saw a post basically saying op didn't understand why anyone would want Tech to survive bc, and paraphrasing here, 'why would you want him to go through that.'

and its got me thinking about pain. about survival. about how far is too far for a happy ending.

i wonder if op has ever made someone speechless by stating a simple fact about their life. or if they'd ever been accused of trauma dumping for talking about their childhood. i wonder if they've ever been really really sick. if they have any disabilities that require accommodations.

i wonder if they've ever had to fight to be happy.

i wonder what kind of person could think that living through pain to get to a happy ending isn't worth it.

#tech going through attrocities isnt the end of his life #nor will it irreparably damage him #pain is terrible #but pain is normal #pain is not deserved #but it is delievered #and honestly #i think thats a huge misunderstanding of star wars #sw is all about hope-as cheesy as that is nowadays #sw is about growing past pain about surviving to happiness #and sure anakin lives in more pain than happiness-but he does get to experince joy at the end of his life again #he gets to see his son. all grown up. a pilliar of hope. woth his mother's eyes.#maybe thats just me #star wars #the bad batch #tech lives
