So, I don't work directly with police in my job, and in fact I frequently am in positions to argue against using police in our operations (and I do argue this whenever the opportunity arises). But one of my coworkers is an emergency responder liaison, which means she does a lot of budgeting and scheduling and managing of cops.

That all to say, in the course of a workday, I randomly get hit with a fun new "oh you're just gonna say the quiet part out loud" dystopia fact about how cops work.

Today's tip: Don't make public health and safety arguments to cops about why they should do the things they are employed to do, like directing traffic around a crash, or administering CPR before paramedics can arrive. No, here's the script: "It's not just about life and death, it's also about liability."

They're not afraid of their negligence killing people. They're afraid of the hassle of being taken to court to explain why they let their negligence kill someone.

i wanna prod at ur catholic confession post actually. like yes, murder and child rape is obviously bad and there is an inherent problem with how the catholic church shields abusers. but i think removing some of the restrictions of what a priest can or cannot say about a confession could cause some problems. like, for example, how a lot of priests considerer LGBT people to be child abusers/predatory! hypothetically if the cath church made it so preists could openly condemn confessions guilty of child abuse, and if the church considers identifying as LGBT as child abuse, then that could cause problems if someone confessed to IDing as gay/trans. or alternatively, what if someone confesses to killing a rapist/sexual abuser. a priest could use that confession to testify against them and get them imprisoned. is it ok to imprison people for murdering their abusers? idk, but i dont like the idea of the catholic church having that power having a blanket statement that priests cant mention ANY confessions makes it *slightly* more immune to corruption IMO. obviously i dont think this solution is perfect, but my alternative would be to dissolve the catholic church entirely, and i dont think thats happening anytime soon.

well as you point out there isn't really a good solution to this, and that is because the idea of confession is inherently dumb as fuck. everything the catholic church considers a sin falls into one of three categories:

failing to be pious enough (forgetting to pray, missing church, taking the Lord's name in vain). keeping these secret is fine because they aren't, like, actual crimes, and in small + devout enough communities there are definitely priests who would gossip about to their neighbors if not for the confessional seal.

really cool and good activities that are only an issue if you were raised to believe that they would send you to eternal neverending torture after death (jacking off, being gay, having premarital sex, getting/considering an abortion). these should obviously be kept secret because they're embarrassing and potentially dangerous. however, this is kind of a moot point, because any decent person (priest or otherwise) would understand this without needing a confessional seal making it official. so these need the seal to stop the average priest from tattling to a kid's parents when they confide in them.

actual literal crimes with prison sentences and everything (rape, murder, manslaughter, assault). you should not be telling anyone about these if you can help it. what the fuck guys. this isn't even an ethics thing, this is a "don't be fucking stupid" thing. if you murdered your abuser and got away with it, good for you! now shut the fuck up about it because murder is still illegal. is the guilt eating you alive so badly that you need absolution from God about it (cringe)? do what Protestants figured out centuries ago and cut the middleman out of the equation by talking to the J.C. directly via personal prayer! yes i am aware this is heretical. if you care about heresy more than getting caught you are stupid.

so looking at the three points above, the best argument in favor of confessional seal that i can formulate is "sure, it allows murderers and abusers to literally have their actions condoned by God with the explicit guarantee of never being held legally accountable or even changing their behavior (just say a few Hail Maries), but think about the consequences of removing it! priests would be even MORE bigoted than they already are! some of them might even GOSSIP!" like hm, okay, i hear you, you make some excellent points, i think we should nuke the Vatican

I have brainworms about the new Ironmouse/Bubi song. Theres a post out there like “girls read the Lemony Snicket love letter and reshape their idea of love” and like,,,,, im girls. Theres something profoundly romantic about the “You Sinful Thing” line and I am Not Okay. Like thats a Gomez Addams line, the way its said, the inflection and the fact that the line just before it was addressing Mouse’s last line directly makes it feel like this true and heartfelt statement. Like, to demons who chose to conquer and rule hell of course “Sinful” would be a something to admire and adore.

