#AAAAAAAAAAAAEEEIIGGHHHHHHHH#so yeah i beat gow last night and holy shit holy fuck#whatta game..... hwhatta game 👏#the last hour or two was just some of the most intense emotionally thrilling and satisfying gameplay i've had in years holy FUCK#it's not like it had the most highbrow story of all time it was actually quite simple and clichéd but it embraced that#and chose to excel at portraying that on a massive and unapologetically EPIC scale and it was just sooooo good!#i did [REDACTED]'s funeral quest before ending the game and maaaaaan#i watched the whole damn credit sequence#got triple gutted in the feels tho cause before ushering in ragnarok#i did the gay little cooking questline without fully realising that it was in fact gay#and so i looked up the story behind 'the ballad of jari and sómr'#only to find out that it was actually sam handrick's love letter to his bereaved jake snipes#which was heartbreaking in and of itself but to then see his name listed under 'in loving memory of ' was so......#whatta game......whatta game............#god of war#my nonsense#we don't talk about dark souls 2. fuck dark souls 2.
