was there ever a moment where cdream broke down in front of michael? im sure he didnt try to of course, but given how often the two are around each other as well as how stressed cdream is all the time (constantly being hurt/threatened by his abuser, his body and mind betraying him due to being much weaker because of the torture + starvation, it being over a year at this point since he was imprisoned, the fading hope of being rescued, and having to partially raise a toddler on top of all this), i cant imagine hed be able to keep his cool in front of michael all the time, no matter how hard he tries to

did he ever get angry at michael being upset, especially in the first month or so of caring for him, because he knew that michael being upset would mean that c!sam would hurt him again?

Hmm. I'm not sure c!Dream would've ever quite broken in front of Michael. c!Sam, if nothing else, had the common sense to not have Michael be in the room before he started anything physical. Yelling matches happened in front of him sometimes, but usually Dream would notice and move him to the other room. Sam is also limited in what he can physically do to Dream due to Michael. Quackity is also now out of the picture, which creates the following limitations.

Same has to give Dream enough food for a toddler, and the food can't be poisoned or otherwise nasty. He still not going to be giving enough food for an adult + a toddler, and the food that he gives is regularly too rich for Dream whose body has near no capacity to adjust to new things, but it's an improvement from a minimal number of potatoes.

When it comes to physical violence, Sam isn't capable like Quackity is. He's fine with smacking Dream around, and liable to break bones due to the amount of force used, but it's going to be relatively quick and it's more about Sam physically venting his frustrations than it is about causing pain.

In addition, Sam can't leave Dream in a physically broken state for longer than 10-15 minutes. Large, open wounds would scare Michael (as well as be unhygienic). Leaving Dream unconscious or physically unable to move isn't an option either, since someone has to watch Michael. So, he makes an effort to limit his damage to severe bruising and uses healing potions when he goes further.

Dream can't be left in dangerous or severely unhygienic conditions anymore, because Michael needs to be in a moderately safe environment. There can't be constant lava, uncovered obsidian, no entertainment. And there has to be access to clean water, a bath, a bed, and other stuff toddlers need.

As a result of all of this, comparatively, Dream is under much better conditions than he was before. He and Michael have a slightly larger room, still made of obsidian but covered in carpet to stop Michael from getting hurt. There's also a bathroom with a toilet, a very barebones sink, and a bath. Importantly, there's a physical door separating these two locations, so when Dream wants Michael out of the room, he tucks him in the bathtub with some blankets and toys. There's a proper bed, a bookshelf, two chests and proper lighting in the room.

While Dream has moments of weakness in front of Michael, he never quite breaks during his time with Sam. His conditions are marginally better, and when he does get in a really bad place mentally he hides it well. At most, he'll move Michael to the bathtub for a bit so he can have time to lick his wounds in peace. Even though he's losing hope in being rescued, he's still got plans to get out. Michael actually helps a lot with those, as does the new environment.

That's not to say he keeps his cool all the time. Sometimes he gets snappy or sad. But it's minimal. If there's one thing that Dream can do really, really well, it's rationalize and compartmentalize his situation. This dude literally rationalized his own torture to the guy that tortured him for like a year. He also held out against that torture for ages with no end in sight. Having Michael there to care for actually gives him a point of stability. There's a toddler whose dependent on him for care, who he can chose to be good towards. He has control over this small part of his life, and for him, the expression of that control is doing his very best to defy his circumstances and raise Michael well.

Dream does try to teach Michael to hide when he's upset in front of Sam, but he doesn't get mad at Michael for it when it happens. That's because 9/10 times, it's Sam himself upsetting Michael and then blaming it on Dream. Dream is realistic, he knows that a toddler is just going to get upset in those circumstances. Plus, Sam is often looking for an excuse to hurt him regardless. Dream rationalizes, he compartmentalized, and then he tries to solve the problem and calm Michael down. Breaking down isn't an option for him, and it won't be for awhile.

It helps that Michael is the only real company that Dream has, and that Michael's presence has vastly improved Dream's conditions. Sure, it still sucks a lot, but it'd be a lot worse if Michael wasn't there. Dream can appreciate that.

here’s mine though. Sorry it’ll be super long

• Lelouch found that CC’s hand was always cold so he likes to hold it all the time.

• During their early journey, they’ve decided to bought a trailer. But lelouch cant drive, so CC teach him one.

• CC’s were sensitive to cold but too proud to said it. One night, Lelouch realizes that she’s shaking in their tent and silently takes her in his arm

• He hates when CC talks about the mindless state he was. Not because how useless he is, but because it reminds him of how much a pain she suffers for him. It breaks his heart.

