Oh. You know. Just the parallels between Asakura and Andos, seeing Shin again after years and seeing how much he's grown.

Asakura seeing Shin after 11 years. Ando seeing Shin again after 13.

Except that Asakura was the one to raise Shin. He feed him. He changed his diapers. He saw Shin taking his first steps. He taught him how to speak. He was there when Shin lost his baby teeth. He ordered cartons of juice to the lab because Shin liked juice to his meals. He brought him to bed. He was there when Shin had nightmares as a kid. He gave him toys. He played with him. He took Shin to the bathroom after throwing up and made sure he's okay. He feels regret at accidentally making Shins life more difficult. He feels regret at not handling the ESP good enough and making Shin leave together with the other scientists. He regrets Shins feelings getting hurt. (And not looking for him probably, we don't know how the scientists immediately reacted to Shins dissapearance.)

Non of this for Ando. He put Shin in a dangerous place right after his birth, and although he got him out of there again, it doesn't seem like he's actually regretting putting him there in the first place. He just decided he actually doesn't want Shin in Al Kamaar. He doesn't what food Shin likes or doesn't like. He doesn't know any of his interests. He doesn't know what routines Shin had as a child to fall asleep, or what he needed when he couldn't sleep. He never got him a silly pyjama with a hat (TT)! At no point did he express regret in trying to kill Shin even. At no point did he express regret leaving Shin. At most he regrets saving Shin, at least partly, because it caused him to be hunted by the JAA.

Also. Asakura watches Shin walk ahead from behind. And recognizes how much his skills developed. Meanwhile Ando is holding onto Shin, almost as if he owns Shin.

Additionally: Despite (possibly) not looking for Shin, it's clear that he was thinking about him all the time. He asks Lu after "Shin the esper" so he must have at least kept his ears open for information about him, enough to know that Shin has a small reputation. (Even though he was probably sad to here that he became a hitman.) The next thing he asks IF Shin has grown taller. Not realizing that he's taller only when seeing him, but asking Shins friend already if he did before even reuniting with him.

And at the end he sees Shin being happy with his new family. And what does he do? Asks them to take care of Shin for him. VS Ando only telling Shin to 'live'. Not to take care, or be happy, just to live. (I know he was fucking dying but my point stands)

IN CONCLUSION: Shin is Asakuras baby, and Ando better pay the child support.

Ok so this post got me thinking about Zaundads and Jayvik parallels again

because who doesn't love a ship where the characters tried to brutally kill each other with their bare hands at least once?

Also,, I'm just now noticing how Viktor's mask thing is cracked on the opposite side of where Silco's scar is and the crack is very much in the same shape. That's probably pure coincidence but STILL.

Also that look of fear Viktor has,, and also Silco's rat-ass face staring back at Vander when Vander first grabs him by the throat....yeah,,,

Anyways, people always love saying how Vi and Jinx parallel Vander and Silco, and they use that to "defend" their claims about Vanco/Zaundads being incest since they mirror actual siblings (which is ridiculous) but when you like ACTUALLY use your brain and think about it, Zaundads moreso parallel Jayvik than anything.

Some ramblings under the cut-

The argument for Vi and Jinx with Zaundads is all taken from those two scenes (you know the ones) that are so blatantly meant to parallel each other. But that's about where the similarities end.

Sure, they also go their separate ways despite being close at one point, but with the sisters, it wasn't by choice!! With Vi, how she reacted was an accident! It was an in-the-moment sort of thing, the mistake of a child who had just undergone a whole ordeal of trauma.

Meanwhile with Vander and Silco, Vander was out to kill Silco. Maybe on the bridge it was an in-the-moment reaction he had to Felicia and Connol's deaths but that man had a knife. He had a weapon he could have EASILY used to finish the job, and instead he chose to use his bare hands. Instead, he chose to violently drown Silco, and when Silco got away, Vander tried to do it again. He wasn't done. There was no quick realization of what he'd done like what Vi had when Jinx's nose started to bleed.

Then in the Cannery, it's not in the moment. They want to kill each other. I think that was pretty obvious, and for good reason too. Vander for self-defense, to protect his kids, Silco for revenge and maybe even some peace of mind, but I digress.

Then there's the split, which is arguably another parallel for the two of them. They go their separate ways, become enemies, yadada.

That happens with Jayvik too! And their separation more closely parallels Zaundad's one than the sister's.

With Jayvik and Zaundads, their wants and dreams conflicted with each other. They separated and went their own ways to pursue their own dreams once their shared visions didn't align with each other's anymore. On top of that, this separation happens after Viktor and Silco realize they can't trust their partner anymore. Vander because he tried to fucking kill Silco and Jayce because he broke his promise to Viktor and revived him with the Hexcore. Then when they cross paths again after that fall out, they try to kill each other (once more in the case of Zaundads, lol).

The only reason why Vi and Jinx diverted paths is because Vi was kidnapped, arrested, and taken into Stillwater! She was taken away from Jinx not by choice! The others chose to walk away from each other. Sure, Vi was leaving to go, but she was ready to go back the minute she saw Jinx in danger, but she couldn't. Their situations drew them apart, outside forces not within their control separated them, but they didn't leave each other by choice like Viktor and Jayce, and Silco and Vander.

Anyways, further parallels to the two pairs off the top of my head:

- Jayvik and Zaundads both started out having dreams of making their worlds a better place. - A breakage of trust and a divergence in those dreams causes them to separate - They try to kill each other on multiple occasions - After their paths diverge from each other, Silco/Viktor give Vander/Jayce a chance to join them on their "shared dream" once more - but they refuse - "In all timelines" - Jayvik always meeting and Zaundads being together in the AU, where everything is right in the world - Called each other "brothers" at one point - Viktor and Silco being all high and mighty about not having sentiments or anything, building walls around them - yet Viktor still has Jayce's blanket and Silco still has Vander's knife (plus the photo of him, Vander, and Felicia and the "Our Love" vinyl) - Jayce and Vander being major factors in Viktor and Silco's becoming of the monster that they are - their choices and broken promises leading Viktor and Silco down their paths and causing more problems along the way - Idk how to explain it but they just bring out the best and the worst out of each other - It's big hunk puppy dog x Zaunite twink shimmer user essentially

I'll never get over someone saying that Jayvik is Zaundads, but if Zaundads had chosen each other instead of their dreams.

