He realised that the words were just that—words, able to be uttered without feeling. Now it is tainted, and it’s likely he won’t ever be able to say it again. 

k  — is your muse a good kisser? why / why not?

Yes. Hoe. Also, his first boyfriend (Zephyr, his real name being Laurence Atlas) taught him a great deal about pleasure so credit to him, I guess.

l — who does your muse love? 

m  — how does your muse reconcile after arguments or fights?

He rarely gets into arguments because 1) he tries to avoid conflict by calming situations down and 2) who’s brave enough to challenge him? The answer to that is his partner, but they haven’t gotten into any fights yet as a couple so we shall have to see. 

o  — does your muse have a way with words?

Not really. He’s charismatic in his elegant, gentleman way, but his way of assembling words is logical. His crush on Eva rendered him shy and flustered in front of her so his ability to be a smooth talker is nonexistent. Luckily for him, Eva is also blunt so they just talk to each other in a straight-forward manner, or without words at all. 

p  — what does your muse look for in a partner? looks / personality?

Traditionally, his criteria for whoever he hooks up with is just beauty. Thanks to his work, he’s always surrounded by beautiful people, *cough* Damien. Partner wise... he wasn’t looking. Eva just burst into his life and he found that he loves her everything. 

q  — would your muse ask the big question or expect their partner to?

In his situation, technically it would be his parents who are going to be asking :/ 

r —  is your muse a romantic or a cynic?

Hopeless romantic. Because of the way he grew up, the classic depiction of romance is wonderfully appealing to him. What little he’s seen of romance in media makes his heart yearn. His traditional perception of love somewhat contradicts his sexuality, and of course now, he’s also a cynic. 

s  — did your muse have a childhood sweetheart?

No, the only kids he talked to during his childhood were his cousins. 

t — does your muse believe in true love?

Yes. Just not for him. 

u  — has your muse had their heart broken?

Yes, and it ceaselessly bothers Misha. 

w — would your muse get married? why / why not?

His opinion on marriage is neutral. He really likes the idea of a beautiful wedding (*cough* multi-million dollar wedding) and wishes for it have been brewing in the back of his mind for years. The concept of marrying for true love is just something that has never seemed real for him, so at the same time, he’s worried about the many years after the wedding, if his wife will even like his company. 

x — does your muse use / like pet names?

No, he’s really not verbally affectionate anymore. Eva will fight him if he tries to call her one anyway. 

y — does your muse get protective easily?

He is very protective of the two people he loves. He knows Eva can defend herself perfectly well, so in a way he’s more protective of Misha, who is more vulnerable. He’s not physically defensive because while he’s strong, he’s non-violent and can’t fight for shit, but there’s power in his position in society that has potential to cause far more damage than physical scars. At the moment he relies on people’s fear of this (see: Logan) rather than actually wielding it.