Which I guess is something that has always fascinated me about things like The Addams Family and certain I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME songs, because the perspective, but Addams Family is easier to demonstrate. They are from the perspective of the witches and monsters and criminals. Gomez is actually a murderer, and that’s still a bad thing. Torture is still a negative thing, but they like that negative thing. Like when I was a kid, I just kind of assumed it was “Opposites”, everything good was bad and bad was good. But itd not that. Family is good, love is good, and the Addams family agree. So its choice - they just like torture and find it romantic to want to meticulously inflict pain on someone else. And that’s - to kind of reign in my blathering - kind of what gets me. That’s what makes the Bubi line drive the brainworms feral, its the choice. Like its not just the “it happened oops” kind of romance that western popular media feels drowned in. Bubi chose to take hell when he was banished, and Ironmouse/Satan chose to finish what he started; and they both chose to like “sin” (being in their canon just dissenting the heavenly dictatorship and required blind faith).

So that line is like, the peak compliment he could call her. Its not just some dirty naughty thing to say, its the embodiment of the way they chose to live their lives and that’s what’s giving me branworms. So I mean, its a credit to CDawg’s voice acting skills I guess, because he fucking sells it.

Anyway I do not support shipping real people, but the characters Bubi and Ironmouse are clearly supposed to be shippable/flirty together. So I think there is a separation between Ironmouse the girl who streams the pink haired vTuber/CDawgVA the guy from trash taste, and Ironmouse who is Satanus the King of Hell/Bubi who is Beelzebub.

Its ema skye loving hours again and i just want to share some of my headcannons with the world. (I dont even know if these actually make sense but.)

As a British Blackquill enjoyer, Ema and simon europe friendship is so real to me.

Effectively > ema and simon could have met in britain when ema was sent to live in europe after rfta. Assuming Blackquill worked in the space center for like at least a year, that would give a year or two period in which they had the possibility to meet.

The reason i enjoy this hc is bc. Due to the given timeline simon would have gone to jail while ema is still in europe.. which like oh shit wtf my friend is a murderer? Fuck my life choices.

Skip to last part of the 7yg and here is where it mixed with the whole... situation regarding ema and kristoph.

We know that ema apparently didnt know that pheonix was disbarred or had a daughter while she was in Europe, yet, she knew kristoph well enough to do a flawless impression of him?

Confusing. My thoughts here. Which. Are directly stolen from some post i saw saying the same thing. Maybe ema was friends with kristoph as a way of keeping in contact with Pheonix? Perhaps because kristoph was a friend of pheonix, and seems like a nice enough guy. Either way, some sort of interaction/ ema kristoph friendship must have existed there.

Which, in the aftermath of the game, leads to oh fuck. Another guy i was friends with was actually a murderer. Thats the second time thats happened.

Simply things to think about

Then theres also the parallel between blackquill going to jail for Athena and lana going to jail for ema, in both cases the simon/lana believeing that the youger had killed someone, and doing everything in their power to prevent athena and ema respectively from "their lives being ruined".

The fact that both went about this by concealing emotion, and putting up the mask of indifference.

And that neither athena nor ema had actually killed anyone, and that neither of them would have actually wanted simon/lana to go through with it all. That in the end it was finally resolved but left a lasting impact on all parties involved.

Do you think ema would have recognized any of those concealing behaviors in simon? Because of how he was paralleling her sister? Or would she just assume and deal with the fact that she was friends with two murders.

Anyways on a separate note ema and simon friendship is funny bc they could make fun of klavier together.

One June Global Studios changes their social media profile picture to. Not to be an ace attorney fan or anything but Ive been watching murder mystery shows and it makes me appreciate mystery video games more. Video games are genuinely one of the best mediums for a classic whodunnit and its a shame that we dont get more of them. Let me explain.

In a video game, you are active in the story. You have to follow the logic of the mystery. You have to know what's going on. What the player character knows, you know, so you can't just have a talk offscreen and come into the big reveal with a new fact no one had ever heard.

Now, I've been watching a lot of Elementary lately. It's pretty good, I enjoy it, but inherently, Sherlock knows things that the viewer does not. The camera can cut away from him while he's questioning someone. He has knowledge of the in-show universe that we do not, but sometimes that knowledge gets brought up too late. We can't follow the process, so we just have to trust that what he's saying is true and right. Like, they'll introduce some random guy we haven't heard of or met most of the way through an episode and then say "This is a famous serial killer and the crime fits his MO perfectly" and we just kinda have to go with it.