I think about that every now and then and just burst into tears.

Jayvik broke the cycle. AU Zaundads broke that cycle too.

Just had a thought that's pretty angsty, maybe even a tad out of character lol but you can tell me if you choose to answer this, but I wonder if Macaque was the one to first notice that Xiaoxing couldn't use any magic, and I wonder if at first Macaque was worried that Wukong would suddenly thing less of their son and tried to hide it at first. Of course his worries aren't needed becasue the only thing Wukong feels now is worry for his son's safety since he 1- already got kidnapped as a baby once and 2- by association to both him and Macaque could be a target in the future. Cue a cute moment where Wukong is just like "Whatever, he can't use magic, but considering everything I'm just glad you're both alive."

Also completely unrelated thought (sorry I just love this au it gives me a lot of thoughts lol) but do you think that maybe shadowpeach suspected that Xiaoxing might be able to use magic in the future? Like I imagine the kid has some sort of magical aura or smth which would be a bit odd for him to have if there was no magic in him at all, so maybe the parents see that and wonder if there's something there that just hasn't shown itself Yet. But that's not the type of thing they can really do anything about so they just leave it and wait and see. And then they end up being proven right at The Angsitest Moment Possible :D

I like the way ya think anon😁 and definitely not out of character cause yeah Mac would definitely notice first and would try and hide it because of how turbulent shadopeaches' relationship is at the beginning of their co-parenting arc but you're right Wukong doesn't care because at the end of everything, power has been a source of a lot of disfortune in his life, and if he's own child doesn't have to deal with the intricasies of power levels and politics and just live a normal life the better.

If anything he begins to put countermeasures and become even more protective of Xiaoxing, he looks into whether the lack of magic would be harmful, even reaches out to Guanyin for help which she assures everything is okay, then he comes back to ffm relieved , and then at one point he sits down with Macaque and for the first time in centuries they have a proper heart to heart, they don't talk about their past just about Xiaoxing, and holding his hands Wukong promises that Xiaoxing not gaving magic doesn't chage anything and that he loves him the same and that he'll do anything to keep him safe as he grows up, which Macaque just short circuits because he's used to the Wukong who was power hungry, the Wukong who kept stricing for more magic, more immortalities, more power, and for this Wukong, the one sat in front of him holding his hands gently, to look him in the eye and tell him that power doesn't matter to him more than the safety of their child, that Xiaoxing could never gain magic and he would not love him less for that, just takes all the air out of his lungs.

And for the first time, Macaque actually sees that Wukong has changed.

As for whether they knew he had magic, I'm gonna say no, his power was pretty locked, he did have small traces of it growing up but the kid was basically a celestial primate, so he's already a magical being so people pretty much correlated both of those things instead of maybe him having some unlocked magic.

Why it was unlocked? I'm not sure yet, but if we go by what i wrote before than it was a survival mechanism that only allows him to access his magic when he thinks/is in grave trouble, so as a baby he just assumes he needs to ward off enemies as soon as he is born because of how stressed Macaque was through it all, but after being moved to ffm he basically lives a safe stress free life. So there's no need for all of his reserves of magic.

I parallel Xiaoxing to Gohan when they access their power, like only in moments of rage or danger they get a power boost that makes them the strongest person around.

Whether or not Xiaoxing is able to access that power after all the world ending events pass is still up in the air rn.

Sam hides away for two days after you fall.

Eventually, after days of silence, someone on the team must have called Kristie because Sam gets a phone call that essentially tells her to get up off her ass and go to Magda and Pernille's house to either apologise again or beg for forgiveness.

Thoughts swirl in her mind as she approaches the house. The thought at the very forefront is if Magda will ever leave you alone with her again.

You've got an infectious energy that she loves and seeing your broken little body at the bottom of the stairs was traumatising.

You stand on shaky feet (shakier than Sam's ever seen you) and try to wander over. You can't though because Magda catches you by the waist and holds you close.

"Magda," Pernille says, her voice low in warning.

Magda relents with a huff and lets you go towards Sam. You make it two steps before you've seemingly exhausted yourself and crawl over.

Up close, your bandage looks even worse and Sam's sure that she can just about make out the bruise poking out from under it. She almost shudders in disgust at herself but with Magda looking like she's a second away from snapping you into her arms again, Sam doesn't.

"It's a koala," She says instead.

You blink up at her, crinkle in your brow as you try to translate her words. It's slower than usual and Sam knows that this concussion must be really bad. You're somewhat of a language prodigy, picking everything up like a sponge.

"Koala," You echo, brushing a finger over the little Steve Irwin-esque hat the toy is wearing," Koala."

"Yeah, koala."

Sam digs around in the box again, bringing out a soft blanket and pillow she had eyed up when she went shopping a few weeks ago.

"This is for you too."

You take it slowly before rubbing the blanket over your face.

Sam looks to Magda and Pernille - who has curled herself into Magda's side and is holding one of her hands.

"I...Er...I read somewhere that kids with concussions get tired a lot."

"That's very thoughtful, Sam," Pernille praises before elbowing Magda in the gut," Isn't that right, Magda?"

"Yeah," Magda grunts," It is."

It's very clear that she's still very annoyed at Sam for what's happened but isn't willing to say anything with you in the room.

You stand up on your shaky feet again, clutching the blanket in one hand and the koala in the other. You stumble forward and Sam watches as both of your mothers surge forward.

Pernille gets there first, pulling you securely into her body and tucking your face into her neck. "Okay, okay, princesse," She says quietly as you fidget and whine," We're gonna stay right here for a moment, alright? No walking."

You struggle weakly against her hold before sagging as a wave of exhaustion comes over you.

Sam watches as Pernille settles fully on the floor, wrapping you up tightly in the blanket as you lay on her. You're still holding the koala, rubbing it over your cheeks and letting out happy little giggles at the soft feeling.

At Sam's staring, Pernille explains," She's been exhausted lately...because of the concussion. She doesn't have the energy to do a lot of the things she likes to."

