Let alone one that’s just enough to completely destroy it without any scraps left over for analyzing?!” he cries, clearly distraught by this fact.

“Judging your reaction I’m going to safely guess it’s not very simple,” Grian answers, lifting a brow.

“Not in the slightest! It’d take me at least five attempts, maybe more! It’s a scientific feat!” Mumbo pauses at the deadpan stare Grian gives him, visibly backtracking. “And… obviously it’s bad. Very bad, goodness me.”

was looking through old posts and i'm surprised to see that i seemingly didn't have any commentary on anything in 3 in chapter 7, 8 or 9, the posts related to 3's story go from "my first reaction when i saw yopple-bot was 'i love you. but also you are definitely the boss for this chapter-'" to "i have been in hell all day. hell being bada-bing tower." funny to me cuz those chapters are like, the best ones sdfkljsdfjfsdkjlfsdjkl-

a scene that you don’t want to write is a scene you don’t want to read. don’t write stuff you don’t want to read.

me, personally: wait until the scenes that get you to that first initial scene you were excited about are just as interesting as that scene too. it won’t be the first, second, or third thing you think of. if u have a scene you really want to write, write that, and keep writing only those exciting scenes that come to you. eventually you have a million interesting scenes for your fic and they become puzzle pieces for you to arrange and then eventually the strings come together and you realize you really do have an interesting way to get to that original scene, and you’re just as excited to write it, if you haven’t already written it when you were brainstorming other scenes earlier in the writing process that you didn’t even realize could carry your story like that.

so to see that the writers went down the path of "the player is happy about being the hero, despite their actions" doesn't. sit right with me. it's prolly just to keep the ESRB rating to be like E10+ or whatever, but it jus. doesn't make sense to me

man. flowey is still alive (or asriel) people think he died and a part of him did die but hes still alive. hes still alive and he had to live with the 1 (one) person he remembered being Actually Fun and understanding him is (mostly. narachara theory lives on + theyre there. To Me.) dead and everyone else is just a character in a game of which will run out of dialogue to say and hes trapped underground with the same people and same places in a neverending world where he can reset and reset but nothing will change he will still be haunted by an emptiness he literally cannot leave and Has to live with it and in the end. its alright. like hes presumably happy with papyrus in the undertale alarm clock dialogue. he has a ways to go but everythings a little better and maybe he can too.

also the fact he thought chara came back to life Literally in the genocide run is so fucked up you dont understand. he sees frisks body as charas, like he literally comments on mistaking frisk for chara (now mistaking Us for chara), and he asks how they got there, until he realizes toriel must have brought them for a proper burial. but he still asks why they came back and if they heard him calling to them do uou Know about that??????????????????????????? thats so fuckignt. ofuejwowgekedjbrleoegroejehr