Meanwhile, with Ace Attorney, you see everything Phoenix or Apollo or anyone sees. If there was a thing that happened that's relevant to the case, it will either be internally monologued about, explained aloud to someone else, or told to you directly. You Know what the character knows (with a few notable exceptions like whatever the fuck was going on in DD but thats mostly because of the timeline, how Phoenix knows Edgeworth in game 1 before the class trial explanation in 1-3, Nahyuta and Apollo being siblings, etc). Anything you DONT know that the character knows is irrelevant to the case. There can be twists, but they're things that turn your preconceived notions about a case around, not just grabbing some random guy in the last 5 minutes and saying "it was him!"

this is a hard habit to get out of, so i think the way id like to do it is by simply bringing out character flaws into the problem

"but i dont really get how to make flawed characters" i was like that too! so heres what i do!

step 1: list out all of your characters traits. im gonna use one of my characters, allie. shes perceptive, serious mostly, chaotic, trusting, etc. making characters have good traits is easier then coming with bad traits i feel like.

step 2: think of how the character interacts with others. is it the best it can be? is it horrid beyond belief? understanding that can help too, even if you dont need it.

step 3: take that list of good traits to the extreme. every trait can be bad gvien the right situation. lets go back to allie! shes trusting? maybe she trusts too much, and gets herself or her friends in danger. chaotic? her wildness doesnt allow her to realize the damage shes causing. hell, even perceptive! she feels like she needs to keep a look out, causing some internal conflict.

step 4: how does this affect those relationships? maybe allie is growing distant and isolated from people, slowly realizing shes a danger. she blocks out people trying to help, who take it as an insult. she takes their help as an insult back, or maybe she doesnt want to worry them.

thats really what i do, but ill put other notes underneath the line lol

-a solution doesnt have to be "the solution"! a character can mishandle themselves and misinterpret what they need, causing them to be stupid!

-intense emotions will make you stupid! if your running from a murderer, you may do stupid things to try and survive!

-character backstory doesnt need to be brought up directly for there to be a fight. maybe someone jokingly starts saying stuff, another misinterprets and accuses, soon enough a fight breaks out. or maybe someone unknowingly makes fun of someones past/an event that happened to them (example: "how could anyone be so stupid to travel for that long just to die like that?" could piss off anyone from someone who would rather not like the dead to be mocked to another whos traveled for a while and is held up as "the best" despite having made mistakes).

-mental illness can and should come somewhat into play if a character has something. while allie is stable and shit, i can say that being neurodivergent has made me unable to understand others do. differences make you think differently! (ie: a gay person who experienced prejudice in their life probably will view the world differently then a straight ally whos not had that problem). "oh but what if i dont write it well?" doing research is always the most important part obviously, but i can give some ideas (note: im not all of these groups, i just have some experience with these things, please do your research when writing these). someone with autism may have a harder time understanding emotions of someone because they feel them differently ("why arent you crying? [insert tragic event] just happened!" "i-" "do you not care?!" "of course i fucking do, i cant tell you why im not crying because i-i just cant, i dont fucking know.") (alterantively: "why are you crying? its not a big deal." "shut the fuck up."). a neurotypical person may make the wrong assumption about someone whos neurodivergent due to built in ableism ("oh wow, you actually solved it!" "heh, what doubt could you have?" "well, i mean.." "what-oh. i see then. thats how you think."). stuff like that can add something.

-you dont need a fight to have characters drift. a fight could be the split, but it doesnt need to be. you dont need characters to immediately comfront each other, yuou can let them bottle it up and make it all so worse.

-a character doesnt need to lie for distrust to happen. all it really needs to be taken as a lie. (character a: "I SWEAR, I DIDN'T KNOW!" character b: "and here i swore to trust you. what other lies do you hide under your tongue?")