Sam gnaws at her cheek, flashing back to how disorientated and confused you were when you first got hurt. "Her walking-"

"She's getting better," Magda cuts her off, still glaring," She's doing fine. She's good. She's recovering. There's nothing more to say."

Her tone is firm and makes it clear she doesn't want to talk about your symptoms. Pernille lays a hand on her shoulder and Magda settles for a moment before pulling you into her arms. You end up in the same position you were in when Sam arrived, sitting between Magda's legs and leaning back comfortably against her.

"Koala," You say again, slowly like you're sounding out the letters," Koala."

"Ja," Magda says," Koala."

"Koala."

You stare at it for a moment before sighing a great big huff and pulling the blanket over your head.

"Nap time," Pernille says quietly. She takes you back from Magda, keeping your head covered as she moves to lie on the sofa.

You don't fight like you normally do and a lump forms in Sam's chest when Magda stares at her for a moment before indicating that they leave the room.

They end up in the hallway, with Magda closing the door so you're impromptu nap won't be interrupted.

"That's my kid," She says finally," My only child."

"And she got hurt. On your watch. You said that you would get her back to the changing room. I trusted you. Pernille trusted you."

"I know. I'm sorry."

Magda sighs, hands clenched into fists and, for a moment, Sam wonders if she'll swing. "I've watched that video so many times. And..." There's silence for a moment. "And she slipped on a bit of ice. You couldn't have caught her."

Sam freezes in shock. That wasn't what she expected Magda to say. "Wh-What?"

"What I'm saying is...I'm sorry for throwing you against the wall. And I'm sorry for yelling at you like that. It's just...She's my kid and it scared me."

"I..." Sam has to take a moment to collect her thoughts. "I'm sorry too. For everything."

The thank you from you comes barely half an hour after you've woken up from your nap. Pernille guides you over to Sam, who has been allowed to stay just a bit longer by Magda.

You hum as you glance around the room - at the soft corners of your house and the pile of soft, fuzzy things that have accumulated around you.

"Than...Thank you," You manage to get out eventually after several long seconds of nothing," Thank you, Sam, for-for my...for my presents."

It's slow and halting at times and your voice is incredibly quiet but Sam still manages a smile.

"You're welcome, kid. I'm glad you're feeling better."

You smile softly - it's more of a lift of the corner of your mouth than a true smile but Sam takes it. "Not too better," You say, turning yourself so you're pressed against Sam's chest, voice dropping so Magda and Pernille couldn't hear you," 'Cause I get to sleep in the Big Bed when I'm hurt."

It's been years since you nearly got caught in that explosion along with Vi. Years. You weren't even close to being over it. You'd almost died. That was... well, the closest thing to a near death experience you'd ever had. It was terrifying. You were just a kid. It still haunted you in your dreams. Seared into your mind as though it had just happened in the present moment. Ghosts like that never really leave.

You'd been up working in your girlfriend's workshop. She often let you tinker with the bits she wasn't going to use. Who was she to stop a creative mind, after all? You caught a flicker of a blue flash from a spark and suddenly you were back in that fancy piltover workshop. Your breathing picked up, the sound of an explosion ringing between your ears. Your eyes teared up and you cupped the side of your head. Screaming to get out the overstimulation you were feeling. Or, at least trying to get it out. Your whole body buzzed with phantom pain. A jitter to your bones you couldn't quite shake.

Powder had just gotten home after visiting with Vander and Silco at the bar. Humming happily to herself. Until your scream cut through the air. Panic flared inside her chest, adrenaline spiking. She burst the door open so fast she was shocked it didn't go flying. Her heart sank at the sight of you; her legs moving before her mind could catch up. In no time at all, she had you in her arms. Cradling you. Holding you close with care. Fearing to make it worse.

"Shh, shh, you're okay. Just breathe. You're at the workshop. Breathe. Feel the seat under you," Powder tried desperately to ground you. It wasn't her first time handling the PTSD you had. She'd come to learn your triggers and the methods that helped calm you.

You could faintly hear your girlfriend talking. But you couldn't see her. Not- her her, anyway. You saw little Powder. The workshop. Little Powder trying to talk to you and ease you through it. This- wasn't how the memory went. The realization of that is what helped you to start grounding yourself. Slowly, the fancy workshop around you faded. Replaced with the familiar one you'd grown to find comfort in. The colours. The work bench. The art work on the walls that was a combination of both yours and Powder's drawings. Heck, even Mylo got around to sticking one up of himself. It was terribly drawn and you couldn't help but chuckle looking at. Even in your state.

Powder looked down at you, following your eyes to the picture Mylo had put up recently. She smirked, her thumb brushing your arm," Mylo isn't the best artist in the world, is he?" Powder asked. Hoping the picture would make for the perfect distraction for you.

You shook your head, leaning into her chest," no. I've seen better drawings from kids," you laughed. Powder eased at the sound. You were laughing, that was a good sign. Even if it was at Mylo's expense.

"Yeah, I can't tell if that's supposed to be his arm or his head," Powder pointed to the art. Squinting her eyes to get a better look. Maybe it was a blaster of some sort? Fuck if she knew.

"Pfft, he looks more like a spider than a Mylo," you smirked at your own comment. Powder burst out laughing, nodding in agreement to you. He did, didn't he? He could have presented the drawing as a spider and she would have fully believed it.

Powder's eyes focused back on you. Her expression softened, admiring the little crinkle next to your eye. Caused by the smile on your lips. You turned around pretty quickly this time. Maybe that was a sign of it getting better? Powder sure hoped so. She didn't like seeing you in pain, "How you feeling?" She asked, being careful not to trigger you again.

"Better," you murmured. Snuggling up to your girlfriend in the chair. Eyes still on Mylo's picture. Who knew a poorly drawn Mylo would have been what helped calm you down?

"Good," Powder gave you a gentle kiss. Your lips moving against hers in slow, practiced movements. The last of the memory fading from your mind. Hoping that it wouldn't be back any time soon.

Am I the only one drawing wicked parallels between them? And not just the fact that I'm jealous of their hair...

Spoilers for Alien Stage (through Round 5 to Weige)! Seriously, don't read if you haven't watched Weige specifically.

