Sorry its so second-hand embarrassing to see ppl who claim to be anti-colonial just jump to the first chance they can to defend core liberal anxieties/reactionary positions like make it make sense…

#i saw a post claiming that the fundraisers were ‘probably not all scams’ but heavily implying they were #and that they were achshully funding human traffickers like are you serious #or asking why other populations under threat of genocide havent made similar posts #when like if youre clearly paying attention youd know about paying to cross the border like?? the situation is unique #not mention there HAVE been fundraisers for sudan/congo but the situations are different like #its just infuriating that ppl just jump to the easiest liberal assumptions of malice to make themselves feel morally justified in not caring
