ive been trying to work on my godawful reading (and media) comprehension skills but im a science major in college and barely have time to read real books. so now im in the position where im taking organic chemistry and trying to teach myself high school level english at the same time. thank you homeschooling

#op #i used to read a LOT as a kid but i got very depressed in middle and high school and mostly stopped #and thanks to shitty christian homeschooling i didnt really have to read anything for school either #when i did read it would usually be way below my actual reading level because it was easy and comforting.#so ive been trying to read more classics and such to make up for lost time.#but unfortunately due to everything i just mentioned i am an incredibly slow reader with a very short attention span. so its hard #that one post with the ogre reasing ulysses is whats keeping me going