They're both very loyal to their friends and would risk their lives for them (and did in fact risk their lives for them). Baji didn't want Mikey to kill Kazutora over him, hence him stabbing himself. While Hyuna definitely hated or at least really disliked Luka, she wanted to let go of her hate. She was also probably very conflicted because they used to be close friends. Either way, she put herself in the line of fire to protect Luka from being shot.

This could also be aligned with them both being selfless. Hyuna's first action after escaping is literally going back to the Anakt Garden after losing her leg to try to free the other kids. She went back to the place that she'd just escaped from to help others, risking her own freedom and/or life on the process. Baji left Toman because he realized that he couldn't take down Kisaki without causing conflict with him and Mikey. He basically jeopardized his relationship with Mikey and the rest of Toman by joining another gang to find a way to get rid of Kisaki. To everyone else (minus Chifuyu), it looked like he betrayed them.

Additionally, they both have a wilder side and like to cause trouble. Baji is described as liking the thrill of adrenaline and Mikey says that he'll punch people and start fights for no reason, just because he feels like it. The two of them are both described as having smiles on their faces while fighting, even in dangerous situations like Hyuna's often in. She'll be blasting robots and blowing stuff up. Even when she saves Mizi in All-In (notably not Round 5, presumably because of Luka'a presence), she's grinning.

But despite having this wild side, they both care a lot for others, specifically their friends. Hyuna cared for Luka before he killed Hyun Woo, the three of them were really close friends. Hyuna also took in Mizi after saving her with zero hesitation, and she continued to look out for Mizi throughout the events they went through in All-In. In Blink Gone, she didn't want Mizi to go back to save Till because Mizi would be risking everything going right back to Alien Stage and could potentially get killed or get dragged back into the competition. Baji had a lot of faith in Ryusei and Chifuyu and knew he could trust both of them, and he knew he could let loose around them. Baji used Takemichi punching Kisaki as an excuse to leave, yes, but he was also saving Takemichi from a much worse fate because at that point, Takemichi (who iirc wasn't even an official member of the gang yet) had just punched the newly appointed third division captain. Baji mentions several times that he doesn't want to disappoint his mom, hence why he does his best to study. Not to mention that he was sending letters to Kazutora while the latter was locked up in the detention center, even though Kazutora had been the one to convince Baji to sneak into Shin's shop with him and nearly got Baji sent to the detention center too for Shin's murder. The only reason he wasn't was because Mikey testified for him.

They both died for people they cared about. Like I said earlier, Baji stabbed himself so that his death wouldn't be on Kazutora's hands and thus would get him killed by Mikey. Even though Kazutora had stabbed him earlier, Baji was still trying to protect him even though it meant that he'd die in the process. Hyuna, up until the events of Round 7 (at least from what I can tell), had despised Luka, but she was finally ready to let go of that. She took the bullet meant for him because deep down, she still cared for him. Her last words to him were, "I resented you so. I had to keep moving forward in every moment... but you were always my one and only weakness. That's why I resented you so. Luka, live with love. Embrace the pain, the frailty, and the moments so unbearably shameful. Forgive yourself... again and again, endlessly. Because everything... begins from there." She wanted him to lead a better life and used her last words to him to tell him that. They both cared and died for people that were very complicated and had some (putting it politely) issues to work through (let's not forget that Luka killed Hyuna's brother because he wanted her for himself and wasn't willing to "share" her with Hyun Woo).

I'm sure there's way more to analyze between the two of them but yeah, I'll leave it here. I just had to get it all out of my brain so I could take a nap.

For this scenario??? I imagine that both Malenoa and Levan and Silver Owls all died during that ambush on the Princess' castle, leaving only Lilia and Silver behind on its ruins.

If the case that Silver is from the enemy's nation, then doesn't Lilia had every reason to dislike Silver and even just... straight up murder him— because after all, Silver Owls was the reason "his wings were cut off" (if we parallel it to what happened in Maleficent ).

But he didnt 💥 and ISTG that is the question that I really really REALLY want to get answered in Book 7--- WHEN DID LILIA AND SILVER MEET ‼️💥

I really like the fact of Silver seeing through Lilia's hardened attitude towards him— like he knows deep down Lilia relates to this kid abandoned by war , and despite his harsh words, he couldn't swing his weapon so easily to him— very unlike of how at ease he was killing this baby's supposed soldiers—

I think its nice (and tearjerking) to think that after that war only Silver (despite being a baby) was the one "who listened to his cries"

And at that point, maybe Lilia realizes that this human and him are not so different

I think the theme of the white rabbit is so fitting for what's happening in Book 7— White Rabbit centered about running on time— last update was about Lilia hurrying back to the castle hoping he'll make it in time to save Malenoa. Because Book 7 deals heavily with "running out of time" angst, I wonder if his wish in this dream was that he was on time in saving Malenoa.

Sometimes, I wish to see Lilia breaking down in game 😂 even though i knowww he canonically hates appearing to be weak ARGH.... 😔😔

does he cry at night thinking about why hes the only one who survived amongst the three of them... does he blame himself for not being on time, for being not cautious enough to forsee the enemy's plan was to kill and not make peace...

Hey, I saw your work, cardbots, and the reader is a cybertronian. How about the idea of ​​a cybertronian reader and the Brave police team?

Hmm, so here it is....

The reader is a scientist/researcher who, at the end of the war, decides to leave the planet and do some research.

Along the way, he experiments with a prototype of a pocket space bridge.

The war was exhausting and fruitless, it only brought destruction. You on the other hand saw no break through with your inventions, which made you think of leaving Cybertron. You would miss it, but science needs sacrifices. With that in your processor, you had bought a sip and set off for the journey.

At first nothing was wrong, everything worked well. He of course couldn't entirely rest and still worked on his inventions. Unfortunately you forgot to secure one of your projects correctly. It really wouldn't matter if there wasn't a meteor shower that hit his ship and with how strong it was, the invention fell out. As a result it turned on - your prototype of a pocket space bridge.

When you realised what happened, it was already too late. It activated and created a wrap so strong it transported you not only to another galaxy, but a whole another universe. You didn't know that of course at first, slowly waking up from emergency stasis and wanting to contact a close by Autobot. You discovered there were no signals, no Autobots, no Decepticons, no Cybertronians, simply said nothing.