• Lelouch found a woman in desperate need of labor at the forest one day. CC’s expertly help her and deliver the baby successfully. That night, he told her that when CC names that baby girl, he felt like wanted to pick her up and told the entire world of how proud he is for having CC in his side.

• He’s blushed like a pig whenever CC’s mention the word ‘bath’ for he knows she’s seen it all.

• Lelouch good at singing, and CC’s could play ukulele. One day, nunnally visits them in their hideout and found the immortal duo lovingly sang a song together while holding each other close.

As well connected to shady people as I think C.C. is, I doubt she has top-level clearance to even sneak into an airport undetected... They could, but it's too much work for their current circumstance and is more trouble than it's worth. One day, they will. But in the beginning of their search, nah.

Lelouch will make sure to procure fake passports, IDs, and everything else.

Wait... On second thought, Lelouch has a Geass. I almost forgot... 🤣 FUCK! I guess they can travel by plane. (I still think it's impractical). But they can only do it if they successfully tie up loose ends along the way.

Lelouch picks up online ghost writing or proofreading as a career once they settle in Switzerland.

Actually you're wrong about circumcision. Besides the fact that it does help men keep their penis cleaner (because, let's be honest, no man ever has good enough hygiene to sport the old turtle neck.) it is proven that men who have it gone have a reduced risk of things like HIV. Also, the foreskin is utterly useless. The ONLY thing it's good for is if you lose your eyelids in a freak accident they can use it to make you new eyelids. That's IT.

Circumcision is actually MORE likely to cause infection due to the glans being exposed with no barrier. Circumcision is also EXTREMELY detrimental to infant boys. (warning graphic) The tissue is literally ripped off of and cut off at the base of an infants penis causing an open wound all around a very sensitive organ that is now contained inside a diaper with fecal matter and urine. When the skin is allowed to retract naturally, sometime between 3 years and puberty, it is easy to instruct boys to rinse it off during normal bathing. [source]

Now for some ACTUAL facts. C:

Circumcision has been practiced around the ancient world for millions of years and has rarely been done for good reasons.

It was a common practice in ALL cultures to circumcise captured slaves as a form of humiliation. This has been noted in almost every African tribe, most Native American tribes, and most indigenous Asian tribes.

On rare occasions it was done to emulate a rare condition where a ruler was born without his own foreskin, but, again, this was VERY rare.

Later in history some African tribes began to use it as a rite of passage for boys AND GIRLS. This practice is still done on both boys and girls and is often the cause of DEATH in young children either from infection or blood loss due to inadequate health services.

It wasn’t until the rise of Judaism when Circumcision was even associated with sex. Jewish leaders claimed that removing the foreskin was affective in stoping young boys and men from masturbating. Masturbation is considered a sin in Judeo Christian religions. Considering that Circumcision causes a loss of sensation, ya, it was technically true. Did not make it right.

The myths behind Circumcision being “cleaner” dates back to 20BC from a Jewish author named Philo of Alexandria. Among his claims of hygiene that have since been proven false many times (despite continued parroting), he also claimed the foreskin kept semen from reaching a womans egg. As for more modern western procedures?

Circumcision is done on NEWBORNS with very little pain relief and while the infant is AWAKE. The infant is strapped down onto a board, cutely given the name Circumstraints.

They are only given a local anesthetic (and sometimes not even given that!) which there are few actual studies done to tell the effectiveness of local anesthetic in newborns. The infant often screams through the entire procedure. Sometimes they pass out from the stress. After the procedure, as noted above, the open wound that is the entire glans of the tip of the penis is then put inside a diaper which is, by its nature, moist and filled with bacterium.

Opioid pain relievers are RARELY prescribed for infants in general because of the risk they pose on development. It is even more rarely given after a circumcision as its considered a normal procedure that does not need post procedure pain relief. However, studies show that thats not the case. A sharp rise in the hormone cortisol has been noted in infants during circumcision. This has shown to have a serious affect on the developing brain. Men who were circumcised as infants are often more sensitive to pain stimuli later in life. It has also been linked to higher instances of increased anxiety, depression, hyperactivity, and attention problems. Many infants also display symptoms of PTSD post circumcision making it clear this is not something they just “forget and get over” as many like to claim. If an older boy or man wishes to have the procedure that is their right. It is MUCH LESS INVASIVE post puberty and is done with more pain management and often general anesthesia.
