For a late birthday present this year I had an abscess drained in my mouth a few hours ago, which was as fun as it sounds. Why do dentists have SUCH sadistic streaks lmao. Like I know you didn’t HAVE to put all that pressure on the side of my gum please I’m dying scoob

My parents did write my chosen name in my card though which is a big step for them considering my mum has staunchly used she/her, my birth name, and feminine words for me even since I came out as enby and sorta trans masc. (not like maliciously, I think it’s more habit and also not being sure what TO call me on any given day, lol. I’ve told her neutral stuff is what is preferred but she always reverts back to calling me daughter. I think she just forgets half the time tbqh.)