This in turn made you excited, you were probably the first to travel to an entirely different world. You took this chance and started exploring. You have heard about Earth from your other comrades and if you were correct - the Milky Way, the name of this galaxy, was a perfect replica of yours.

You decided to land on the planet, it is not an everyday situation to bridge into an parallel universe and you would make the best of it. Your thirst for knowledge pushed you past any restraints. You came to realise this version of Earth had more advanced technologies, but still not nearing your cybertronian ones.

It gave you an opportunity to learn about this planet. You quietly explored to the best of your abilities, but the thought of your home still lingered in the back of your processor. You choose to not lose your spark, everything new is waiting to be discovered by you. That is untill you went to Japan as there was a program announced - robot policemen fighting for justice. You were interested and ultimately decided to pay Nanamagari City a visit.

It was the best decision ever! At first you watched them take care of crimes from sidelines. How did humans manage to built them? A shock for you was that a young boy was their boss, Yuuta Tomonaga. He must be special if the commissioner made adjustment just for the kid to join the police force.

Of course you presence was not hidden for long. You were so invested in the Brave Police's fight you forgot to look out for humans. This lead you to become a star on the internet. Following this, the police immediately started to look for you and you had no intention of hiding anymore. You patiently waited inside your ship that landed near a forest for them to show up.

Deckerd was confused when the first thing he was greeted by wasn't a physical attack, but rather verbal one. You started asking him about himself and observed his frame from up close, complimenting humans' job on it being sturdy and practical. It made him embarrassed to a degree. You looked like those science doctors he saw Yuuta once read about.

Yuuta was excited to meet you, an alien from another world? So cool! He listens to you even if he doesn't understand many words related to science. He is clearly brave and thanks to him Deckerd exists, you want to study this phenomenon so badly.

Dumpson was sceptical - you from another world? He was suspicious of you, but after seeing one of your inventions he changed his mind. How the heck did you managed to build an energy tunnel that could teleport you to the other side of Earth. How?! And he thought he saw everything already.

Power Joe was stunned, an alien that looked similar to them? Was it a coincidence? He hopes he got on your good side, he doesn't want to be used as a test subject for your inventions. What do you mean it's harmless?! There is no way you will make him stand next to this weird suitcase. He doesn't even want to know what is inside.

Mccrane thought of you as a good ally. You could practically build something from nothing. He is one of those who let you upgrade his weapon, to a limited extent. Don't get him started about when he saw your blueprints and ideas - what would he need a laser for? And a grenade luncher?! He is a policemen! What do you mean it was normal on your home planet?!

Shadowmaru was confused when he saw you observing him like he was a trophy. You on the other servo couldn't believe humans built a multiple-changer. He could transform into a dog, or as he corrected you a wolf, a jet and a tank. He even once got turned into a fragging gigantic cannon. How cool was that?

Drill Boy, the football enthusiast he is, often asked you to play with him. You at first as politely as you could rejected his offer, but you decided to give in after he promised to halp you test one of your inventions. Who would have guessed he could teach you how to play in one hour?

Gunmax was interesting. He seemed distant at first, but gradually cracked a joke or two. You had to admit - his engrish was extraordinary. He reminded you of a bad cop, while Deckerd acted like a good cop. Their friendship was weird, but it worked. You needed to research more about them, everything was just so exciting.

Duke was cold at first, trying to follow every rule set by Regina or as he called her - Lady. His sword skills were worth looking at, there was a reason he was called the Knight Detective afterall. Though he had an interesting way to interpret things, so depressing yet so realistic. It made you want to know more about him.

You cannot wait to know more! The thought alone made you jump from the excitement. Who would have guessed leaving Cybertron was the best choice ever?

Spoilers for Sonic 3. This is just a rant. I just really want to get my thoughts out there and everything off my chest because I am just so upset, like really really upset. I am shocked I have heard nothing but praise for this movie. It really got my hopes up. I really didn't like the other ones. I'm not a big fan of the live action plus animated characters combo, The characters still look super uncanny and weird to me. I also really don't like Jim Carrey, I realllllly reallly don't like him. I don't find him funny at all. He's got kind of that millennial humor where it seems he thinks making weird faces and acting goofy is the peak of humor. Idk if younger kids find that funny, I feel like I wouldn't even as a kid. But I especially don't like it now, I'm just old man, I'm tired. I really wanted this movie to be a little more mature. Shadow Generations did such a good job. Dark Beginnings was amazing. I wish this movie could have felt more like that.

These movies just don't feel like Sonic at all. I know everyone gets sick of people complaining about Sonic's personality in these. But I think those are valid complaints. He just doesn't act or feel like Sonic and I don't think anything they do can make me view him as Sonic.

I just can't get over the whole Sonic the other characters being aliens from a different planet thing. It makes it hard to introduce other characters. And it completely changed who Sonic is. And now it's changed who Shadow is. Shadow is now just Sonic but edgy. He's just Sonic but if he got caught and put in a lab instead of living by himself and later getting adopted by humans. They took the Shadow being a darker version of Sonic thing literally. They changed everything about his backstory all while talking about how they wanted to do his backstory right.

It just hurts so much. I know I shouldn't be so affected by this. But I have been a fan of the Sonic franchise for so long and Shadow has always been one of my favorite characters of all time. And it hurts to have had my hopes up for this movie even a little bit thinking it would at least be better than the others and be so so disappointed. Maybe I don't have a right to complain because I didn't actually finish watching it. I started crying and ended up leaving around 45 mins in. Really embarrassing. I just couldn't enjoy it. I really really didn't like the Jim Carrey parts, they were painful. I was willing to sit though them because I wanted to see Shadow's backstory brought to screen in a big movie. But then then they explain his backstory and it's nothing like the games.

