Oh I am fully with you on being against shipping irl!!! I definitely get quinntana/pezberry as the song progresses since it’s about falling in love while apart and that doesn’t canonically fit brittana. I’m biased when it comes to quinntana because the Yale to NY ldr plot is just so easy to work with (even if it is only 2 hours away)

The New Haven-New York commute is an appealing aspect of a Quinntana relationship. There's just something about a ~2-hour commute to go see your frenemy/FWB/girlfriend that calls to me. Like, I can just see them having a petty fight and Quinn practically storms out of the loft and New York itself only for Santana to immediately go after her but of course she misses the train so it's 2 hours before they see each other again. Idk, just delicious.

But back to CBBH, the beginning was giving me Diva and Britt sending Santana on her way vibes, or in general the LDR of season 4 vibes. "I can't help but wish you took me with you" and all. But I guess as the song went on and New York kept repeating + "I don't wanna miss you like this," that was a big Pezberry mood. I'm thinking a world where the feud never happened but either Santana moved or Rachel went to LA anyway. That would fit more with the "it took you being away for me to realize" feeling than Brittana do. Do you see what I mean, it's a Santana multiship song haha.