-a relationship can be broken for no good reason. a life logn friendship, ended over one out of control fight. they may wonder if they reconsider, but they could just not regret where they stood, even if their ideals change.

lmk if i got things wrong/should change stuff or if i should talk on other writing things lol

That post that's like "stop writing characters who talk like they're trying to get a good grade in therapy" really blew the door wide open for me about how common it's become for a character's emotional intelligence to not be taken into consideration when writing conflict. I remember the first time I went to therapy I had such a hard time even identifying what I was feeling, let alone had the language to explain it to someone else. Of course there are plenty of people who've never been to therapy a day in their life who are in tune to their emotions. But even they would have some trouble expressing themselves sometimes. You have to take into account there are plenty of people who are uncomfortable expressing themselves and people who think they're not allowed to feel certain ways. It also makes for more interesting conflict to have characters with different levels of understanding.

i watched the first three episodes of ofmd of s2 and i have a lot of thoughts that i dont really see anyone talkin bout so far, okay before you read this this is my OPINION i know duh it is but some people need to hear that, but if you do disagree with some of the stuff im saying id love to have a normal discussion bout it bc after all its fiction not that serious

okay so i binged s1 like yesterday and i LOVED it its so funny and good and lucius and the whole crew being very found family was awsome

ending wasnt as bad as i had seen people say, but now overal i really liked season one for just being silly and being a comedy and not taking itself SUPER serious

season two so far i really dont like the direction they are going , let me just put some of my more specific thoughts here

1 im tellinging you NO reason to introduce us to new love interests for the one will they wont they couple, i really hope they stay just friends now since otherwise it has just complicated it so much

2 Zheng, just her whole deal i feel like it again just over complicates it so much now they have either A. an antaganist whos really powerfull and smart and is now personally connected to one of the crew so its gonna be messy if they meet again and they really wouldnt beable to just easily fight her off and while in season one yeah the brits were a threat it was never THAT serious they always had a backup plan and the brits were just fuckin stupid and not being treated as really competent and while yes they did have a more serious scene when they had to get the acts of grace n stuff it wasnt full episodes B. shes a one off and would just feel very mediocre and veryjust made to be a conflicting love interest

3its a bit to serious and lacks the charm it had and has taken away aspects of characters that made them likeable to begin with, blackbeard an unserious pirate whos bored with his life and doesnt directly kill, now so far we see him fucking over his crew and being horrible to them like we are glossing over the fact he was cutting off a guys foot for evertime he spoke up against him and murdering an entire wedding for shits and giggles and not even caring when someone on his crew dies and sure its fiction but i dont know how he can be truly redeemed because i dont think they are gonna let him be bad and are already setting up stuff for him to be redeemed

theres probably more but yk

ON TO STUFF I DO LIKE

1 lucius being back oh my godddd i love him hes my fav character for sure and stedes and his talk about opening up a bit was while kinda ehh a bit sweet even though i feel like it was kinda bs because we dont really see stede bottling up big things like that at all sure he thinks he cant be more then a scared rich boy but yk thats really not that bad back to lucius again i love him i hope as the season goes on we see him heal a bit and get back more of how he was in season 1 nd before anyone says it I KNOW big trauma and how it fucks you up and changes you , been there done that but i still dont completely change and as i healed more which im still doing i was becoming more like my old self again and lucius is such a comedic character i hope they use him well this season:)

2i liked the little story line of them just living with spanish jackie and saving up it was sweet even though it was short, because they arent technically a crew they could all just go their seperate ways yk??? but they dont they CHOOSE to stay, i loved in season one when he had to prove to be a real pirate everyone desperately backing him up incontrast to the first episode where they were planning mutiny

3LUCIUS AND PETE REUNITING i love them and i hope they get to be a happy couple and dont break up bc if they do i will RIOT

5 love the crew found family way its very sweet to see both the crews go with that like bonnets whole crew sticking together though they dont really have to and even though blackbeard was being fuckin horrible his crew still had eachother and tried to help and cheer eachother up its way more gloomy then the other crew but i still loved it

EDIT: just realized i love how sstupid the mermaid scene is i REALLY hope this means they will return to the normal humour they had now they they have established the more important stuf like the characters being all together again

anyways i didnt do anything today ive been very. uhh. stuck. but i did think about what it would be like for the godslayers to be plopped into prime, specifically about how they would react to "youre not allowed to kill people".