He crashed to earth in a comet. He wasn't created by Gerald. Maria wasn't sick. They didn't live on Space Colony Ark. I was so confused. I never even considered that they would change any of this. I thought the gun commander was just lying to Sonic about where Shadow came from so Sonic would work for them or something. But then they show the flashback with Maria and it's still the same. I ended up quickly looking up on my phone it they changed his backstory for this movie and they did. I just don't get why. I've seen people say because it wouldn't make sense in the movie universe because in the movies Sonic and friends are aliens. So they decide to just make Shadow an alien just like them?? I feel like they could have made his backstory work somehow. They didn't even try. Now he's just a literal dark parallel to Sonic. He's always been so but not like this. Do they think the most important part of his backstory is that he was in a lab, there was a professor and also a little girl he was friends with that gets killed.

It just kills me that they changed everything about Maria. She's not sick??? I guess if she's not sick it makes no sense for Gerald to have been researching a way to cure her or anything. I hate it so much. Shadow being just an alien takes away so much depth from all of their characters. Maria is the reason Shadow exists in the first place. She was so important. Their relationship was so important. It feel so much more meaningful for Shadow to have been created by her grandfather to cure her, than him just being some alien she was friends with. Her being sick but also so kind and hopeful was so important. She gets killed by the government when they raided a place that was trying to find a cure for her and she still tells Shadow to protect the people of earth. Maria was so important but now she's just some kid he was friends with I guess. I hate that they took away her sickness and her disability. I loved that the journal that came with Sonic x Shadow Generations portrayed that more. I loved that they showed it actually affecting her. I loved them showing her in the wheelchair hooked up to the iv bag but she was still smiling. She was still strong and hopeful despite everything and she still wanted Shadow to protect the earth despite what happened. And this movie took all that away from her character. I hate it.

Them just living on earth on some base makes me so upset. I was excited to see them on the Space Colony Ark. I wanted to see them looking out the window of the ark at the earth but instead I get them laying in the grass looking at the stars. Maria was so tragic because she loved the earth so much but she couldn't be there because she was sick. They took all of those parts of her character away.

I don't know how Professor Gerald was portrayed all I've seen of him was what was in the trailers and the brief glimpse I got before I left and I've hated everything I've seen. Gerald has never been as silly a character as Eggman. But it seems like Jim Carrey was playing him exactly the same. I assume he changes and acts different towards the end but my impression of him was already ruined. What's the point of him if he didn't create Shadow as a way to cure his granddaughter. It takes away so much from his character. He was also a tragic character. Him trying to do good with his research but then using his creation, Shadow as a weapon against humanity after his granddaughter is killed even after his death is ruined. He's still alive and he didn't create Shadow. I hate it so much. It's not as tragic with him still being alive. Did they have him still be alive so Jim Carrey could play double the annoying wacky roles. Gerald Robotnik is supposed to be a sad tragic old man but all I got was Jim Carrey in goofy looking prosthetic makeup.

Look I know it's a kids movie but couldn't they at least of made it a little less silly. The games were also kids games. Shadow Generation was also a kids game but it did a way better job with handling these characters. Maria and Gerald were Shadow's family. Gerald was his dad, sort of, I hate that they changed that. I guess Maria was still like family with him in this (idk what his relationship with Gerald was I didn't watch that far) but it's not the same.

I loved the Space Colony Ark, I loved it being some research lab up in space. What about artificial chaos, the biolizard, emerl??? None of that is a thing in these movies. It just sucks sooo much. Everything I love about the games is not in this movie. I couldn't finish watching it because I was so upset about the changes. It was bothering me so much it made Jim Carrey so much more insufferable. I am wondering if Shadow still has some connection to the Black Arms because he did fall to earth in a suspicious looking comet. I don't know if I even care because they already took away all the most important parts of his backstory.

Shadow's backstory being changed also kind of ruined the whole Sonic and his powers being sort of a natural force of nature thing and Shadow and his power being a man made thing. Like Shadow is always claiming to be the ultimate life form but he almost can't live up to Sonic's natural talent. It makes their rivalry so much more interesting. I also hate them having such similar backstories here. Sonic is supposed to be unburdened, free as the wind, living in the present, we don't even know what his backstory is. While Shadow is nothing but backstory, haunted by the past and burdened with tragedy.

Movie Sonic is nothing like game Sonic. There is very little that I love about game Sonic present in movie Sonic. I hate that since movie Sonic has a backstory they decided to take most of Shadow's backstory away so he would parallel Sonic. They really just made him Sonic but not nice.

I've just wanted to see a fully animated Sonic movie for years. I've especially wanted to see Sonic Adventure 2 adapted as an animated movie. These movies ruined my chance of seeing that. I thought this movie would be as close as I'd ever get to seeing SA2 in movie form. But there was nothing about it that was similar. Shadow may have the right personality but he has none of his backstory. Sonic isn't anything like Sonic. Tails is Tails I guess. I don't really care much about Knuckles but he doesn't even feel similar to his game counterpart.

I really hate everything they are doing with this movies. It's fine if people like them. I'm not trying to change anyone's opinion. I just really wanted to write how I feel about them because this one really upset me. I've cried a lot because of it. Which is silly I know. Shadow's character was important to me and so was Maria and it hurts so see so much changed about it. I had a dream a couple nights ago that I was watching this movie in theaters. In the dream there was some kind of change I didn't like and the movie was really short and I was really disappointed about it. I remember being upset about it because it sucked so bad. And the same thing happened when I actually saw the movie. They changed a lot and it was short because I left early. I just usually don't get excited for things because they usually disappoint me. I was kinda looking forward to this one and the good reviews didn't help. I was probably more excited than I realized because I did dream about it multiple times. I was disappointed in every dream. Usually when I am looking forward to something I have dreams about the thing where it sucks. I never been this thoroughly disappointed though. I think this is going to ruin my enjoyment of the Sonic franchise, everytime I see anything Sonic I think this movie and the disappointment that came with it is going to pop into my head.

Something that really bothers me is this quote from the director.

They didn't want too many characters so they could get Shadow's backstory right??? They got nothing about it right. I wish they wouldn't have added Gerald in the movie. He felt unnecessary. I would have much rather have had Rouge than another Jim Carrey. Rouge is important to Shadow's character. She was introduced in the same game. I hate that she was just sidelined like that. Them talking about how they wanted to do Shadow's backstory right just got my hopes up too much.

