A favorite trope of mine in Drarry fics is when Hermione starts getting the feeling that something is going on between them, and so she starts giving them contemplative looks or even possibly even asking one of them about the other. Without fail, Harry stumbles over himself and his feelings for Draco, and gives Hermione the least helpful form of confirmation you could possibly imagine. And then Draco is on the flip side repressing the hell out of his feelings for the Chosen One, and feigning obliviousness (badly) when Hermione comes calling. This applies to most forms of Drarry! Rivals to lovers, enemies to forced proximity to lovers, frenemies to lovers, even enemies to friends to lovers, 8th year, Slytherin!Harry, Horcrux Hunt!Draco, time travel, older and divorced Drarry, Auror partners!Drarry... It is ridiculously versatile in Drarry fic, and I never tire of seeing it, every version of Hermione clocking the boys.