peter is the most fucking relieved like "oh so we dont have to kill anyone ever???? thats so great" and rumi is cautious but like "hmmm well in 99% of situations if prison works then i dont see any reason we WOULD kill anyone. killing people is not something that should be taken lightly after all."

thanatos is. not enthused. i mean he gets the concept because peter and rumi have been trying to tell him to like. spare people. but he still REALLY thinks they should get to murder people. like. its just the most effective way to get rid of an enemy right? so. why . wouldnt you. he is not going to pretend like it isnt an active effort for him to not kill someone.

exandroth has a whole bundle of mixed up emotions because firsty. he cant KILL anyone??? even the bad guys????? like!! that was his favourite part of retributing!!! what the fuck does he do now?? r u kidding me what bullshit is this. he doesnt think jail is an equivalent punishment at ALL like he thinks if theyre evil then smite them off the face of the earth thats divine judgement baby. but also. he sort of likes seeing others rot away? but also she doesnt because it reminds her of being imprisoned herself?? its weird. exandroth walking through a jail would feel like pulling teeth in a mix of "I WANT TO KILL EVERYONE HERE" "HAHAH THEYRE ROTTING IN JAIL" "BEING IMPRISONED IS... NOT SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE THIS TAKEN THIS LIGHTLY" exandroth can sort of tolerate it since its not affecting him directly but if there were a question of "we're going to try and imprison someone you care about" exandroth is just going to kill everyone involved no matter what. FUCK prison bitch. no.

but basically, peter and rumi have a much easier time adjusting to prime and the social conventions. except for the concept of i.d probably? i dont think theyd be too happy that there is a constant surveillance and a lack of anonimity that there was back in prevarus. they dont mind following rules but the idea of someone constantly watching over you?? thats really fucked up. even if rumi is a charismatic type that's not the same as consenting to being constantly watched. itd make them freak out.

meanwhile exandroth and thanatos are. theyre sort of adjusting? but not that well. theyre like. murderers. and god slayers. for realsies. like thats built up to be a considerable part of their identity?? they can adjust but letting go of that is difficult.

oh and their views on authority. i think peter and rumi are a bit iffy on it but are like "well... technically it is run by PEOPLE so thats not all bad". exandroth and thanatos are showing sheer disrespect "THESE BITCHES ARE ACTING LIKE THEYRE GODS LOOK AT THESE STATUES THANNY THATS LIKE WORSHIP STATUS WE NEED TO MURDER THEM" and yeah u talk them down from not judt running up and murdering them. but thats not necessarily because they dont WANT to. but because they go "exandroth. if i could compare this situation back when we first met" "UHUH" "..i think these superheroes would, metaphorically, turn us into spiders" "SHIT YOURE RIGHT. ig overall the group isnt like EVIL but they would be considered morally grey more towards the darker tones. theyre just *waiting* for the moment the prime superheroes turn on them and label them villains. not that its their fault. they just wanna change the world for the better. if theyre considered evil for that rhen irs not their problem.

Owning fish as pets, especially shoal and school fish, is very inethical. Treating fish lik throwaway pets is also inethical. i received 5 tetras 7 years ago as a present. they have survived over 7 years. tetras typically live 5 years at most. theyve suffered 7 years in 15 gallons of water, longing to swim the entire ocean. Perhaps it's possible to ethically keep a betta, or aother loner type fish that resides in puddles in the wild, but oceanic fish dont belong in bathtubs.

Oh you ate with that togachako-bakudeku parallel bc my brain now is thinking; is really clear with Ochako how she has conflicts over what she feels for them both -she admires things about them, and gets inspired by them in different ways (Izuku inspired costume modification, and Himiko inspired will to be more open about what she wants, at least during the war). But what's expected from her is complete opposites: for Izuku, the people around her are supportive and really really would love to see her succeed and confess, while for Himiko she knows she should just be a hero, doing heroic stuff, stopping the villain. And she does like Deku, and she does want to stop Toga... but thats just not the full picture, its not so simple.

Her feelings for Izuku were pushing her back, and there was just something wrong about them even if everyone supports her, and for Himiko... she just couldn't stop thinking about those tears, and how much she wanted to see that smile instead, because she finds it adorable, admires her way of just being honest and open when she cant. Izuku on another hand is usually closed off when it comes to his emotions unless someone else started the conversation first, while he has the "right" motivations to be a hero "unlike her".