The lead up to the movie made me more excited than I should have been I guess. I preordered Sonic x Shadow Generations when it was announced. I played it when it came out, it had everything I loved about Shadow's character in it. I went to the Sonic Symphony this November. I felt like this movie, even if it wasn't great would at least be a fun way to end all of that. But it really just left me feeling awful.

I'm sure these movies have been great for the Sonic franchise. The money made from them probably helps them make better games. They've probably introduced a more people and kids to the Sonic franchise. I just kinda hate that this is the version they are introduced to.

I'm just so upset but I keep thinking something's wrong with me because everyone else seems to be enjoying it but I just can't. I don't think I am going to be watching any more of these movies, this one killed any interest.

Aanywas. 3- dream needs therapy

I have.... a problem. With dream specifically. You see- I. I can't see him happy in any way whatsoever. For.. probably 3 years neow all I see is his life getting worse with a bad ending- all I see is dream angst- that's a problem!11 Basically I can't imagine him with a sense of self. He was used for child labour when he was a kid- but at that time, Nightmare was there to humanise him. But then the trauma happens and for whatever reason Dream continues to do labour- except neow it's in the entire multiverse which is way too much pressure. Due to the way Dream grew up, he feels he needs to help with no breaks, and Nightmare is no longer there to make him take breaks. All Dream does neow is help others nonstop- leaving no time to spend on himself. So yeh. No sense of self. I don't think I have more to share-

4- Dreamtale rehabilitation arc

For unspecified reasons, Nightmare wants to become better. Ofc Dream is the only one willing to give him a chance- so he's there to like. Rehabilitate Nightmare. Nightmares still very narcissistic tho so. There's issues. Anyways Nightmare has to learn to deal with the consequences of his actions, bc his actions against the multiverse cannot be justified. He used to be hated without reason, making what he did to the villagers feel justified, but his actions against the multiverse couldn't be justified bc the multiverse hadn't done anything to nightmare and that sucks. For nightmare anyways. Dream has to teach Nightmare to be nicer and everything. So they get to spend quality time.

Anyways during this time Nightmare realises Dream's bad habits of not taking care of himself. So there happens this parallel thing where Dream teaches Nightmare to be nicer to others, and Nightmare teaches Dream to be nicer to himself. They also realise how different the other is. For so long they only got to see each other in battle, and never saw each other beyond that. And they've changed a lot since last they met. This part is more of a re-introduction thing. They decide they're strangers and just introduce themselves over again as if they actually were strangers(they basically are-). There was more but I got distracted and forgor the rest-

An undertale AU... that isn't focused on the multiverse!??!?!?! I've always wanted to make an undertale AU that is-- an UNDERTALE au- so we have the monsters the humans and the underground. Honestly I don't remember too much, but what I do remember.. I don't remember the deal but the monsters all have flowers growing on them. I think it was a curse of some kind? According to old dialogue made for the AU-they're not supposed to have the flowers. Either way, they're normalised and I don't think it hurts them.. The general concept is simple. All monsters have a specific type of flower. I have a list for that- other than that it constantly changes,, the story.. the characters... School AU.. it's really for the nostalgia. I love love loved Wattpad school fics. ..can't find any good ones anymore tho. Not like I can find any new Wattpad fics at all- I've had like. 3 school AUs before but the most recent one.... follows Cross. Cross rich family yes, except his parents are divorced and his mom took his siblings and he stays with his dad. Anyways Cross lives at place. He goes to school and is best bros with Epic. But then out of NOWHERE his dad says they're gonna move(for some reason the place they were gonna move to got very specifically named Monvera). Cross doesn't get to say goodbye to Epic properly- and just has a quick rushed call before Cross has to hurry packing up. Anyways. Yeah it's just Cross going to a new school. There's also this second thing- ab Epic being depressed. He had. Issues or smth. And they get worse with Cross leaving. While Cross is getting new friends he starts forgetting ab Epic. Yeh. I don't remember more tho ngl

An Eye Theory

There's been a lot of debate, over the years, about whether Mana ever loved "Allen".

In the flashback, we clearly see Mana is a compassionate man who wanted to help a kid in a bad situation; in his final moments as himself, he wanted to take Red away from the circus with him. He wanted them to leave together. But that was compassion, not love.

And then Apocryphos used Red's Innocence to shatter his mind. After that, it's very much a question of if Mana was even capable of loving "Allen", as mentally unstable as he was. From what we've seen, he was very affectionate, and though he got Allen the dog and Red the kid mixed up, he eventually went on to introduce "Allen" to the symbols. You don't try to teach a dog to read your secret code. He understood "Allen" was a person, but more than that, we don't really know.

But the soul the Earl excised out of himself and had Allen put into an Akuma did some stuff that doesn't line up with it being the soul of a completely clueless man.

If we go on the assumption that the Earl was trying to rid Mana of any inconvenient memories through this process, we can assume Akuma!Mana is a conglomerate of just more than "Mana Walker". My best guess is that when the Earl excised Akuma!Mana, the memories he was trying to get rid of included stuff that re-stabilized Mana Walker, including knowledge of what actually happened when he met Red. If we consider that as a possibility, a lot of other things become more explicable.

First: If he remembered their first meeting, Akuma!Mana could know that "Allen" was an accomodator with an already activated Innocence capable of combat, perfectly able to destroy a level 0. He also would know “Allen” was fated to be an exorcist, and the threat that Akuma therefore pose.

Second: Akuma!Mana could have gained access to some of the original Mana's knowledge, including stuff about the Earl, Akuma, and souls.

Akuma!Mana said the usual Akuma stuff, and did the usual Akuma stuff, which Akuma cannot seem to help. But Akuma!Mana also did more than that: the "I'll curse you!" wasn't just bluster. He actually did manage to "curse" Allen, which the Earl clearly didn't know about. The Earl must not have thought the Akuma even capable of it, so he certainly wasn't making the Akuma do that specifically.

Mana couldn't control all the instincts of the Akuma, but he could use them to his own advantage.

As evidence, we gotta go on a bit of a tangent:

In the second volume, Hoshino mentions a play that inspired Lala and Gozul. The play goes like this: Old servant falls in love with high-class young lady. She plays with his feelings and he dies. As a vengeful spirit, he decides to curse her. But in the end, he changes his mind, and decides that as a spirit, he'd rather protect her instead, so long as she promises to remember him.

