maybe its just my tendency to make characters from my fav media a found family - glancing at the outlanders from tlg - but i really think madagascar has found family potential. at least to me. i love it when a bunch of characters are put through such hyper-specific circumstances that it binds them together. its like... Accidental Family. “i never thought i'd care about you/spend time with you but we've been shoved into the same circumstance one way or another so we're ride or die now”. thats the zoosters, penguins, monkeys, lemurs & circus zaragoza to me. their experiences are so weird and wacky (and traumatic), they have to bond. they stick together yknow

#its like . its canon but i think there's so much potential in the mundane of their lives #some fics i've read encapsulate this hang on let me find em #Would You Rather? by AnimationNut on ao3 is my fav madagascar fic #because yes. they're exactly like that. they're all so incredibly different but they're bonded by their experiences #and i love all of Mister_Rat's work but specifically True Colours fits what i'm talking about #marty and vitaly friendship is something i'd have never thought of myself and i love it!!!!#and tbh thats what the mada fic i wrote was getting at. they're family #in the circus they can finally settle down and bond #but yeah. there's my ramble #i just wanted to put this out there :] because i love mada #spinny rambles #madagascar #madagascar movie