Now that I think about it, its interesting how her admiration for Izuku made her feel worse about herself as a hero -which led to her doing exactly what he does, and failing in the process by her own rejection of herself and insecurities-, but with Himiko she doesnt compare herself in a negative light. She doesn't make her feel worse about who she is, and in fact she just ended up helping her become closer to her own idea of hero, instead of what she "should be". As this post pointed out, he doesnt see his feelings for Katsuki on their own wrong or disgusting at all, but knows what people think and expect; Katsuki's behavior isnt "right", as he is rude, loud, cocky and isnt afraid to show off or telling someone to fuck off, no matter status or social rules. Deku agrees, this isnt okay and everyone would agree this is disgusting, but that's Kacchan. Izuku can't forget about those parts of Kacchan, because thats what makes him... him. So when he acts like him, becomes rude or thinks about winning fast more than saving others like a good hero should, he sees how for others thats terrible and yet... thats Kacchan. He could never hate those parts, if he did, it would mean he rejects who Kacchan is. That's his symbol of victory.

I think he really appreciates Ochako and her thoughts, being his first friend from UA and one of the nicest people of course he sees her as great person and admirable. He was shy for a long time, and blushes over feeling happy, embarrassed, nervous, etc. I can't know what Horikoshi intends with them and his feelings for her, but if eh goes for a romantic route, I just think he is taking bad decisions right now by not using the amount of opportunities he himself made for them.

As an example of this: I like to read what other ppl think and predict even if they are in a completely different page from me, so I have seen what people were predicting for a romantic izuocha route years ago (when the dark deku chapters came out, before the cliff talk...), and I find it interesting how many of them were really close to what actually happened.

Some people were expecting her to have a big role in his rescue, that the class wasn't going to be able to convince him to come back without someone else giving the last "hit" into Izuku's core, and he would fall into her arms or she would hug him to make him stop. They also thought Iiida and Bakugou would have big moments before that. She had a big role, she gave an entire speech that convinced the civilians of letting Deku to get into UA's gates, but the one that did it for him was Katsuki and his apology, and Izuku fell right into his arms with Ochako looking from a distance.

Some were expecting him to talk to her before the war, alone, discuss what they feel and confess, and the cliff scene happened; the talk about what they feel about their respective nemesis, and the most romantic thing that happened was Ochako saying she guesses they are both weird.

Later, people speculated Toga would do something to reveal Uraraka's crush, that she would end up making them closer in accident. Izuku was in their battle, Himiko was about to reveal it, and Tsuyu stops it from happening while saying this is not the time for romance. Izuku goes to where he should be, after rejecting Himiko's feelings that are so close to Ochako's, using All Might as an example of someone he really admires and wants to be like. His move looks similar to Katsuki's quirk, and while he said he would never want to hurt someone he loves, ShigAFO is chasing his closest person.

Can someone please enlighten me on what Horikoshi plans to do with them? This panel is such a tease for Izuochoa, but hearing the thoughts of BKDK shippers, I believed Hori would pursue with that ship due to what was shown in the war. But seeing this is making me rethink and step back! I know that a blush is not equivalent to someone crushing on someone else given the fact that Midoriya has blushed at multiple characters. Everyone always has their own goals, and doesn't care about anything else than primal needs, it seems. Thats why you're running yet again, not sure where to. The surroundings are unfamiliar, and you've never been that far out the town, making it hard to navigate where to exactly flee to. Whoever the guy was that was supposed to take you somewhere else, he wasn't a good man at all.

Not like him.

But he was nowhere near, there was no way he'd ever cross paths with you at all in this wasteland. And maybe thats where you belonged instead, as you crouched down to hide in the woods, a hand suddenly grabbing your back, pulling you towards him by your dress. He freezes as his phone rings- carefully deciding it seems if he should take the call or not. "Whatever." He simply says instead, declining it before he pulls you back to where his car is parked, your struggles futile considering how tired and exhausted you already were.

You dont even remember anything after being thrown in the backseat again- the door never shutting, the car never starting to drive.