I've seen people dismiss this play in the analysis of DGM before, because let's be real, the premise here is kinda creepy. And it doesn't seem to actually have much to do with Lala and Gozul besides the aesthetic of "old man" and "beautiful maiden".

But the concept of a vengeful spirit saying they'll curse someone they once loved, only to overcome their negative feelings and decide to protect that person instead is present in the story, in a pair of characters the deliberately parallel Lala and Gozul.

Or maybe even more than one pair of characters that parallel Lala and Gozul.

We'll be focusing on Mana and Allen for now though.

I pointed out before that Akuma!Mana didn't need prompting by the Earl to attack, unlike Claire. I think Mana was using the programming of the Akuma to his advantage; if he attacked, he could place the anchor (the star) he'll need on Allen's face without the Earl finding his actions suspicious, and Allen's Innocence would activate to protect Allen, destroying the Akuma shell and freeing his soul to latch on to that anchor.

This gave Allen the ability to see souls, probably because it was Mana's power originally, ensuring Allen would be protected in the future. Thanks to this ability, most of the risk of being ambushed as an exorcist is minimized, so Allen’s career as an exorcist would be relatively safer.

Mana was the "vengeful spirit" (aka Akuma) that decided to become a guardian spirit of someone he loved instead, just like in the play. Allen is "younger loved one" that, in exchange for that protection, must carry Mana's memory.

But it's not just Mana's memory Allen carries, but Nea's too. Nea's also a spirit haunting a loved one, but he hasn't decided whether he wants to destroy or protect yet.

Of course, there’s no guarantee any of this is true. I might be completely off base here. But it’s my current theory, and I’m gonna roll with it, because it does explain a lot of things.

And, most importantly, means Akuma!Mana did mean it when he said he loved “Allen”.

So why the fuck are you outside, in the garden of the party hall that your friends went through the trouble of renting? Why the fuck are you sitting on a grass while wearing your prettiest dress, weeping like a child?

He's not supposed to see you in such a sorry state, sporting Rudolf's red nose when it's months away from Christmas. Fat, ugly tears pooling in your eyes and your mascara must be ruined by now. He's not supposed to see you being this down bad for him, to the point that you're willing to bawl your eyes out in a place like this.

"Don't come near me! Please, leave me alone." you accidentally yelled at him, wrapping your arms around yourself and totally losing it. You hid your face on your arms, sobbing quietly, not having it in you to continue bearing the pain of having the love of your life be the loss of your life in one night.

It was your fault. Everything was your fault.

You didn't confess to him when you had the chance. You let him meet new girls, you supported him when he said that he wanted to talk with the girl that was recently transferred in your class.

It was your fault for being a mess, for being a coward. It was your fault for settling in the title of being friends.

The times when you shared secret glances across the room, the touches that were far too long to be considered platonic but never really given the meaning that they deserve, the sweet nothings that you whisper to each other after a long, tiring day.

You were the culprit behind the heist, so really, you shouldn't act like the victim. It's unfair for him.

My thoughts/notes on akayona chapter 264

I really dislike the dragon gods after this chapter however I can sort of understand them, in that hiryuu was gone for like 2 thousand years, didn't return to heaven and did who knows what in that time span. So it would makes sense if the gods were driven to insanity because of that, additionally, wouldn't hiryuu have know the gods personalities and guessed that they may have gone insane because of of him leaving. Oh and pointing out the next question, what did he do in those 2 thousand years if he didn't go to heaven, it seems sketchy kinda like the other dragon gods.

Especially to the point he reincarnated without any of his memories, like after 2000 years he choose to do something 💀so this could mean that he apathetic to some degree like the other gods or his powers are limited (makes more sense to me)

-yona's powers being limited makes sense because in this whole chapter she basically had no power and had to argue with the other gods, and they only let her argue because they liked her or well hiyruu

-also I know people were theorising on the last chapter if the food yona ate in the chalice might have weakened her or is a parallel to the greek persephone myth and I think it has some value cause it would explain why she and hiryuu are weak compared to the other gods

Next dragon god, ouryuu, where is he? I know he's trapped inside zeno but why has he not joined in with the other gods. To me it seemed like zeno had ig some sort of power? in a sense because the gods asked yona to kill him, it doesn't make sense unless they couldn't kill him them selves. So is it a loophole where only hiryuu can kill him and any other god that does is messing with ouryuu jurisdiction? ig or is it again telling us that the dragon gods powers are severely limited that they can't kill zeno themselves.

Also the other 3 dragons acted as a hive mind like they all had the same desires and stuff. What if it's all an illusion or just one god acting on the behalf of the others. This could also just mean that insanity drove them to have one single desire/thought? Idk

More into the dragon gods, when they shapeshifted into Hak it really drove home how much they didn't understand humans and emotions in general that they can't differentiate between romantic and platonic relationships. It just shows how they only understand yona in a basic level like when they shapeshifted into the dragons, they didn't understand she liked their personalities.

Also the gods treated their descents like they had no agency or more like they disliked them and it makes sense with how most of the dragon warriors treated their powers as a curse, like it would make sense for the gods to act like this if for centuries u heard ur power being called a curse and would explain partly why they are so apathetic/hold a dislike towards humans.

Onto the dragons, it felt like what the gods promised was too good to be true in them being humans like there has to be some kind of side effect to it, like a version of the crimson dragon disease or them being reincarnated (essentially leaving Hak and su won alone unless they want to deal with kids), I just really don't trust the gods to be kind and follow through with it properly.

Wider effects on kouka, I think 2 chapters before we were shown the natural disasters happening there just because yona came into the chalice so it would probably continue if yona is going to be in the heavens. It shows how apathetic they are towards humans and sucks for su won.

Also poor Hak and the dragons, their reactions when they find out what happened to yona is going to be devastating 😭

-I really liked the flower motif in this chapter, its been prominent throughout the story but I liked it because I'm pretty sure yona's name means lotus and su won gae her a lotus hair pin so it could be a parallel to all that symbolism especially with her drowning in those flowers. I just really love that detail.
