the thing about the emcee in this production of cabaret is that he very much becomes a nazi. like this is not the sam mendes production where he is sent to a concentration camp
#so i do not feel bad about making fun of ER#and also like weirdness aside his performance is just not compelling#and tbh the weird posture and performance choices could be intentionally grotesque with that end transformation in mind#but i still hate them lol#and i’ve seen him 4 times now#i look forward to going back (possibly in september?) when he’s not in#i’m already hyped to see gayle’s understudy on wednesday