Because back at his home, Jungkook feels like something's.. off.

Maybe it was his knowledge of people, maybe it was that look Hansung gave you- but he felt as if it wasn't quite right. He pulled out his phone after a little while, trying to check in with him to ask where he was- but when the call declines twice, he knows something's not right. That was not part of the deal he had with him. He was supposed to drop you off and stay in touch until he'd done that- in twenty minutes, there was no way he'd managed to drive that far to finish what he'd tasked him with.

That fucking bastard sure had a death wish.

On his bike, he keeps an eye on the street, not for traffic. He's looking for any sign of the battered car Hansung drove, any sign of you or him so he could clear his mind, find rest, and let this all behind him. He really didn't need any distractions when it came to his job.

And there he saw him, pushing your struggling form back into the car.

Now, Jungkook wasn't a good person- not in the slightest. But even he had limits as to what he could let slide. And one of those things was what seemed to happen right in front of him- something he knows just too well. It never happened to him, but he remembers his parents years back, remembers the broken wine bottle he'd used to defend her as a mere child, remembers how mad his father had gotten.

He remembers how his mother had cried that day, begging him to spare the young Jungkook in his rage.

A hand reaches for Hansung's grimy hair- pulling him out even when he yells out in pain. Pushed to the ground, his boot angrily places itself onto his chest, successfully making him unable to quite breath as he coughs, jungkooks weight fully ontop of him as he hears a rib Crack underneath the sole of his foot. But he's too occupied loading his gun, carefully so, as if he wants to enjoy this. "You know.." he says lowly, before the gun gets pointed at him- squatting down to place the cold metal directly onto Hansung's closed left eye. "I'm a nice guy." He says with an emotionless smile. "Thats why I won't just shoot you like the rat you are." He tells him, before he readies the gun, lips turning upwards as Hansung starts to breath heavier- seemingly realizing what's about to happen. "I'll let fate decide- and if you manage to survive?" He wonders, before leaning his head to the side. "You'll be a walking warning sign, my friend." He hums out, before he shoots the bullet- sending it straight through his eye into the ground underneath his head, making him yell out at the pain.

He helps you out the car, pushing your face away from the man on the ground, gasping from the pain he's in- while jungkook says nothing, but simply sits ontop of his bike, you in front of him, legs over his thighs while you rest your face into his chest.

Seems like he won't really get rid of you that easily.

Yes I’m here to deliver.

The kind of person to only have very few friends. This guy ain’t the socialising type. I mean look at him he practically oozes lone wolf vibes. Not a people person for sure. He’s definitely socially awkward as fuck though thanks to his poker face that part of him isn’t obvious.

If you do manage to be friends with him though, oh boi where do I even begin?

He is an independent guy so expect like long ass periods of non-contact. He would occasionally check in on you to make sure that you are alive and doing well, sometimes with a text saying hes coming over. If you are lucky he might hang around for a while but apart from that he’s not gon do much (totally not because he’s socially awkward cough cough).

Really thoughtful as hecc. He’s not such an asshole to make any demands for you and your time. With how disillusioned he is with the current state of society, he’s going to cherish all the shit you have done for him, especially when you are one of the only ones who stayed with him despite the bloody path he has chosen.

Mention offhandedly about needing or wanting something? So long as he can afford it, it’s definitely going to appear on your table the next day without a trace of him left in your house. The kind to help around the house when he possibly can. Even if you try to deny his aid he’s not gonna budge at all cus he is one stubborn ass motherfucker. After some time you just give up and let him do what he wants. Though it is kinda funny to see the Hero Killer doing domestic stuff around your house.

However he can be a bit of an insensitive jerk at times. He judges a bit too hastily and makes wrongful assumptions. He also tends to believe that the fault lies within the person themselves whenever theres a problem, and will point it out if you asked for it.

This can result in arguments when you make mistakes or anything cus he will unintentionally make a comment that directly attacks you and your character. I can see that eventually you would reach a breaking point where you cry and/or scream at him about these hurtful comments. Yelling would of course devolve into an argument until you explain your feelings and situation to him such that he understands. Crying would just really hit in the realisation on how shitty his actions were and he would rectify that immediately by comforting you.

