starting to realize that my indifference to zerith has nothing to do with the actual ship (it’s a great ship on paper as far as i’m concerned) but more to do with aerith’s (imo) lackluster personality in crisis core?? zack is a treasure and i love him, but i’ve never felt a strong connection to aerith in cc. something about the way she was written feels off.

and because crisis core is the piece of media that has the majority of zack and aerith’s on-screen interactions, i don’t find zerith *that* compelling just due to me not liking aerith that much in it :/

let’s hope the remake finally salvages the ship for me, because at the moment i find it very good on paper but meh in execution (sorry.)
