Y'all don't seem to realize that Jonathan Harker's not a real estate agent, he's a lawyer. He just passed the bar exam (or whatever the 1897 British version of that is) before leaving London for this trip. He's a real estate lawyer and all his documents are legal documents!

So we're not reading about our good buddy Johnny the realtor, he's our good buddy Johnny the newly certified lawyer who's book-smart but not very worldly as he travels to Transylvania to explain British property laws to his client, Count Dracula.