Hangouts typically consist of you guys sitting there in silence doing your own thing or watching a movie, or both of you engaging in philosophical discussion about today’s society. Yes because this is Stain we are talking about, expect the topic of False Heroes to come about. Once that happens, you would end up listening through his entire rant on False Heroes and their Unworthiness for the Hero title.

You definitely have engaged in debates with him on dealing with false heroes. He would be respectful of your views so long as they are well supported AND well-rounded arguments. Being one-sided esp towards the heroes would make him dismiss your views since it’s the same opinions adopted by the masses. Acknowledging and accepting that his views and ideals are valid would be a big deal for him, even if you disagree.

Sadly I’m not really sure if it would change much on his hero killing ways. To him, it’s the only solution he feels he could implement to best deal with false heroes, and it’s a necessary evil. Plus, he’s more of the take action guy. He can’t really just sit around, wait and think on what to do when there’s so much at stake. I find that it would be good for him to have a partner to hold him back and properly think through some stuff because of this, if he were to get into a romantic relationship. And speaking of that…

If you are in a romantic relationship with him, it’s just the above friendship qualities multiplied by 10 plus the couple things.

He WILL be a mother hen for his s/o. Regarding his friends, he tends to trust their ability to take care of themselves, only stepping in when needed to. Regarding his partner? He takes responsibility for their wellbeing. If their condition is less than perfect, he’s going to do something about it.

Accidentally cut yourself? He’s already grabbing the first aid kit. Sees you aren’t getting enough sleep? Prepared to be whooshed away and dumped on your bed. Stressed and anxious? He asks you to confide in him about your worries, and if you can’t, at least tell him how he can make you feel better.

God forbid someone lay a hand on you intending harm cus if Stain knows about it, he will straight up gut them. He will interrogate you if he sees an injury on you that’s unlikely to be an accident. He’s not going to budge until you tell him who did it to you, and even if you don’t, he WILL find out on his own. He might end up hurting someone innocent so it’s best if you tell him who did it to save him the trouble. And if they mysteriously disappear from your life, that’s only for the two of you to know :^)

He’s definitely not used to physical affection being the loner he is, so if you initiate and like give him a hug or a kiss he will get flustered and blue screen for a short while. He would also be tense when cuddling for the first few times, then relaxing a little bit afterwards. Uh don’t surprise tackle him out of nowhere unless you want to get slashed or chucked at a wall. As much as he loves to indulge in your affections, he still needs to keep his instincts honed for fighting. You never know when someone might decide to attack the both of you. (You tried to surprise hug him once. It ended up with you getting injured and him attending to your injuries while lecturing you a little about doing that AROUND A SERIAL KILLER WHO KILL HEROES for a LIVING)

But otherwise he doesn’t mind physical affection. He would grow to love it, and would gradually take initiative to touch you at any opportunity if you tell him you are open to it. This does become funny with his brilliant poker face, when you guys are doing your own thing and all of sudden he gets close to you to hug, smooch or cuddle. He gives absolutely no warning whatsoever. It never gets old. Your reactions to him doing this amuses him a lot.

Expect occasional heartfelt speeches on how much he loves you or how much you mean to him. Might not realise this himself but gOd he can be a sMOOTH motherfucker. He is good with words, and gENUINE about what he says about. He will pull off the how I saw the world as a dark ugly place until you came along speech shtick and there will be this Moment of you guys beholding each others presence. THATS how good he is. (I mean you heard him monologing while fighting Izuku, Tenya and Shouto like daamn)

He’s a very practical person and isn’t one to be sentimental. He can’t afford to be sentimental if it can jeopardise him and his loved ones in any way. He’s adamant on not keeping anything of his around in your house cus he doesn’t want you implicated or associated with his murders at all.

Somehow, if you both are really really deep into the relationship, I can see him letting both of you carrying rings from each other. Not worn around the ring finger of course cus that can attract unwanted attention, but rather it being attached to a chain necklace that both of you would have at all times.

It’s kind of a promise and dedication to you, in the sense that, if he could or if he had the chance to, he would have formally proposed to you. He hopes that he can if somehow he fulfils his personal mission, and if both of you can find somewhere peaceful and safe together.
