not being in america the last week and a half has been a great boon to my mental health
#i know the weird irony or whatever word you want to use#about posting this on 9/11#but honestly seeing supposedly impossible things made possible has been beneficial#not saying europe doesn’t have issues (spotted a bunch while here)#and spoke to some people who spoke frankly abt the issues in their home countries#but it is nice to get a break from your particular home’s strain of stupid culture wars#etc etc#i really just want to keep traveling and never go back but alas i really dont have much money#this trip has been a miracle tho#even with the loss of my coworker/friend#personal#and taking my mom who would not have gone otherwise and possibly will be gone within the next year#has been mostly good too bc we will always have had this trip together
