Rumour has it that a usually very kind, gentle, and patient MC has been seen going mad and striking someone - how would the ROs react to this information? And how would they react after finding out that the MC did that because said "someone" had besmirched the RO's honour?

jinwol would hear about it and go “oh no… anyways!” he genuinely wouldn’t believe anyone without hearing the mc’s side first and if they didn’t bring it up to him it’s probably for good reason. once he learned why he’d definitely go and thank the mc but tell them they don’t need to do that for him — even if he is extraordinarily paranoid about how people perceive him, he’d rather the mc just ignore people badmouthing him than put themself in danger.

yul wouldn’t care if the mc killed a guy LOL punching someone is nothing. i think they’d be more concerned that someone drove them to that state and once they found out that it was for them they’d be very flattered and all “you did that for me 🥹?” i also do think they’d tell the mc to not even touch trash like that in the future but they’d still be privately happy that the mc cares about them that much.

iseul would march right up to the mc and ask them what happened instead of jumping to conclusions. if the mc explained it was for her, she’d tell them not to waste their energy on idiots like that. if they don’t even have the guts to say it to her face you should try to let it slide too — cowards like those never have anything worthwhile to say. besides, she’d much rather be insulted than let the mc put themself at risk like that.

??? is so used to hearing all manner of things about themself that they wouldn’t even care if they heard a rumor like that. unless the mc brought it up to them i doubt they’d even investigate it. once they learned it was for them they’d probably be confused at first because they’ve become so conditioned to letting comments about them slide. they’d probably say something like “don’t act so rashly in the future” and flick the mc in the forehead (but their ears are red so who are they trying to fool HAHAHA)
